My name is Candice and my husband is Vin (as of 6/20/08). We live just outside of Boston with my/our 8 year-old son, Trevor. We have been ttc now since October of 2007. We got pregnant on our first try back then (I could be so lucky now), resulting in a miscarriage in December. I had a D&C on December 27th. We waited one cycle to start trying again and, so far, it has been a (seemingly) long and anxious road. We hope to get our BFP soon!

How is everything going? One of my best friends just told me she's 10 weeks pregnant. I'm happy for her, but part of me is a bit sad that it's not me who's pregnant.

I miss him a lot, but I love having our king size bed all to myself. Of course, the dogs who usually sleep in their own beds on the floor, are taking advantage of the extra room on the bed and decided to sleep with me. Sherman Lee tends to take up even more space than Auggie (because he sleeps horizontal, on his back, and spread eagle), but I can move him. I did wake up with one huge doggie ass in my face this morning, though. LOL

Hmmm, weird. I still think your cycle this month might just be off a bit because of the wedding. Just keep using it. When is AF due? As soon as that day passes, you can press the "m" button and start over with a new cycle. Then, you will probably be able to figure out if it is broken or not. Keep peeing! I still have faith in this month for you!

Wow. Tell your son happy birthday! I guess kids are ultimately still kids no matter what the age. 8/9 sounds like a fun age. And I definitely understand what you mean by them not having much foresight. I wonder what age they're gonna pick it up...ha ha. I just took my kids in today for their yearly checkups and age 3 and 5 are fun, like going to Kindergarten and all that, but challenging. I think I have more trouble with my five year old than my youngest. But their personalities are so different too, so I don't know.
Yeah, Hawaii is fun for a while I guess. The weather is perfect right now. I've lived kind of all over growing up, so it's just another dot on the map. But it's a nice dot at that. I'm a military wife, but hopefully this will be our last duty station. The lifestyle has it's perks, but in the end it isn't worth being away from him when he deploys. His last one was 15 months and it felt impossible. Anyway, how's the weather there? You like living there?

Yeah. the adventures with the monitor! lol. My blogs have a thing or two to say that's for sure. Yeah, I can't believe Gretchen is pregnant! That is exciting and gives me hope. Anyway, I'm with you...I just want to see the peak with that little egg in there. I haven't seen you much on the ttc forum, so I'm glad you aren't staying silent lately. ha ha. I will definitely keep in touch. It's nice to know when someone's in your shoes. Again congrats and enjoy the newlywed high. I've been married for 6 years. I see you also have an 8 year old. I have a 5 year old daughter and a 3 year old. They keep me on my toes that's for sure. What's 8 like?

Hey. WE have been ttc since oct 2007 as well. I'm so sorry about the m/c. I dont know how I would even be able to handle something like that. I am also using a monitor and I got six consecutive days of high fertility reading and now it's back down to low. It totally sucks. I got the high on day 19-24. Anyway, the manual says something about that. It says if you don't get the peak either you didn't ovulate or too much urine or too little urine was used on the stick. Although you'd think we'd be professionals at peeing on those dang sticks by now. I don't know. I'm confused too. Hopefully this helps some. Congrats on getting married!
