YAY!! AVA NICOLE IS FINALLY HERE!!!
Birth Story:
Monday night @ midnight, my husband and I went to the hospital for my induction. They started me on the IV and I just got some rest until about 6am. At 6 they started the Pitocin. At 10 my doctor came in and broke my water. At 11 I was BEGGING for that epidural. Another woman had just asked for it ahead of me so I had to lay there and wait .. so in that hour I felt the worst pains of my entire life!! Finally at about 12, I got my epidural. (It really didn't hurt as bad as I figured.. felt like a bee sting. but I could feel it going into my body, it was real cold.. just weird lol) so about 10 minutes after that I was in heaven. haha.. I didn't feel a thing! Everyone kept watching my monitor saying OMG that was a huge contraction!.. ha, didn't even feel it! (I totally recommend the epidural..worked GREAT!) ....after laying there waiting to dilate more and waiting for her head to come lower.. I finally started pushing at around 5pm. I pushed for an hour and a half. Nothing. Her head was stuck. lol... so my doctor told me she was going to either A- give me a c-section.. or B- use forceps to try and help her come out. well I WAS NOT going to get a c-section, so I went with B. I pushed 1 good hard one and she didn't even need the forceps for the next 2 pushes. At 6:25, My baby girl was born!! Ava Nicole was born on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 @ 6:25pm. She weighed 7lbs & 12oz. She was 20 and 3 quarter inches long. Head FULL of hair!! Beautiful. Perfect. :)

---OCTOBER 8, 2007 on a Monday---
Today I had a doctor's appointment.. Saw baby.. It's a GIRL! :)
We saw her kicking and squirming around in there! (which this past week is the first time I have started to feel movement!) She was being very camera friendly! She weighs 11 ounces.. almost 1 pound! She looked so perfect just from the ultrasound monitor. I can't wait to see my beautiful baby girl!
---FEBRUARY 12, 2008 on a Tuesday---
Wow.. I had written a few things on here since Oct. 8.. but I don't know what happened to it? lol.. well a lot has happened since then! I am 37 weeks today! Went to the doctor yesterday and found out that she wants to induce me on February 26th! I will go into the hospital around midnight on the 25th, and have her sometime on the 26th. so only 2 more weeks until I get to see and hold my beautiful baby girl! I've had a pretty easy pregnancy.. the only complications I've had is high blood pressure these past few weeks. I did a 24-hr urine and everything came back fine. I am just starting to get really nervous and anxious about labor & delivery. I know it will come to me natural but I can't seem to not get nervous about it. lol
People ask me what some of my weird/unusual cravings throughout my pregnancy were... well I had only 1 adversion.. BBQ sauce. yucckk!
At the beginning of my pregnancy I wanted anything sour. then it changed to fruits, and then spicey! haha.. It's been all around crazy.. I never really craved sweets though. which pretty much amazes me seeing I loooove junk food and sweets & could eat them at any time of day. I guess my little Ava didn't want any of that! :)

hey hey hey mamas and babies and mamas to be!!!! howdy doo all!!! hope you are all well, and happy babies and sleepy heads at nite., well as some of you already know iam heading out to africa next friday to visit me mom. and i may get on rarely when i get the damn net. but if not then you all have a great remainder of summer, i have to pack the suitcases on sunday and the kids started their malaria meds today, and again every week for almost 8 wks, poor lil roman he made the most sour face i ever seen on a baby when he tatsed the meds, they are bitter and most kids dont take it too well but my boys downed the stuff well enuff after a heavy dinner. i start mine 2 days before we leave. so mamas wish us luck we come back safe and disease free( we better after all them damn shots me and the boys have taken) shit better work!!! iam gonna miss ya all my cyber babies and their babies. we will be back on the 13th august and Godwilling if we are still alive we will holla at ya all that week and post some pics. goodluck to all of you in all of your endevours. you all know who you all are, okay rommy rome is out. christina22908 - Thursday, 26 June
