My profile
Hi everyone! I'm new to this site, I'm 3 months pregnant (new to that too). I hope to make connections, share thoughts, meet new people, and learn as much as I can about my new journey. Happy Mother's Day to me. =)
I'm almost into my 2nd trimester. The first trimester was a load.
The first month I peed every 15 minutes - literally. I started getting backaches constantly getting up. Thought I was having twins. Twins run in both my family and my husband's family. But, no, just one "Large for Dates" baby as the doctor labeled on my chart. Nausea took control of me. I lived on club soda and saltine crackers (without the salt). I had them in my car, at my desk at work, in the living room, at my bed side. My thoughts started revolving around .."do I have enough crackers left.
Second Month: The peeing got better. Now it was every hour on the hour - literally. 2:08pm I'd pee, go back to sleep, wake up, look at the VCR. 3:08 pm it read. Okay, I thought. Went back to sleep woke up again, looked at the time, 4:08 pm it read. "Hm" I thought. Peed, went to sleep, woke up. 5:08 pm. "What the heck I thought? Are you serious? Is this is what pregnancy is like cause if it is Dear Lord please bless me with twins, cause I can't go through this again. Everyday, this is what I went through at different times. Back pain lessened, but here comes the cramps.
Third Month: I had some of the weirdest, why-did-i-just-dream-that dreams, I started to question if it's me or the pregnancy. Nearing the end of the third month, they're pretty much gone. Surprisingly, I've only vomitted once in three months. But, I'm getting hip pain and cramping, so much cramping I felt immobilized. Weeks went by and I thought it would go away. I went to the ER and they told me it was Sciatica. I just wanted the pain to go away, so my doctor referred me to a Chiropractor/Acupuncturist. Before long, I was twisted up back cracking and had pins sticking from my head, toes, hand. I left feeling much better. Not 100%, but damn what a relief. I always wanted to try acupunture, but never thought pregnancy would lead me to it.
