Monday, 14 April hello!!
it sounds like you need to switch doctors. It is never too late, especially if you dont have a relationship with him/her. Remember, you are THEIR customer... so they should be doing everything to make you feel comfortable because you're paying them a huge sum of money to assist you in one of the most important moments of your life. So if you cant stand him, you are not being hormonal. It sounds like he could care less about you as a human being and about your feelings. His comment about your s/marks sounds like he's very insensitive and he deserves to get fired. mizzhoney -
Monday, 14 April Switch if you feel something is not right. Just have them send your records to the next OB. Also sometimes you can look a doctor up online to see what kind of education and/or reputation they have. kirbys1st -
Monday, 14 April change doctors girl! you need to feel comfortable with your doc! I switched at 3 months! chrissytx -
Monday, 14 April I am responding to your post about your doctor. CHANGE doctors if you don't feel 100% comfortable. My last pregnancy ended in the death of our daughter due to mistreatment and poor judgment by my doctor. I called others to switch when I was about 5 months pregnant because I had reservations about her, I ignored my instincts as not to hurt her feelings and now I am kicking myself for it. Mothers just "feel" things, we know when something isn't exactly right and we need to listen to this. I strongly believe my daughter would be here today if I listened to myself and switched doctors! Hope this advice helps you some! Have a great preggers!! Rachel918 -
Sunday, 13 April Hey, If you are that unhappy and he makes you upset then change asap. I dont think it will be anymore comfortable in the delivery room for you.. Find a new doctor though before ditching him. Good luck, sorry you had such awful luck at your appointment, i always look forward to mine, I love my doctor but she isnt so close to where I live but that is ok:) araya-sunshine -
Tuesday, 8 April My boobs always leak during pregnancy but not a lot. If its just the boob you hurt and its a lot of milk I would say the injury most have caused swelling which puts presure on the milk glands and is causing the milk to leave your boob. If that's the case then once the swelling from the injury goes away your boob will probably stop leaking. If both of your boobs are leaking then its normal. chastin -
Tuesday, 25 Mar thanks!! yea all we can do is hope it goes away!! :) amy -
Tuesday, 25 Mar ummm again, yes!! I just keep saying to people that, 'I am just not very good at this.' I have never been good at sharing, espesially my body. This is my 2nd and last! shk0910 -
Monday, 24 Mar UMMMM yeah. I wasn't like this the first go around. I was excited about it. This time I just am ready to be done with it. I know it's a blessing to be able to be preggers and have children and I do feel blessed but man is it taxing. I'm ready for a semi normal life again. There are things I miss doing. AND YES I hate the comments on the weight. One lady looked at me after she asked me my due date and I told her. She said 'oh my gosh you are huge you will never make it.' I just looked at her and said 'i've gained 6 lbs, and then walked off.' I was pissed. What gives anyone the right to comment on anyone elses weight, pregnant or not. katieandminic -
Wednesday, 19 Mar hey Carly What's up? finally done with work for the day... yea was up till forever too... when will things be normal again? lol Rachel918 -
Monday, 17 Mar Yea same thing with me... Well my dr said that it could be the baby seperating my ribs.. Plus i noticed this morning when i woke up that on that boob was completely wet, so im not sure if its really boob or the ribs hurting but now i know im leaking lol. my-lil-miracle -
Tuesday, 11 Mar Thanks for the info on WIC, I have been receiving it for a few months and it is a world of help... basically just the milk, you get 6 or 7 gallons a month... with milk prices that is my saving grace. About the water, yeah, it is a ridiculous ammount, but it's what's needed, and YES, i was also running to the bathroom every 3 hours!, It helps if you just make a point of visiting the bathroom (weather u feel u need to go or not) every 3 hours... trust me you don't want to pee ur pants in the grocery store :) also something that can cause headaches is sugar... I drank a lot of soda the first trimester and barely water and didn't know why i had dull aching headaches every day, then i switched to water and milk and orange juice and i stopped the soda ALLTOGETHER (i don't care what anyone says soda even non-caffienated is addictive). Since then i feel a world better, also the weight gain has been managable... Sugar is crazy, i already eat enough without adding soda to it...... :), how'[s ur little one today??? do u feel lots of kicks yet??? Also, the higher ur baby gets in the next few weeks will take pressure off ur bladder. my-lil-miracle -
Tuesday, 11 Mar My pee smells strong when I don't drink enough water... If it is also dark that is sure sign that u need more water in your diet... it takes a lot of water for you and your baby to live on... Try drinking 2 liters aday, that's what's recomended, that's 4 16 ounce water bottles a day... just keep refilling and you'll feel better, also that will help with any headaches you may have... Hope that helped!! xxLindsayDxx -
Tuesday, 11 Mar awh thanks for your message left to me. :] I appreciate it. It does help to see other moms kinda going through similar things that I am going through, because that way I learn to survive it. I've always said that pregnant moms should stick together. lol We can learn a lot from each other. And I guess I get used to feeling like I must do things all on my own because that is what I have been left with. I've felt like a wreck all day today and yesterday. Very little things cheer me up. *hugs* thanks for your concern. I do hope things are going well for you and your baby and family :] junglebaby -

Wednesday, 5 Mar Sorry to tell you, but some women experience extreme morning sickness throughout their pregnancy. Make sure they monitor your fluid intake if you throw up too much. Some women end up having to go to the hospital regularly to get fluids through the IV. Hopefully you won't be that unlucky. Good luck to you! shk0910 -
Monday, 25 Feb Yeah, my ribs ache a lot. Sometimes I can't get comfortable at night b/c they are hurting so bad. Try a heating pad on low, or a warm bath. Alexis08 -
