Hey Girlies...my name is Meagan and im from new jersey, this is me and my boyfriends first baby, were having a BOY...we are more than excited..his name is going to be Carmello Michael after my boyfriends grandfather...my pregnancy has been far from easy to say the least..when i was two months pregnant i broke my collarbone snowboarding and needed surgery, i was unable to get that surgery because i could not go under Anesthsia...everything healed up ok though...then when i was 20 weeks, i developed a HORRIBLE side pain that was very persistant...after about a week of suffering my urologist came to the conclusion that i have kidney stones, altough they cannot see for sure because they are unable to do a catscan because of the radiation. Basically my only option was to have a stent put connected from my kidney down to my bladder because my right kidney was backed up. (the stent is basically a foot long plastic straw with coiles on the end) and it hurts let me tell you aside from the constant UTI that you feel like u have, you have constant blood in ur urine and u can actually feel the stent in you...in the end though it is all worth is for my lil boy. hope i didnt gross anyone out with my story :)
