Hello all! Excellent day today. Bunny Bun had a really great scan this morning and it's official- Bunny is a Girl! We're so happy. Honestly it didn't matter what we were having, only that the baby is healthy. Now it's time to start up the shopping and decorating the nursery. Love and hugs to all and I hope that you're having a good day today. We are!

Hello all. Had a bit of a scare on Tuesday. Headaches, saw those little silvery stars and was light headed all day. I thought I may have been coming down with this flu that's been sweeping the lands-After work I came home to try and lay down, to only become restless and worrisome. I went to triage and found out that I was dehydrated and my blood pressure was up. I felt bad because all day long, I tried to wait it out thinking that my "off" feeling would pass. Eventually it did, however there could have been something more serious happening to us and I didn't heed the warnings. I'm grateful that this was a minor issue and can be avoided in the future by monitoring my salt intake...no protein in the urine and I'm not pre-eclamptic as of this point.

On a more pleasant note, we find out what we are having this Tuesday- can't wait. I think we are having a boy- Daddy wants another little girl. I'm happy either way. We have a couple names picked out. Dante Lee and Nya Belle... I'll post again soon! thanks for taking the time to read my blog!

NT Scan went well today...Bunny Bun is doing well. Wasn't as active as we would have liked to see and that's ok. Melted my heart today, that's for sure.

ahhhh deep breath here. Tuesday during a cervical length measurement ultrasound it was discovered that my cervix was starting to funnel from the inside out. I was consulted on getting a cerclage- which this exact happening was what we were hoping to catch with the biweekly scans- and I elected to have one. We did the works- spinal block-cut away and pushed up part of my bladder to get the stitch up higher and we made it out ok with minimal discomfort. I will tell you this, I knew for a long time that my cervix wasn `t `normal ` and that I was going to have issues with this pregnancy- however my dr `s really didn `t seem to understand what I was trying to tell them. An incompetent cervix/soft mushy cervix like mine doesn `t `look ` incompetent on an ultra sound. It wasn `t until I was on the operating table and they manually examined my cervix were they able to determine that the fibers of my cervix were to flexible they could have put a finger through it right to the baby. This catch in the changes of my body were meant to happen. I believe that angels were watching over us on Tuesday. I pray daily and thank God that this opportunity was given and allowed to be taken. We `re on modified bedrest and will find out this afternoon after my follow up scan if I can return to work on Monday. I `m hoping that I am able to go back. At the very least this baby needs to stay in for 7 more weeks according to the surgeon. I `m not so good at the layng around thing. I will update later on this afternoon.

follow up scan went well. We are able to return to work Monday with very limited activity. The cerclage is in a good position and Bunny Bun is doing well too. Her h/r was 166 this afternoon. To all of those that have shared their cerclage stories and experiences, thank you so much for your input. It helped me become a better health advocate for myself and I appreciate it- we appreciate it so much. Thank you for being around for us. xoxo

iv finished work now coz of the pains i was just told to rest and keep my feet up (my legs are getting SOOOO FAT lol) its not sexy! but its gettting beyond a hjoke now with the pain.
things are okay andy still been andy n upsetting me but also trying to be there to support me and the baby hes getting more used to it but im still freeking out lol

Thanks for your feedback. I'm actually really excited about the whole thing. I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing for me and the baby. And I do want to feel like I'm in some kind of control. I do love and trust my dr, so I'm just going to relax and let the baby dictate what happens next. Thanks, again and take care!

Your story gave me goosebumps with your daughters names and the meanings...question, if you don't mind me asking. Did you carry to term with Kendi or did you have preterm labor like myself and she did not make it? i just want to make sure I don't ever have to go through this again. I'm glad that now I know what to look for...but I'm still scared to ever get pregnant again.

Thank you for your comments. i went into labor at 26.5 weeks, and had her on the first day of my 27th week. They tried everything to stop her from coming...but my active labor kept coming on. I was on progesterone for the first 12 weeks, but nothing after that. Perhaps taking the shots for the whole pregnancy would be better next time. I have fibroids...so they think they were the culprit since they got so big. You have 3 children...so your dr must be a very good one at that!!!! This has been very hard on me, so I will be very cautious the next time around. Thank you for your thoughts...and best wishes to you and your growing family.

How was you weekend. I had a VERY eventful one. I went for my regular baby doctor appointment on Friday morning at 11:00am. Well they checked me and I was dilated to a 1and contracting. (mind you, they were not painful and I have been experiencing them from about 23 weeks) They took me right up to the hospital where I was admitted. They monitored me and the baby. I was contracting often, but not regularly. They gave me so many meds to stop the contractions, which worked. I also received the steroid shots for the baby, and I am on Procardia every six hours. They released me this morning so now I am back on strict bed rest at home. Hopefully I can hang in there for another 4 weeks!!! Hope all is well with you.

I'm hoping so! It's been doing it on and off since I was suppose to get my period March 15th! But it seems to have stopped alot since I started the progesterone. One more thing, sister-to-sister, can I put a perm in my hair during my 1st trimester??? I've heard mixed responses and I'm not sure which way to go! These braids are fallin out and I'm growin new ones! LOL!

Yes, I love using Bio Oil on my face! Almond Oil is good too, I give myself a face massgae with it!! I have been using Bio oil since I first found out I was pregnant, just rubbing it on my belly and thighs morning and night!! Clarins Body Tonic Oil is good too!x

Hello!!!! Sory for the delay answerig about the low blodd pressure. You feel dizzy, lightheaded, like you can pass out anytime soon. The nurse told me that I have to drink plenty of water to avoid it. Ihope ou are doing great!!!!!!!

I don't really have any pain at night except the round ligament pain that comes and goes. But I swear I developed restless leg syndrome because I feel like I have to constantly move my legs or stretch them out when I am laying down. My husband could sleep through a hurricane, so none of this bothers him to much. I am contemplating on starting to sleep on the couch, but I really don't think it would help that much. Like I said before, thank God I am off work, because I would be a zombie at work with no sleep. After I take my daughter to school I usually come home and sleep for 2-3 hours. It's just enough for me to feel rested and get through the day. And me and my husband are thinking of having another when this one turns one! What am I thinking!!!!! I looked at your pictures today and I noticed the wedding ones. Did you and your husband get married recently? If so congrats! I got married when I was 5 months pregnant with my now 6 year old. I couldn't even drink or really party down at my own wedding, but oh well, things worked out. I noticed that you are in Wisconsin, me i'm in Michigan, winter has returned here. After having 70 degree weather for about 3 weeks we are back to the 40's and 50's. It stinks because we had to break out the winter shoes and jackets again. I am so ready for summer!!!!

Nyah (hope I spelled it right) is a pretty name. I like it. I sleep like SHIT at night. I don't even sleep anymore. I more or less doze off and on all night. I can't get comfortable so I also toss and turn all night. I have thought about trying to sleep some place else, but I doubt it will help. Thank goodness I no longer work, because I would be a zombie at work. I had a terrible dream 2 nights ago about me and the baby. I am still trying to shake it. But I believe a dream is just a dream and nothing else!!!

Are you still hanging in there? How is everything going? I have actually been feeling pretty good. I got my hair done yesterday, which is a big deal for me since I really don't get out of the house much because of the modified bed rest. Boy do I feel like a new person!!! Hope all is well with you.

hey .... i was told i had an ovarian cyst last november it is 4cm big that is why the doc wanted to put me on the clomid it was preventing me from ovulating so hope fully when i have it removed i wont have to start the clomid i would like to fall pregnant naturally like i did with zahra .....i was told once it has gone ill be fine....oxoxox

hey today is a great day i feel fantastic.... i have no idea why.... i have not cryed once today and i feel so content its amazing ......im looking forward to my ultrasound next tuesday its the first day of finding out what is going on and when i can have my op to get my cyst removed and then we can work out when we want to try again ..... im so excited its like Christmas...lol ...bec xoxox
