Hello all! Excellent day today. Bunny Bun had a really great scan this morning and it's official- Bunny is a Girl! We're so happy. Honestly it didn't matter what we were having, only that the baby is healthy. Now it's time to start up the shopping and decorating the nursery. Love and hugs to all and I hope that you're having a good day today. We are!

Hello all. Had a bit of a scare on Tuesday. Headaches, saw those little silvery stars and was light headed all day. I thought I may have been coming down with this flu that's been sweeping the lands-After work I came home to try and lay down, to only become restless and worrisome. I went to triage and found out that I was dehydrated and my blood pressure was up. I felt bad because all day long, I tried to wait it out thinking that my "off" feeling would pass. Eventually it did, however there could have been something more serious happening to us and I didn't heed the warnings. I'm grateful that this was a minor issue and can be avoided in the future by monitoring my salt intake...no protein in the urine and I'm not pre-eclamptic as of this point.

On a more pleasant note, we find out what we are having this Tuesday- can't wait. I think we are having a boy- Daddy wants another little girl. I'm happy either way. We have a couple names picked out. Dante Lee and Nya Belle... I'll post again soon! thanks for taking the time to read my blog!

NT Scan went well today...Bunny Bun is doing well. Wasn't as active as we would have liked to see and that's ok. Melted my heart today, that's for sure.

3/7- WHAT on earth is it with me and mustard? I want it on everything. I `ve never really been a fan, but that `s changed...oh well-I `m sure I `ll get over it.

ahhhh deep breath here. Tuesday during a cervical length measurement ultrasound it was discovered that my cervix was starting to funnel from the inside out. I was consulted on getting a cerclage- which this exact happening was what we were hoping to catch with the biweekly scans- and I elected to have one. We did the works- spinal block-cut away and pushed up part of my bladder to get the stitch up higher and we made it out ok with minimal discomfort. I will tell you this, I knew for a long time that my cervix wasn `t `normal ` and that I was going to have issues with this pregnancy- however my dr `s really didn `t seem to understand what I was trying to tell them. An incompetent cervix/soft mushy cervix like mine doesn `t `look ` incompetent on an ultra sound. It wasn `t until I was on the operating table and they manually examined my cervix were they able to determine that the fibers of my cervix were to flexible they could have put a finger through it right to the baby. This catch in the changes of my body were meant to happen. I believe that angels were watching over us on Tuesday. I pray daily and thank God that this opportunity was given and allowed to be taken. We `re on modified bedrest and will find out this afternoon after my follow up scan if I can return to work on Monday. I `m hoping that I am able to go back. At the very least this baby needs to stay in for 7 more weeks according to the surgeon. I `m not so good at the layng around thing. I will update later on this afternoon.

follow up scan went well. We are able to return to work Monday with very limited activity. The cerclage is in a good position and Bunny Bun is doing well too. Her h/r was 166 this afternoon. To all of those that have shared their cerclage stories and experiences, thank you so much for your input. It helped me become a better health advocate for myself and I appreciate it- we appreciate it so much. Thank you for being around for us. xoxo

Girl please! I know this boy is huge, LOL! I have been eaing like crazy too. One of my sister-in-laws took me to lunch today at Uno's Chicago Pizza and although I have tried to stay away from pizza, I could not help myself and now of course, I have heartburn, ughhh! Took some Tums a few minutes ago so it should be better soon.

Wow, your hubby built a changng table? He is really talented! You saved a ton. I'm using the top of the dresser and I added the changing pad because I thought they were ridiculously expensive.

We chilled out around the house yesterday and did not do much but threw some things on our grill. I'm just happy that the Fourth has passed and the calendar is still moving quickly!

Hope you get to see your sis and her family today. Well I'm laying around now, I went to Target to get pampers, bottles and a bathtub since I didn't get those things at the shower. Now I'm going to rest...

Girl I know my baby is hella big! However, I'd rather have that issue than some of the others I read about. You are right i'm just going to wait and see what happens... he has to get her one way or the other, righr?

Thanks for the information. We have been looking at many options but because of what my husband makes we do not qualify for alot of assistance. He does make very good money so with his in come alone we bring in too much for what most ppl will consider.

We will be able to make it, we just wont be going out to dinner so much or dropping 100.00 here and there for really nothing. It wont really hurt us too much. We are both just spoiled, ok, well I am spoiled...lol...And I know it will only be for 4 months till my truck is paid off, so I know there will be an end to it shortly. Its either we pay for insruance or we pay more then 500-650 in child care and have someone else raise our son. So we are wanting to just tighten down and allow out son to be at home with us. I was very lucky with my first son, my mom was alive and was able to care for my first son. I do want to return back to work in about a year and where I work cant wait for me to come back full time, and I have not even left yet..lol....I have been with my company since 1996 so with part time I am still keeping my foot in the door.

I still think everything will happen without any problems. Oh I bet he is freaking out at least a little on the inside haha

I am doing good my back is bothering me from sitting in a chair all day but I only have 17 min left and then I have a long weekend which will be SO nice!!! The honey is going to go paintballing with the guys from his work tomorrow so I will have the house to myself which will also be nice! I might so see my mom but other than that I am looking forward to a nice lazy weekend. I am so in love with ice cream right now haha especially the dips ice cream!!!! YUM

I'm fine thank you. Lately I've been thinking about how I'm going to handle going back to work while managing her needs. It frightens me a bit. My job is so demanding at times...making me work doubles overnite and whatnot...I mean...how can i do that and come home with no sleep and be a mama??? I know I should not worry, as I have til sept 3rd..but it's going so fast now. I'm in my 4th week already. :o( So your baby girl has dropped? Won't be long now!!! I swear Anelise was in the drop position the entire 6 months I was preggo. She was so low...guess she was ready to get out the moment she got in. LOL

OMG! Why do you say a girl!? So does everyone else in my family! Well, if it's a boy, it'll be a Jr, hands down and if it's a girl, we are actually leaning towards........TRINITY (THANK YOU SIS!) I guess it's kinda safe to say you have named my baby girl! :):) It was on a list of names I gave him to agree on and he liked that one best! Now think of a middle name for me that starts with an "L"! :) I feel like we know each other! I wish you were still in Arlington so I'd have someone to hang with! I'm not working yet but definitely looking before I get too big and turn off potential employers. I go to the doc July 23rd. I'll be almost 19 weeks then. I hope they give me an ultrasound so I can know what we're having! Make sure you keep me posted with everything!

I think we all do that, wonder what they will be like, who they will be like.

I am not nervous at all for the delivery...yet...just anxious. I love being pregnant right now. I love when he moves I love not being sick. My belly in't too big so I can still do things! But I just can't wait to meet my little man and hold him!!

It sounds lovely!! I can't wait to get mine. Your right, its all natural and much cheaper than all the other things that are made up of chemicals that you can buy and half the time they don't work anyways. How are you feeling?

That is a really beautiful name!!

We picked the name Paxton a long time ago and then the other day I went and looked it up and it means peace on the farm haha which means it is perfect because Tuesday will be one year since my dad passed away and both my sisters and I have been having dreams about our dad being on a farm and saying how happy he is there and how he is going to make the roosters crow for us. Sounds lame but it makes me feel positive it is the perfect name!! and I am giving Paxton my dads middle name so it just makes me so happy that it seems so right!
