Let's see--I'll start by telling a bit about our little family unit. My husband, Jesse, and I were high school sweethearts. We dated all through college, and just recently got married on September 8th, 2007. We dated for almost 8 years (but what can you do when you meet when you're 16 and 18!). I'll take a moment to say that I'm so thankful to have my husband in my life--he's my best friend and absolutely wonderful (certainly not perfect) but wonderful still! :) We had our first little one on Saturday, October 18th, 2008. His name is Jackson David ("Jack"). He has such a sweet and calm disposition, and we might be biased, but we think he's absolutely precious! :)

Well, my profile was getting ENTIRELY too long, so I decided to move all of my previous posts to blog form! So I suppose from this point forward I'll just post blogs with updates from my week!

Well i already had pretty large breast for me to be 102lbs 5'3 before preggo and they only kept getting bigger my first trimester...they've slowed down some and i hope it stays that way. I think they're more than big enough for lil bitty mama...one of these days i won't be surprised if i tip over!! ;)

yeah your just so small all around and your belly isn't big either so consider yourself lucky. My mom always tells me i should be so grateful that my all belly and haven't put a pound anywhere else besides my boobs. I guess i can't complain

Everything is going good over here too. I have my glucose test on Sept. 22. Hoping I'll pass. I still haven't gained any weight which the dr.s are waiting to see how much I gain for next time. My belly is growing big and I have just started to wear bigger shirts, because my regular ones don't fit anymore. The baby moves A LOT! It is so active! Sometimes its a bit much at 3 in the morning, but I think it's preparing me! We didn't find out what the sex is but I think it's a boy, most other people say girl but I am really leaning towards boy, it's just my feeling. I'm eating much better, and the baby loves to eat now! Besides that not much else, just waiting till Jan.!!

I'm glad to hear everything is going well. It's amazing how much your belly can change from one day to the next... especially when the baby is moving around alot.

I just read a book that made me feel so much better about the whole labor thing... it's a little hippyish but like I say it really helped. It's called Ina May's guide to Childbirth. If you get too anxious it might be a good thing to pick up at the library.

Yeah I want to get all of our stuff too. My shower is on the 30th of August. One more week. I am super excited.

That was the same way I was with my dress! I bought the first one I tried on! It was so beautiful and it worked with my shape and everything. It was perfect!

I did my glucose test today. Yuck! Talk about a sugar rush! That drink is nuts!

Its nice to meet you Caroline. I am going to pre-register soon I was just curious when everyone did it. Maybe I will go do that next Friday. How long does it take? Does your hubby need to be with you or can you do it by yourself?

I was going to start a bag just because you never know if you will deliver pre-maturely or anything. I am a very impatient person so of course its on my mind. I like to be prepared. Way early! My husband thinks I am being ridiculous but hey, whats wrong with being prepared?
