Let's see--I'll start by telling a bit about our little family unit. My husband, Jesse, and I were high school sweethearts. We dated all through college, and just recently got married on September 8th, 2007. We dated for almost 8 years (but what can you do when you meet when you're 16 and 18!). I'll take a moment to say that I'm so thankful to have my husband in my life--he's my best friend and absolutely wonderful (certainly not perfect) but wonderful still! :) We had our first little one on Saturday, October 18th, 2008. His name is Jackson David ("Jack"). He has such a sweet and calm disposition, and we might be biased, but we think he's absolutely precious! :)

Well, my profile was getting ENTIRELY too long, so I decided to move all of my previous posts to blog form! So I suppose from this point forward I'll just post blogs with updates from my week!

Its nice to meet you Caroline. I am going to pre-register soon I was just curious when everyone did it. Maybe I will go do that next Friday. How long does it take? Does your hubby need to be with you or can you do it by yourself?

I was going to start a bag just because you never know if you will deliver pre-maturely or anything. I am a very impatient person so of course its on my mind. I like to be prepared. Way early! My husband thinks I am being ridiculous but hey, whats wrong with being prepared?

haha i remember that. up til week 20 i asked zach daily if i was getting bigger. then i noticed that i seemed to get bigger every single day and kinda regreted it! haha! one thing i would do differently if i could go back and be pregnant is rubbing lotion or oil on my stomach. my stomach looks so bad right now!!
i havent had to a chance to see their new place yet. rileys really colicky so going out lately has been too big of a hassle. she keeps inviting me over to swim though (only if i wear sweatpants and a sweatshirt will i do that!!). everythings been pretty good though! riley has been an amazing sleeper. we put her down at 8 every night and she doesnt wake up til 7 or 8 in the morning. thats insane for a baby this young!! no complaints though. she had her 2 month checkup today and weighs a whopping 13lbs 5oz!! thats a whole pound bigger than anyone elses babies in my month! chubby babies are the cutest though!

Well, the fight with my job is over and they won. As of last week h/r had dropped everything but this Sat my boss told me that I had to report to a meeting on Today, so when I arrived my boss was there along with h/r and the company supervisor. Anyhow, I was forced to sign the excessive absence paper or I was going to be terminated ( even though I had drs excuses and also they counted the approved time 2 days I had in June against me) they said that It is all considered excessive absences to the company whether it was approved or not. Also, I was slammed with a insubordination paper, which will remain on my file forever. If I get 1 more insubordination I will be fired immediately. I received that for refusal to initially sign the paper. Anyhow, they got me and thats it. I felt like I was attacked and they had an excuse for everything that I said. I was so strong before but I broke down and started to cry and told them how I was good to the company for 8 years with a clean h/r file and I was being treated unfairly. Anyway, today I fell low and taken advantage of. They allso made me submit my maternity leave letter , which I plan on leaving the last week of Sept now if I last that long now. The whole thing sickens me; I just can't wait till my new baby comes and I will forget about that job forever. I guess I will stay till next month until I am either harrassed by my boss until I resign or they find a reason to terminate me. I know you all are probably sick of this story as I am also, but I wanted to thank everyone who has supported me and given me advice. I am just really upset.

I feel even worse that I broke down today and the supervisor said that If I was not pregnant I would have already been fired because of my attitute and disrespect to my boss, but that she is cutting me slack because I am emotional. Anyway, maybe one of you can learn something from my rotten experience. I just don't know anymore! They even suuggested I take a leave earlier. Oh well, I guess there is nothing more to say.
