Let's see--I'll start by telling a bit about our little family unit. My husband, Jesse, and I were high school sweethearts. We dated all through college, and just recently got married on September 8th, 2007. We dated for almost 8 years (but what can you do when you meet when you're 16 and 18!). I'll take a moment to say that I'm so thankful to have my husband in my life--he's my best friend and absolutely wonderful (certainly not perfect) but wonderful still! :) We had our first little one on Saturday, October 18th, 2008. His name is Jackson David ("Jack"). He has such a sweet and calm disposition, and we might be biased, but we think he's absolutely precious! :)

Well, my profile was getting ENTIRELY too long, so I decided to move all of my previous posts to blog form! So I suppose from this point forward I'll just post blogs with updates from my week!

I cannot wait for the 10th, his mom and dad are coming for a week. they would have been here sooner to help out, but they could not get vacation time until Noveber 10. And Katie made her appearance on October 14. I always said she would not break my heart by appearing early, as long as she is healthy, and oh believe me. she eats almost non stop. now I am getting worried about her being a tubbo child. My husband thinks she is built like me. I was 115 pre preggo, then I went to 152.2 at the last appointment, at weight watchers they weighed me and I was 140, well, I weighed myself on hubbys scale (still not sure just how accurate it is), well it said 132...So hubby thinks she will just be a petite little girl. I kind of hope I am at 132, cause if that is true, i will have lost all but 2 pounds in 2 weeks. But I am breastfeeding, so that is probably why. He doesn't complain about the house, but I sure do. It is just hard to keep the dishes done, the laundry done, the trash out, and the recycle out. Those things in particular are issues for me.

I'll let him know. the "mondo period" seems to be letting up, just using a pantiliner now. And I am not nearly as achy or anything, I mean no pain to speak of. But I don't have the energy for keeping this house together, not like I used to. I am normally all about everything being in its place, and now, this place is exhausting.

Did Jack's jaundice clear up after the lights? Max's went down, but then went back up even higher the next day. We had to get a wallaby blanket from the hospital and keep him in it for 3 days. He was allowed off of it yesterday. We've had to take him to the hosp for outpatient blood work to make sure the levels were dropping. I think it's a common thing with babies that are slightly premature.

i just read your birth story--it actually sounds a lot like mine lol. i was 6 cm and still at work convinced it wasn't true labor. i had my doc's appt that same day and they sent me straight to the hospital to have a baby!
