Let's see--I'll start by telling a bit about our little family unit. My husband, Jesse, and I were high school sweethearts. We dated all through college, and just recently got married on September 8th, 2007. We dated for almost 8 years (but what can you do when you meet when you're 16 and 18!). I'll take a moment to say that I'm so thankful to have my husband in my life--he's my best friend and absolutely wonderful (certainly not perfect) but wonderful still! :) We're are expecting our first little on (a son) somewhere around the beginning of November. (It was a little unexpected--as much as it actually can be). However, we're both very excited (and a bit nervous!)

Based on the conception (which I based off of my "runs like clockwork" cycle) and how this little guy was measuring at the ultrasound, I am technically due on November 1st. HOWEVER, the doctor originally thought I was due on November 9th, and since the u/s dated our little guy only a little off, my doctor decided to keep my original due date of Nov. 9th. So I'm just going to start saying--I'm due somewhere around the beginning of November! :)

Well, my profile was getting ENTIRELY too long, so I decided to move all of my previous posts to blog form! So I suppose from this point forward I'll just post blogs with updates from my week!

Not sure what her childbearing "plan" is. I don't really ask questions. More just listen! I don't necessarily know if there's a "right" age to have kids...

I think all the grandparents are excited, though. That's great that your mother-in-law is still so excited!

Oh, see this is my sister in law's 3rd, but she says she's having at least 6 and has made a strong point of telling me that she thinks everyone should have their children before they are 30 (I turn 30 in a few months...). This is among other issues that she has a strong and very close-minded stance on. So I can tolerate her and take her with a grain of salt, but no we're definitely not friends. Similar to you, though, I just kind of sit back and let her get on her soapbox! Whatever, it's the first grandchild for my parents so they are very excited and we're thrilled of course!

That's funny! We're both having girls. But no, it's not her first. It's her 3rd girl. She just turned 27 and I'm 29 and she has made multiple comments to me about how late I am to be having kids, so hence the wanting to get highlights and searching all over for a flattering maternity dress! Congrats on your pregnancy. Do you and your sis-in-law get along well?

Sorry it took me SOOO long to get back to you, but I went back to Seattle for about 3 weeks and was busy seeing friends and family almost every minute of every day (it was GREAT!).

awww thanks! my friend did them. she has this awesome camera and plus it was free! we went to jcpennys today to get her one month pictures done and it costed us $80!!! doubt we'll do that every month like we planned. maybe just 6 months and then of course when she's a year old.
yea, the breastpump can totally be a used one! i was grossed out by the thought of someone posting that on craigslist too but now that we have one i completely understand how. you connect these little tubes to the machine part and that part goes into the shields but never touch any milk. its 100% sanitary!!

lol i got some weight watchers bars like that with just 100 calories and did the same... but not only that, i never finished the box because they didn't taste right and i wanted something richer and creamier = fattier!!! LOL.

ohhh i am getting so bad at it. eating bad food late at night!!!!!!! i was good the first four months then i have no idea what happened to me this month! i eat fruits at night too though but sometimes i just can't hold my 'bad' cravings!
