My profile

Let's see--I'll start by telling a bit about our little family unit. My husband, Jesse, and I were high school sweethearts. We dated all through college, and just recently got married on September 8th, 2007. We dated for almost 8 years (but what can you do when you meet when you're 16 and 18!). I'll take a moment to say that I'm so thankful to have my husband in my life--he's my best friend and absolutely wonderful (certainly not perfect) but wonderful still! :) We had our first little one on Saturday, October 18th, 2008. His name is Jackson David ("Jack"). He has such a sweet and calm disposition, and we might be biased, but we think he's absolutely precious! :)

Well, my profile was getting ENTIRELY too long, so I decided to move all of my previous posts to blog form! So I suppose from this point forward I'll just post blogs with updates from my week!

30 weeks makes my head spin to even think about! My sister-in-law is doing great! She had her baby by c section. Her little girl is almost 7 weeks old now and super precious! They came into town last week for her to be blessed at church. When I held her, my baby kicked her from in my belly. Lol! Keep in touch! I guess now the serious countdown begins!

well my husband and I are best friends and we tend to not name call or be mean in general. So with the added pregnancy it actually made him a little more sensitive to my needs. It's nice to have somebody that doesnt expect anything of you and tries to help you during a huge change. Glad to hear your guy does the same for you :)

aw thanks... i haven't taken any recent pictures for awhile. maybe i will soon so i can change the profile pic again. so another 9 weeks left... doesn't sound like a lot when i say that but when i put them into months (more than 2 months) it sounds sooo long! LOL. i have my appt this friday so i think i may get a c-section date. i'm getting so many BH's esp at night... it's annoying! are u getting any? i never did my first time though.

I get that hard feeling too, and sometimes my belly gets bigger where it's hard for a few minutes-- just like he's stretching, lol! I've wondered about the Braxton Hicks thing myself, and I wonder just what exactly it really is supposed to feel like and what we're supposed to do when we get them.

I'm doing really well, thanks! Benj and I were just talking about how blessed we are to be having such a healthy first pregnancy. I'm glad to hear your 30 week check up went well! I can't believe we're so far along already! Time seems to be going soooo slow for me lately but then when I look at the date I have to wonder where the time went!
