Let's see--I'll start by telling a bit about our little family unit. My husband, Jesse, and I were high school sweethearts. We dated all through college, and just recently got married on September 8th, 2007. We dated for almost 8 years (but what can you do when you meet when you're 16 and 18!). I'll take a moment to say that I'm so thankful to have my husband in my life--he's my best friend and absolutely wonderful (certainly not perfect) but wonderful still! :) We had our first little one on Saturday, October 18th, 2008. His name is Jackson David ("Jack"). He has such a sweet and calm disposition, and we might be biased, but we think he's absolutely precious! :)

Well, my profile was getting ENTIRELY too long, so I decided to move all of my previous posts to blog form! So I suppose from this point forward I'll just post blogs with updates from my week!

took madisyn to the pedi.....she's on oralyte for the next 24 hours (with little to no formula) and if she still has a fever and diarrhea tomorrow, then IV fluids in the hospital will be administered and we'll talk about admitting her for a couple days to monitor her. thanks for tall of the input....

sorry i haven't been on to respond to anyone for the last few days. i have a very important question, tho.....do u think it's normal for my 3 and a half month old to have a temp of 102+???? I took madisyn to the ER friday because she was weak, throwing up, diarrhea, her eyes were really red and tearing when she wasn't crying, and her temp was 102.4..... The ER dr said it was OK and told me to give her pedialite and keep her hydrated and it should run it's course in a couple days. At 4 this morning, her temp was still 102.1...... does this sound normal? He didn't run any tests, just listened to her..... Do you think I should take her to the pedi dr anyway?

I want to thank all of you for all your support in this pregnancy. It is because of this support that I continue to be positive and believe that everything is going to be alright this time around. Words cannot truly express how much your kind words mean to me

yup everything's going fine! my hubby leaves for two weeks so my mom's coming this weekend until Dec. 20th! a VERY long stay but i'm sure it'll be very much needed! yeah i gained like 37 with my first so i'm not too worried about it (although last time i was eating LOTS of junk compared to this time i think) but it's ok because i lost the weight anyway. it's hard work but what can we do! :) i know some girls who gain like 20 pounds and cry about it being too much and i'm like, RIGHT! haha. yeah i i wouldn't mind if she wanted to come out in the next 3 weeks either....... but like u said, i really doubt it. i went over 2 days the last time. but my c-section is Nov. 5th so that's 39 weeks. atleast there's no guessing game this time... sadly... how ironic!

Hi, thanks for the responses to my babyshower situation. At this point, My husband and bff are salvaging the shower the best they can. My bff is going to host everything and providing the cake and my husband purchased decorations and favors yesterday, along with us providing the food. We simply have decided to do Rigatoni, salad, chips and dip, pop and a veggie tray. It will still be at my home this Sun. I want to let all of you know that my posted comments on here about the shower were not completely all about the shower; it was the fact that my dad and stepmom hurt me and besically said screw you we don't want to be apart of your life anymore go pick up the pieces from the shower we had planned for you. My husband and I have decided to not reconcile with these people and the cut them out of our lives permanently. My dad had hurt me alot over the years and I just can't subject myself to his dysfunction anymore. I will enjoy my new baby and my own family( hubby and kids) as I have always done as I have said before my husband and I don't really have family from either side; we have both come from pretty bad backgrounds. Anyway, I am super excited about my new baby boy making his arrival very soon; I am 33 weeks today and he could be born as early as 3 1/2 weeks from today if I deliver him at the same time as I did my firstborn Zach and my daughter Alexandra was a 37 1/2 weeker, so maybe at the most I have 4 1/2 weeks left? I'll just have to wait and see I guess. I have definately been having alot of pressure and increased braxton hicks, also my midwife thinks I will deliver early too???? Thank you all for your support and friendship on here and baby dust to you all.
