The picture was taken when I was 5 months and it looks a little funny here! It's stretched a bit and I'm not actually that big yet!
Let's see...I work full-time at a Realty Company, but Saturday will be my last day. I'm finally going to be able to get things done around the house and rest. I have a BA in Biology and right before the baby is due I'm going to start submitting my resume to different places. I would love to be a Field Research Biologist but at this point I'll take a job that pays good and just keep looking for my dream job on the side.
TJ and I have been together, off and on, for over a year and we just moved into a very nice townhouse on Oct 1. We're really excited about the baby coming and I can't wait to start decorating the room, luckily the people before us painted the room the exact color I wanted....pale green. TJ on the other hand is not looking forward to dragging everything upstairs...haha...pregnancy does work to your benefit when moving furniture. *To update, the nursery has been completed, except for hanging a few pictures*
Here's a picture of TJ and I at our baby shower, November 13.

I thought I would share a picture of our 9 month old four-legged baby, Dakota. We are really concerned about how she is going to react when the baby is born. She's extremely active, jumps alot, and will nip at your face...all of the things that a baby doesn't need. We put her in obedience training but it was during my first trimester and honestly I was too tired to be bothered with it. I guess we will see what happens when the baby comes.

Went to this website... http://www.justmommies.com/quizzes/labor_prediction_quiz.php and this is the prediction of my labor...
I know you were hoping we weren't going to say this, but don't expect this baby to come early. Your baby is nice and comfy tucked away in your womb and has no interest in joining the rest of the world. We predict your baby will be born after its due date. Your baby will most likely be born in the morning. Justmommies predicts that your baby will weigh approximately 7.3 pounds and that your labor will be about 12 hours long.
....I guess we'll see how this prediction holds up in a couple of months....lol
Update 12/20
I went to the doctor today. Everything looks great! She weighs right around 5lbs and is head down but not facing the right direction. I'm just glad she finally made it to the head down position! We still didn't get any good US pictures but we were told she was doing GREAT!!!
Also we finally got all the furniture moved upstairs...and when I say we, I mean TJ and his friends...I sat on the couch! This weekend we should have the car ready to go with the car seat, the hospital bag ready to go, and the nursery ready to go. I was nervous I wouldn't get everything done but it looks like I will and that makes me happy!
Update 12/29
Well, I couldn't sleep again! My hip is starting to hurt really bad so now I'm forced to lay on one side throughout the night, which I can't do so I end up staying awake part of the night. Not too much longer though! I go for my first pelvic exam on Jan. 3. Nervous about it but I can't wait to see wait they say.
Here's the great news....on Christmas Eve my sister announced she is pregnant again, 2 months. She already has a little boy Dylan, who will be 1 yrs old in a month. With her being pregnant, that makes 4 children being born into our family this year. 2 of TJ's brothers are expecting too....Mark and Theresa, plus Charley and Paige. I'm so happy we are all going through this together!
Update 1/2
Last Friday I fell down the stairs, right on my hip. I feel so much better now and I only have a small bruise. TJ kept saying over and over again....you can't be doing that...I just kept responding, LIKE I MEANT TO FALL...IT'S NOT LIKE I WANTED TO HURL MYSELF DOWN THE STAIRS...LOL! Men...
Tomorrow I go for my first pelvic exam...can't wait to see if anything is happening! If it is though, I sure don't feel anything, except for a little discomfort down there and twice had menstrual like cramps.
Update 1/3
Went to the doctor today and I'm not dilated at all. My doctor talked with me about the possibility of going over my due date...NOOOOO....I'm ready to get it over with...LOL! They'll know more in a few weeks if they'll have to set up a day after my due date to induce me. At least they'll only let me go over my due date by a week. My bday is Feb 4...maybe she'll be my bday present!
Update 1/10
Had another exam today...no dilation and effaced 50%. I'm just excited something has happened since my last visit. My doctor also told me that some women don't dilate at all before they go into labor and maybe I'm going to be one of those women. Well, we see if I progress any in the next week! And I almost finished the nursery. I have to hang 2 pictures and the letters of her name....Yay!!!
Update 1/18
Went to the doctor yesterday...1cm dilated and still 50% effaced...a little progress but not much. If I don't go naturally then I'll be induced on Feb. 1, which gives me a little bit of comfort because at least I know I only have 2 weeks at the most. I decided not to work next week and I'm going to try walking quite a bit to see if it pushes me into labor. I hope so cause I really, really want a Jan. baby...there are 5 feb. bdays in my family just within the first 2 weeks!

Update 2/7
I had Kiera on Jan. 22. She was 5 days early, which was fine by me cause I didn't want to be induced. My water broke at 1pm on the 21st but I didn't realize it because it wasn't a gush of fluid. Then at 11pm that night I woke up and was having contractions. I paced around my house for about an hour and a half before waking TJ up. Called the hospital and told them that there was blood when I wiped and I was having contractions. Got to the hospital about 1am and was 3cm and 100% effaced. About an hour later I was checked and was 6cm. By 3:30 I was ready for the epidural but almost missed my chance of getting it. If the doctor would have taken any longer they were not going to let me get it. Started pushing at 4:45 and by 5:14 Kiera was here! It went alot faster than I thought it would...thank goodness! She was 7lbs 1oz, 19 in. The first day she was here was a horrible day...she threw up everything and was taken to NICU. She stayed in there for 4 days. They were afraid she was going to get dehydrated. Kiera has to have SOY formula and still throws up but not like she did in the beginning.
Kiera 10 days old!

Here's a pic of her daddy holding her in the hospital...don't they look so much alike!

Kiera almost 2 weeks old. She sure spits up ALOT! But at least she's a happy baby.

TOUCHDOWN! She's a month old here.

I love these next two pictures.
Happy and then very pissed off, all within seconds of each other...

UPDATE: When Kiera was 6weeks old she had to go the hospital and have a sonogram. The doctors thought she might have a blockage and that was the reason she couldn't hold much food down. There was no blockage and she was put on rice & formula. She now holds her food down and has the normal spit up. Plus she finally started to gain weight!
TJ and I at my granny's 75th birthday party...

and here's Kiera in her party dress! (2 month's old)
