Hi, my name is Carrie and my husband Bill and I are so excited to be pregnant with our first child together. He or she is due around November 5th. Bill and I were married in October 2007 and couldn't be happier. I have a 7 year old daughter, Cailey, who is over the moon about becoming a big sister. Bill has 3 daughters who don't live with us, so our odds for having a girl are tremendous. LOL Our timing could've been better because Bill will actually be out to sea for the birth of our child, so it is a tad bittersweet. He is a Chief in the U.S. Navy and I am so proud of him, but will definitely miss him being there for the birth. However, he will be coming home in March 2009 to a beautiful baby daughter or son. I am going to the doctor on March 28th for our 1st appointment. I'm a bit nervous because I have a history of blood clots and had to do heparin injections twice daily in my legs for my entire 1st pregnancy. It's something that has to be done and I did it before and will do it again. I truly can't wait to be a Mom again and to share in the joy of raising a child with a father who will be hands-on and a part of our babies life (after the first few months....LOL). I know Bill is going to be a wonderful father and Cailey is going to be the best big sister. All of my dreams are coming true and I am so thankful for everything I have.
