Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

no problem hope everything goes well....yeah they have so many different meds to stop contractions..they gave me either magnesium or brethaline they dont know really lol but whichever one it is it worked! yeah we're all keeping our legs crossed for 3 more weeks lol! then we'll be runnin marothons to ge them here!

I know it's scary, the rest
of the women i know had it good,
i had bad sickness the entire
time, have no weight so its hard
carrying him because he's a hog
haha....and my doctor could careless
and was pethetic and didnt tell me
nothing so i felt alone on alot not
knowing, but now i have a specialist
and he's honest and great and i have
had the same issues and i'm wondering
myself......

My baby has dropped and im 1 cm and have
been since they checked me 3 weeks ago
dilated but he's now dropped too.....

i've been in the hospital a few times already for the same hting...i was bleeding so i went in and they said i was 1cm dilated and having irregular contractions that i didnt feel..then they put me on bedrest then i went back because i was bleeding again and i was 2 cm dilated and same contractions...they gave me a shot to stop the contractions (they told me it was magnesium shot, but now its in controversy that it was brethaline i'm still looking into it) they put me on an IV for a couple hours they had done the fetal fiber nectane (sp?) swab test to check for preterm labor it was negative so they didnt give me the steroids to develop the lungs...i went back again for bleeding once after that but it wasnt bad so they didnt do anything...i havent really bled since then so the shot must have worked but i was only 31 weeks when it started...they said they keep them in there until 35/36 weeks depending the doc before they will let them come out..since your already 34 weeks idk how much they will do to stop it

i PERSONALLY HAVE NOT TAKEN IT, BUT MY SISTER IN LAW WAS PRESCRIBED AMBIEN IN THE LAST MONTH OF HER PREGNANCY (TWIN BOYS). SHE TOOK IT A FEW TIMES WHEN ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE WAS WORKING. SHE HAS 2 HEALTHY 1 MONTH OLD BOYS. HOPE THIS HELPS A LITTLE
