Hello! My husband and I are expecting our first child in August. We found out it's a boy, and we are naming him Carter. We have a pug puppy named Nigel, and he is 10 months old. Thus far our little boy is measuring very large. We have an ultrasound on July 2nd to see just how big he is. Neither me nor my husband are large people, so this comes as a shock. Hopefully, he won't hit the 10lb mark while in the womb. :)

Wednesday, 7 May Thanks for the request. We are having a little boy as well and I know exactly how you feel about him feeling like he is big already, I feel the same way. We decided to name him Devin Trey. Carter is such a cute name by the way. : ) Dani1979 -
Tuesday, 6 May Is it safe to take Iron? I have only been taking my prenatal vitamin and everything else is natural vegetable and fruits and protein. I guess I need to ask my doctor if I can take Iron....but my sister's graduation is this week and I haven't found a fabulous dress but one that will do its her day anyways...but it will be everyone's first time seeing me pregnant so I wanted to look nice if that makes sense... Tuesday, 6 May That's what I keep reminding myself that I have a reason to gain weight...but I hate passing mirrors now when I walk mostly because I always feel like I look so tired in them... kflames96 -
Tuesday, 6 May Your 3D pics are sooooo cute. I hope mine come out as good. Congrats on your 1st baby, I wish you and your husband lots of joy and happiness. Do you have a name yet? MamaMirage -
Monday, 28 April Yeah I'm kinda agreeing with staceyh here. At least he communicated with you what he was feeling. Try to see it from his POV too... it might make one feel like a perv if he could feel the baby moving during sex. That would be a serious turnoff. I know for me personally when I can feel baby moving during sex it's a turnoff for me. Like we shouldn't be doing something intimate like that where the baby could feel it.
Come on, wouldn't it be worse if he got off on feeling the baby move during sex? Now THAT would be icky. staceyh -
Monday, 28 April Don't be too hard on your husband :) and don't listen to negative people that would criticize your husband......I have been married for 20 years...my husband and I are best friends...we can tell each other anything...the other day we were getting ready to go somewhere and he mentioned how much my stomach had grown...he then said he might not be so comfortable having sex....I said why??? he said because it's just the whole idea...meaning hurting the baby, my stomach getter bigger, etc... I totally understood him....we (as women) know our bodies..that it is ok, but we must see it from their view...and be just as understanding of them as we expect them to be of us....I think your husband is being very considerate....comments like "helping you make the baby" are childish...be thankful your husband communicated his feelings, in hopes you would understand :) I respect the men that pull back and think of the consequences, they are mature and not thinking of their own desires!!! your husband is going to be a great and cautious father to your baby!! good luck and sorry so long sunnshine -
Monday, 28 April I can definitely understand. He certainly didn't have trouble sleeping with you when he helped to make the baby! Pregnant women are beautiful and the child moving inside of you is an amazing experience that he should not be "freaked out" by! I'm sorry you're having to go through that! Sounds like he needs a swift kick in the behind. jamfam -

Friday, 18 April My hips are killing me too! Feels like someone is trying to pry them apart! Have you tried sleeping with a body pillow with the bottom half in between your legs? It helps sooooo much! Also...don't forget...tylenol is totally safe during times of preggers pain! cjmc2577 -
