Good luck if you end up getting induced tomorrow!! It seems so close to our due date doesn't it?? I'll be going in tomorrow to discuss induction. Unless by some miracle she decides to come on her own tonight xx fingers crossed!

Hi, I have used the Cytotec before (for a misscarriage) and it sounds like the same thing as Cervadil. Very quickly it makes you cramp and softens and starts to open the cervix.

Hi Again. That is too funny about living in Centralia. I live in Springfield. Do you happen to know Montel and Chantel Ray? Trey Anderson, Todd Holslaw, Jon Nicolay? My son's grandparents live near Centralia too. Just a small world!
With regards to the epidural, I just don't know about the decision I'll make. Guess I'll wait until I experience the pain and then make my decision..LOL! I bet I get one!
I may be induced depending on my Dr. check up on Monday. If my BP is elevated, he may not want to wait. I don't know. We'll see! Good luck with your labor and delivery. At least your GD will go away after the pregnancy. Hugs! Jenny

Hi there. Thank you for your kind comments. It is a bit unnerving giving birth so far between babies! I read your page about not getting an epidural. I am really on the fence with it. I have read, read, read about them and I just cannot decide what to do. I was natural with my son so I lived. Now I am 38 and not so confident about handling the pain. My hospital I am going to has a whirlpool tub and birthing ball in the room so I am planning to use that as a guide to try and make it through as far as I can. I am really scared about getting a needle in my spine too. I have read the risks..scary. So many mothers get them but I am terrified.

You don't happen to live in Centralia, IL???? If you do, that is where my ex hubby is from and I know a lot of peeps there. I am older than you but perhaps we know some of the same people in the town!! Wouldn't that be weird??

Well, bye for now. Write me back and let me know! Thanks again for your words of comfort!!

Jenny

Hey! Thanks for your kind comments. I am glad to hear you have an attentive husband too. I feel really bad for the women who have to do everything by themselves during pregnancy. I got advice from a friend at work who has 25 years of marriage under her belt to not complain when he doesn't do a chore as thoroughly as I would, or he will just stop doing it. So, I have really stuck to that since we got married, and it really works well! Best of luck with you little boy!

Oh Gosh - have the baby now. Arn't you uncomfortable? Full term is considered 37-40 weeks - your baby will be fine.

went to the doctor, they said as long as their is no fluid leaking or blood and she is moving lots, then there is not much of a worry.

Hi, I read your comment on Gestational Diabetes. I am also 39 weeks, and have gestational diabetes. I went to the doctor on Monday and he sent me for an indepth ultrasound to see how big the baby was, and she is about 8lbs. My doctor suggested that since I am so little, that I have a c-section, so it is scheduled for Monday March 10th. I am also really scared about it, but he told me that they will give me something to make me comfortable, and calm me down. These days, it is such a common procedure, and once you see your little one's face, it will all be worth it. So if it comes down to that for you, don't be scared..everyhting will be just fine:) Hope all goes well, and GOOD LUCK!!!!

About the detergent: I've never used Dreft detergent, but I do have the DREFT stain remover as that didn't cost too much for the amount I got. I use BABY ALL and I have ALL FREE & CLEAR for my clothes and hubby's. I know I can use that for my son's clothes too, but I REALLY like the smell of the BABY ALL! LOL Try that and see what you think. I can get it at Walmart for $9.99....$4 cheaper than DREFT for the same amount.

karinaM - Sunday, 24 Feb
I feel that way also I get up and have breakfast then sit around in front of the computer and then I get sleepy and try to take a nap but almost never do but beeing in bed is good I get some rest. I say it's good to rest before the baby get here because when they come we will be up every 2 or 3 hours.....enjoy now..

cameoko - Saturday, 23 Feb
