Monday, 19 May Oh my back is pretty brutal, along with my pelvis (front and back - an old sports injury) and the front of my one hip! And my stomach feels like it is being ripped apart!!! Yes, induction at 37 weeks would probably be good, though the first little while was so rough with absolutely no sleep when the girls were born I just don't know which is the lesser of the two evils! Ha!
Do you have stretch marks? I didn't get any last time, and so far so good but I don't know how lucky I will be this time since I am so much bigger!
But I have to say me and the girls have been having so much fun out at the parks now that it is nice outside. It is so much fun to watch them discover the world! TWINSX2 -
Sunday, 18 May I know, my DH is excited about all of our sports team potentials! TWINSX2 -
Sunday, 18 May I know, there are so many things that I love about being pregnant but at some point you have to say ENOUGH. I have definately reached that point ;) TWINSX2 -
Sunday, 18 May i will not be having anymore after these two!!!!! We were awaiting our vasectomy date when these were conceived, so that will be taken care of soon:) How about you, Anymore on the horizon? buninoven -
Saturday, 17 May Have fun at your big event tomarrow! I bet you will get lots of smiles from people looking at your cute tummy! It is 97 degrees today and I a melting! Luckily our house stays pretty cool but to go outside UGH! Who knows if I will make it to 36 weeks I am pretty sure I will be out early, they really spoil me at work so its not much different than sitting around at home & I get paid! Its a tough call! My back is doing well, its just my feet get sore if I am on them too long. We had a really good time on the dinner boat last night! Super Fun! Can you believe Angelina Jolie is having twins in august too. I hope you feel better for your big event! Have fun! :) ErikaS -
Friday, 16 May Hi,
Im feeling pretty great thankfully. My back gets bad sciatic pains at times, and I know its time to stay off my feet, but other that getting tired quicker, I feel good. Hope u do too...I love the thumb sucking pics. So adorable!! My next u/s is in a week. I cant wait.
I was told they cant tell if theyre identical or not...how come many other women know?? Is it that 1 or 2 placentas are present on scan??
: ) TWINSX2 -
Thursday, 15 May I know what you mean, people could not say enough about how hard it was going to be. It would have beennice to have even one person stop and tell me how great is was going to be!! Because the truth is, they have been my biggest joy! It is so sweet to see the bond the have with each other and how they have bonded so quickly with my other children. It's like, they have never known solitude, so they love having other people around and somehow naturally know how to share!!!
I am very anxious to find out what thse are!!!!I I hope they can tell me on the 30th when I have my next "quick" scan. The tech that will doing the scan has done all of the scans on the last two( this being the third) pregnancies and I think she is just as anxious as I am!!! hiddensurprise -
Thursday, 15 May Hi...well so far they cant tell, because it looks like they share one placenta , but they do have each their own sack...so maybe May 27th we will know , if identical or not and what sex they have....have a nice day :).. buninoven -
Thursday, 15 May I felt a million times better today! My dr said I could work until 36 weeks, bummer. Who knows what will happen between now and then. I will stop when the kids tell me to! My blood pressure is really good I check it at work all the time. We are going on a dinner boat ride tomarrow, I am super excited! Its the one we got married on! Super romantic! It would have been nice to have a glass-o-wine, oh well, next time! I have one of those super back Shiatzu massagers from Bed bath and beyond, it is worth its weight in gold! It might be a good investment for you and that back of yours! Feel better soon! :) TWINSX2 -
Thursday, 15 May My twins have been the easiest babies, so prayerfully, the next set will be just as good!!!! How long have you known what the sexes were? Were you surprised by the news of twins? twinstwice -
Wednesday, 14 May I don't have any scans scheduled yet though I would imagine I would probably have a couple in the summer as I get closer to delivery date to see how they are growing and what position they are in.
Glad you have found something to help with the back pain. How is sleeping? I am already having to totally wake up to turn over as it is getting more difficult!
And don't worry about asking questions, I don't mind. I know it would have helped me before to have someone to talk to about the pregnancy and life afterwards! weekazarr -
Wednesday, 14 May Thats good... i get a scan every 4 weeks here lol
yeah i got the Lux Babystyle twin pram lol its a side by side pram and it has 2 seperate seats which lie back seperatly which i wanted! the only thing is its sooooo big lol i think i will be "downsizing " it asap lol

OMG! Your ultrasound pics are so cute! Im expecting 2 boys and almost 20 weeks.
All the best. TWINSX2 -
Wednesday, 14 May I do have my family close, and my MIL will come stay 4-6 weeks when the twins are born. I think having twins a second time around will be easier for the simple fact that I do have an idea of what to expect!!!!
Hope you feeling well! I am sooooo glad to be out of the 1st trimester and the ms is starting to fade!!!!!!! weekazarr -

Wednesday, 14 May At my 18 week scan they told me both kids were 9 oz but they hadn't mentioned anything since then. At 24 wks I get another big long 2 hour scan so I bet they will tell me then. Bummer about your back! I am getting the dizzy nautious heartburn with a headache. Its better today thank goodness! Sometimes this isn't so much fun. One girl at work today was trying to help and make me feel better by asking "How do you eat an elephant", the answer is "One bite at a time, just get through minute by minute hour by hour, day by day! Pretty soon this will all be over!" It kinda made me feel better. My sister told me she read somewhere that diapers.com has the best deals on diapers, it might be worth checking into! twinstwice -
Wednesday, 14 May I actually don't have any more scans scheduled. My doc isn't worried much about me this time as I did so well last time. I was in today and everything seemed fine.
About the labour for the second twin... I actually don't remember too much. I do remember the relief with having the first one out that I don't think the second set of labour pains were too bad. And then when I tried pushing the second one out I wasn't getting too far too fast so the doc went in to help her out (I think they used vacuum extraction), I was probably just too tired to do it all on my own and they don't like to leave the second one it too much longer after the first, especially since she was the reason I was induced in the first place (she wasn't growing as much anymore).
My back is quite sore too, especially with lifting my girls up a lot. It was great while I was away but starting to get bad again. Have you gained much weight? I am at 25 lbs already and way bigger than last time! TWINSX2 -
Wednesday, 14 May I know exactly how you feel!!! I do not think I can handle a c-section, having to come home to 5 under 5 with 2 newborns!!!!!
Yes we were surprised to be having ANY, much less twins. Both sets of twins were conceieved while trying NOT to. The harder we try not to get pregnant, they come by two!LOL=) TWINSX2 -
Tuesday, 13 May Yes you still have lots of time!!! will pray that your son turns soon so you can have peace of mind!!!!! TWINSX2 -
Tuesday, 13 May Hi, I have boy girl twins that are 9 mos and the boy stayed feet down until the day before my induction. The doc thought they may have to do a c-section, but I went in for all of my pre-admission work up and they decided to check one more time and he had turned!!!!! Believe me I did not think there was enough room, but he did it!!!! Good luck and happy gestation!!! I am hoping for b/g again or 2 girls this time!!!! I have three boys within 22 mos, so the girl twin needs buddies! Take care. buninoven -
Tuesday, 13 May Hi! How are you feeling??? You might try the 1800 number, that was how I signed up for the free stuff. Wow yucky headache today! Do you get those much? I skipped work after lunch today because I felt nauseated and light headed and shaky. No fun! I am so bummed the stretch mark fairy came to my house! Not on my tummy yet, just on my sides! Yuck! Yayyy! Hubbys home now I don't have to cook anymore. He may not be very good about backrubs but he does do all of the cooking! I hope you had a great weekend!! mum2twins-yay -
Monday, 12 May Congratulations on having one of each, I'm really hoping we have b/g we decided not to find out but I've guessed b/g by looking at our scan pics. Both of the babies heads are down at present, so I really hope they stay that way. IndiMOM -
Monday, 12 May HI, thanks for replying to me, you know sometimes feels like I am all alone in this....have shed tears already. My problem is that my BS numbers are going high again, even though I am taking insulin. but my doctors have asked me to be on bedrest
I am going nuts in putting the GD and bedrest together. Because of GD, I need to walk 20 min to 30 min after my meal, but doctor says feets off the ground all the time :(

Monday, 12 May Crazy how time has gone by!!!
Glad to hear the dress still fits. I am glad I don't have anything this time around, though I still have my dress from last time. However my boobs are way bigger this go and my tops just don't fit right.
My babes are head up and head down, though I am not sure who is further down as the last US tech I had was really bad... she didn't tell me much at all and I never found out their weights either. I don't know if your weights are big or small, you should be able to find out with your doc (last time they always plotted it for me on a chart so I knew their percentile, maybe you can find something online?). I hope the other one turns too since I want to have a natural birth again. Last time one was head up for over half the pregnancy but she turned in the end and both were head down so hopefully we both get that! twinstwice -
Sunday, 11 May Hey, we had a wonderful time on our trip. A much needed break and now I have all the patience in the world to deal with the girls. And I don't feel crazy about getting house work done either... since I get so tired and sore so quick it is good that it isn't driving me crazy (but of course ask me in a week when the house is in a real mess!)
Congrats on a boy and a girl! That is so awesome. That is what we wanted with the first go but alas that just doesn't happen when they are identical!
Does your dress fit you ok? I was a maid of honor for my best friends wedding last time (I was 34 weeks, crazy hey?). Anyways, I managed to find a nice maternity dress and close to the colour she wanted (there were no other bridesmaids so it didn't have to match anything, lucky me). And there are lot of nice dresses in this one store we have here in Canada but maybe they are mostly cocktail dresses, did you need something more fancy? Oh, and don't go with pointy little heals (I was naive enough to think that I could wear them last time but my feet were starting to swell and well, um, at least I looked good!)
