buninoven - Sunday, 20 April
Hi! The amnio went great OUCH!! 2 pokes but the kids are looking good! Nothing funky! 2 wks for the results but so far so good! I hope you are having a great weekend! Spoil yourself!!

twinstwice - Saturday, 19 April
I can't wait for my trip. It is snowing here right now and very cold. I swear it was supposed to be springtime!!!!

So yes, a quad stroller. I don't know for sure if we will. Right now we are just going to have two double strollers since I can't fathom going out on my own for the first little while with two 2 year olds (one of which just runs wherever) and two newborns! But believe it or not there actually are quad strollers that fit through standard doorways! The one I like (though very pricey) is a like a double decker bus! Ha! What a sight! And if you do enough research you will find twin strollers that fit through doorways as well. We had the peg perego duette which the infant car seats just clicked into and it was great. Though older models are quite long, the newer one is much more compact.

We don't have an exact due date for our babes, but I had my girls at 37 weeks so I am hoping for that again. That will put me at Aug 21. How about you?

buninoven - Friday, 18 April
Ok! So I just had something totally gross happen. Sorry for the TMI but.....Hemeroids! Yuck!!!!!! I was scared and called the Dr. and she said " Oh yeah, with twins you are pretty much guranteed to get them, all that weight in there." Yuck! I wish I had known that!! Have you heard anything like that? Ugh! Gross! Sorry if I grossed you out. I really hope it doen't happen to you! Thank you for cheering me on for tomarrows amnio. I am nervous but I can't wait to see my kids! I am happy your arms are better! Take care! :)

christined - Thursday, 17 April
Hi im Christine from Ireland due same date with my 3rd child i have 2 girls aged 5 and 2.

twinstwice - Thursday, 17 April
Hey... just less then two weeks until we go, I can't wait! It will be such a nice break.

We have our detailed scan next Wednesday so hopefully the babes cooperate and we take a peek at what sex they are! It will help with getting the crib sheets, curtains, and blankets made. Hopefully we can get the rest of the stuff second hand. I am in the midst of looking for a quad stroller... yikes... that will cost me a pretty penny so hopefully everything else will come used. That is what we did for the most part with the girls and I am so glad we did, it helped us save so much money, and most of the stuff was like new anyways.

The itching is better, thank goodness! But my legs are pretty scarred up now. Hopefully the sun will fix that.

twinstwice - Thursday, 17 April
Hey, thanks for the advice on the baby oil. I ended up using a cream that I have for my girls that is more like vaseline with lavender and it worked wonders.

I still haven't gone bathing suit shopping. One problem... I am fairly small up top, but now my boobs have grown 2 cup sizes it makes buying tops a little more difficult (I have been wearing bras that I got when I was nursing last time for over a month now! I hate to see how big I will be by the end of it this time).

buninoven - Wednesday, 16 April
Are you having much puffiness? I totally have cankles at the end of the day and sausage fingers!!! I am happy that your numb arms are easing up a bit. I am starting to get nervous for fridays amnio.Iput some new pictures up. Take care!!

shyatt80 - Tuesday, 15 April
I can't wait until I start getting my energy back! We plan to move the end of June. I am not really looking forward to it. But I will be happy to get out of this small flat.

Funny, I eat less now too. Last tiem I went to the doc I had lost weight!

I go on the 23rd for my sonogram. I CAN'T WAIT!! Thinking pink.... How about you? Do you know yet what you are having or are you waiting to let it be a surprise?

shyatt80 - Monday, 14 April
Well, apart from the funny arms, lol... my pregnancy is going pretty well. I did have a lot of nausea at the beginning then I had headaches (migraines). Now that it is passing I am feeling a lot better. Only thing I worry about now is what to eat since I seem so picky all of a sudden. When I was pregnant with my son I was starving all of the time and gained 73 pounds! Thankfully that is not the case with this pregancy.

How about you? How is your pregnancy going?

shyatt80 - Monday, 14 April
I sleep with my arms under my head and I can't move them barely when I wake. But I have no problems during the day.

I hope things get better for you soon!

buninoven - Monday, 14 April
I had the opposite, dead feet and legs! If I am in a long surgery, sometimes my feet and leg goes numb on one side. Also, at night I have been awaken by my numb foot and leg. It feels like I have a big fuzzy sock on. The dr said that will be happening more as time goes on. One or both were sitting on the nerves. I didn't know it could happen to your arms too. Isn't this fun!! Whats next huh! I am so excited to find out!! What are you going to buy first when you know what they are??

shyatt80 - Sunday, 13 April
Dead arms? Is that the pins and needles feeling?

buninoven - Sunday, 13 April
YaY!! My quad marker test came back OK! I guess its more like a screening than a test. It tells if there is a big possiblity of the babies having downs, spina bifida or some other birth defects. If the test comes up funky then you have a real test like an amnio to confirm or rule that stuff out. The dr gave me ranges like for my age I have a 1 in 300 chance of downs syndrome but now with the test its like 1 in 1700. I am still going to do the amnio, now it just won't be AS scary. Still scary though. The amnio tests for like 40 things I heard so I am still going to do it. I don't want any surprises. Except how cute or ugly they are! :) Off to take a napp! ( not a diaper :)) Have a great weekend!

buninoven - Friday, 11 April
You are so funny! You have oodles of time to get all of that stuff. I am a freako and had to get it right away. If I had any kind of patience I would have waited until my baby shower and then bought things. But, no, I just had to but it all before so I could relax about things. I still haven't heard anything back on my quad marker blood test, no news is good news! Good luck house hunting!!!

twinstwice - Thursday, 10 April
Hey, glad to hear you are better overall. I too have had itchy skin, but just on my legs. They are all scabbed up Yuk! I hope they heal in the next few weeks as we are heading to Hawaii (without the girls!) for a break. I am not sure what I will do for a bathing suit... I really don't want to spend big bucks on a pregnancy one when I will only wear it a bit this summer. Hopefully there are some regular ones with a long enough belly skirt.

So I don't think my girls have a clue. I am not that big but I do say there are babies in mommies tummy. We plan on buying them some baby dolls for them to care for in the next few weeks. I think one of them will love it as she seems a little more maternal than the other!

buninoven - Thursday, 10 April
I am hoping for the c-section!! Isn't that weird! I am just so scared of such a sensitive place being torn and stretched! I would rather take them out the sun roof and leave my sensitive places alone! I am such a chicken!! It sounds like you are getting a good jump on all of your baby supplies. I work with some younger girls too and they are more than happy to clean out their baby stuff! Take care!!

twinstwice - Wednesday, 9 April
Hey ya... hope you are doing ok. I am having a much harder time this pregnancy with controlling my cravings. I just want to eat more junk food than I should. I just don't want to eat veggies since they don't fill me up (and I am always hungry). Are you having problems eating well? Any words of encouragement? I have gained about 15 lbs (pretty close to you).

buninoven - Wednesday, 9 April
Yayy! Great appointment today!!! 148 and 152 heartrates. I got the biggest goosebumps when you said our babies will be here in about 20 wks!!! AWWW!! There I go again!! This is so exciting! I have been stocking up on newborn diapers 5 packs and I think we have 3 jumbo boxes of wipes from costco. I also bought a box of size 1 to 2 diapers too. In 2 weeks we will know the sexes so I am holding off on my big shopping spree until then. I already have 2 closets full of newborn and 3-6 month clothes given to me from my frinds and sister in law and bunches more to come. I don't think I will be buying much for them myself from here on out. I already have 2 cribs and a changing table and all of the crib bedding. I have the diaper champ to put the dirty diapers in too. I have one dresser and a bunch of the white baskets with the red and white gingham (thats the colors for their room)liners to go on the shelves. I have two swings and two boucy seats, a baby bath, boppy nursing pillow, one high chair, exersaucer, a stroller(1 baby) and a jogging stroller(1baby) I have 2 car seats too. I bought the stroller and jogger when I thought I was only having one. oops! I have a bassinet too. I think thats all, plus a couple of boxes of clothes in the closet that I have'nt even gone through yet. I also bought 24 glass baby bottles off of ebay. That plastic chemicals leaking into the milk rumor made me go glass. My sister inlaw is also giving me her breast pump too. I plan on doing the combo if I can't make enough milk. Ok, so now you have to tell me what stuff you have!!!

buninoven - Tuesday, 8 April
YaYYY! I am so happy all went well at your appointment! Mine is tomarrow and I am super nervous. I always get that way right before. I think I might have felt one this morning but nothing regular so I am not sure. I am so happy to finally be feeling better. How is the house hunting going? I was having trouble on this site when they were doing the change over, but I think I've got it all figured out now!! Congrats on your great appointment!!!

buninoven - Sunday, 6 April
Hi! I just was finally able to acess this site again! What a pain! Good Luck on your appointment!! Let me know how it goes, I can't wait to hear the details!!! Take care!!

twinstwice - Thursday, 3 April
So I only have felt them a bit... not much at all, and only if I am sitting still and they happen to move. I think the average time to feel them is at 20 weeks. So try not to worry though I know it is hard. Also, I think it depends on the position of the placenta. This time I have one in the front so I think it will affect how much I feel (last time it was on top so I felt everything!)

gertiegirl - Tuesday, 1 Apr
I think I just started feeling something this week (but I can't confindently say it was babies, not gas) It sort of feels like rolling/popcorn...not really like a kick. I've been calling it the 'creeepy crawlies', I notice it the most after drinking something sweet or when I 'm laying down. I'm assuming it will become more apparent in the next couple of weeks. I think it also depends on where your placenta is positioned. We are still pretty early so I wouldn't stress about not feeling movement just yet!

buninoven - Sunday, 30 Mar
I always get super nervous before my appointments too. Maybe I am just trying to be prepared if something is funky. Good luck at your appointment I am sure EVERYTHING will be great!!!! I am in denial until next week when I have to go back. Its just so scary when I have had miscarriages I think I am just overly paranoid. What will be, will be I guess. Try to relax and have fun!!! I hit the cinnamon rolls pretty hard today! We were going out of town and there is this cute little menonite bakery and they had THE BEST big giant cinnamon rolls. I ate 2 before we were even a mile away! YUM! Good luck at your appointment!!!

twinstwice - Saturday, 29 Mar
Oh happy house hunting. We just bought a new house and finished moving about 10 days ago. It was crazy! I am so glad to be settled in. We actually bought before we knew we were pregnant (it was only a possibility) and for sure before we knew we were having two more! It too is a four bedroom house so both sets will be sharing their rooms for sometime to come! Oh well, too bad for them. Actually I couldn't separate my girls, they would seriously freak out if the other one wasn't around.

Good luck with that roast beef dinner! I just finished going through a rather large helping of kettle corn... ouch. Have you gained much weight?
