Bad news,I have caught this parvo virus off fin and now i'm ill.
Have a doctors app on tue to discuss the implications,and apparently i'll have to be scanned now every fortnight.Its a low risk of anyhitng happening,my dr told its 1 in a 1000 pregnancies that get affected...still doesnt reassure me though.
It increases miscarriage by 15% up to 20 weeks.

Hey charlotte how are you doing today ? I am great !! I went to my appt and I heard my baby's heartbeat ! that was so excited for me ! woohoo one more week to go until we get to 12 weeks !
how are ya ? hopefully no more spotting anymore right ??
I was wondering do you have in your family history of twins ? just curious ! =D

Yeah... me too. So bloated, feeling sick all of the time and SO tired all of the time. Really looking forward to 2nd trimester - it's gets so much easier! I already look 4 months pregnant at only 9 weeks - my work colleagues are guessing one by one!! My Gran on my Mother's side was a twin, although I have heard that it is not hereditary but rather more coincidence. I will be over the moon if I am carrying twins but to be honest I will be just as happy if I can carry one baby full term!

I'm a fraternal twin(individual sacs) and I am so close to my sister.
My mom had such a blast w/ twin girls! We don't look alike and are opposite n personality but very close.

congrats on the twins!!!! Glad to hear the spotting stopped! I haven't had any for three days while my cold was at it's worst. I am hoping since almost to 2nd trimester that it will stop for good.

I'm having such a nightmare,I have off work today because Fin isnt well.The doctors think he has slapped cheek syndrome caused by the parvo virus.Ive had to have emergency blood tests to see if I have immunity to this parvo virus because it can affect the baby,its only a small risk but I am still paranoid!!
Fin cant go back to pre school until Monday so off work until then.
I just hope everythings ok.

My hands and feet are really swollen tonight,and very itchy!

How are you?Did you enjoy your tea?!I had chilli and rice but I couldnt manage to eat it...think i'm too worked up.

hi its lisa here thank you for your reassuring msg i hope that nw i am resting that everything will be ok spotting has kinda stopped but i find that my urine without being to graphic is quite dark anyway the spotting is only on the tissue and was a light pinky colour then it was a brown sorry to much detail i thnk im just worrying so much because ive wanted a baby for so long with it all being planned then my fiance has left me im terrified of any little thing that happens now. ive got an appointment with a doctor at the hospital on the 6th march cos im im a little overweight so apparently you have to be checked more often i dont know wether that a good or a bad thing. congrats on your twin pregnancy i was at the hospital tuesday and a woman came out of her scan as white as a ghost she was saying its twins she was 40! and had a little girl of only a yr old already she was excited but was saying how on earth am i gona cope with 3 under 2s. thanks again xx

there is no where you can get a private scan in this country, everything is done in the hospital from what i can see, you can get a 3d or 4d scan private but i cannot find anywhere else!!

You poor thing, i know the feeling some days fine some days rotten, i have not been sick in 2 days which is great but still feel nausea all evening!! i think i am starting to get a bit more control on it!

I will be 14.5 weeks for 1st scan i am told that is not bad for this country because the health service is really bad!!

Twins are lots of fun (especially when they are a little older and you are not so sleep deprived). I have been blessed with not having too many symptoms but I have read so many things that say usually you are twice as sick with twins as you are with one. I have had headaches this time which I don't know if it is pregnancy related. Hope you are feeling better soon. Take solace in the babys' movements!

yeah the pink discharge stopped , mine started around 7weeks it only lasted 2 days and it was gone , man but those two days I felt horrible, I started praying and God heard me cause it stopped and in 11wks and nothing ! I am so glad on friday I have my appt so I am really looking forward to that !

It's awesome that you can feel your baby too.

I had a U/S today and it's actually looking like a baby now! We can see the head and all. I was SO happy. We also saw it's heart beating in the chest. (I really, Really, REALLY want a girl.) lol

I have such a sweet totth at the moment its untrue!I wish i'd gone off chocolate!Funny thing is I never used to eat loads of it but now all I think about is sweets...and sleep of course : )

I suffer with bad pelvic joints during pregnancy,last time in was in hospital for the last 8 weeks and when I was allowed home I was in a wheelchair.It wasnt fun and my midwife has told me its highly likely it'll happen again this time.I got induced at 38 weeks because the pain and pressure on my pelvis was getting unbareable...not looking forward to that again.

So what is your pram like?Ive been looking at cots and stuff online but dont dare buy anthing yet!!

Ha ha I have eaten lots of junk food since I found out!I think every saturday for the past month ive had a big mac for lunch.Its usually weekends I eat rubbish,I try to be good but fail miserably. We go out for meals you see or to the cinema and I cant resist the sweet tooth I seem to have developed.

During the week I eat loads of fruit,I have a big fruit salad for lunch most days with a low fat yogurt,but today I was abit naughty and had a cadburys cream egg too...Ooops!

I havent bought anything for the baby yet,mainly because I didnt want to jinx it as i'm not 12 weeks yet,but believe me as soon as I hit 12 I will be out shopping for booties and little hats galore!I cant wait!

You might get booked in for a c section as its twins?Do they do that or not?

If I were you I would go shopping anyway,celebrate and treat yourself because you have 2 healthy lovely babies growing inside you!

Well I will definitely let you know if its one or two babies in there!

My midwife is coming over to my house on wednesday to do bloods and full medical history etc,ive booked the day off work because have the dentist that day too..boo hoo!

I feel alright..really hungry and cant wait for lunch.And I am suffering the usual tiredness,eyes sting and water constantly.Its such a pain,I just never remember feeling this exhausted the first time.

Are you gonna find out the sex of them?
