Monday, 18 August Oh really? Hmm yeah unfortunately I lacked on consitency with moisturizing my belly with my twins, but this time I do it every day after show and so far so good. So are yours identical or fraternal? or do you not know that yet? Boys or girls/? oh sorry for the questions lol
Oh I am feeling great, pregnancy doesn't affect me when it comes to sickness or anything other then running around after 2 20 month olds its enough to drain you.
So your being induced? Well good luck my labor was very easy and I didn't need a c section so hopefully you don't either. babytaisha4u -
Monday, 18 August Soon for you now Jamie21 -
Monday, 18 August wow your belly at 35 weeks with twins has not on stretch mark on it? How did you do it? WIth my twin boys I only got 3-5 of them so I guess in that part I got lucky. Well good luck to you twinstwice -
Sunday, 17 August Ohhh- trapped wind - sounds l like fun! And your doc said you looked blooming! Too bad we don't feel that way.
I had a decent sleep last night - only up twice to pee and once with heartburn - amazing what is good these days!
I didn't know that it could take 3 days of trying to induce? When they induced me last time my body went crazy with its own contractions and they had to keep decreasing the medication because I was having contractions on top of contractions.
No C-section for me unless of course it is an emergency. Ideally I would like to go into labour on my own so I think that the latest they will wait is when I will be 38+5, at that point they will induce (or they will induce me earlier if the US shows that they aren't growing.) twinstwice -
Saturday, 16 August Hey - still hanging in there. Though my heartburn is back (I guess now they are just big enough to give me heartburn and make me pee every hour!) and the contractions I get are giving me back pain too. Fun. I feel like all I do now is complain - and I am sick of complaining!
Enjoy your weekend off - I got 1/2 my pedicure last night - just waiting for the polish application.
I can't believe we are still pregnant either! twinstwice -
Friday, 15 August Glad that the scan went well. Is that it then? Any more appts before the big day?
I can't believe that I made it through the week - for some reason I was so surprised it was Friday today. I had another bad night - 3 or 4 HORRID contractions that lasted over 5 minutes each!!! I was in tears when my husband came and got me this am - mentally drained and not wanting to take much more of this pain - it is so hard when I can't do anything about it. But this am I have been feeling better again and I am in better spirits.
Enjoy Tony taking care of you - soak it in. My DH is going to give me a pedicure either tonight or tomorrow! Maybe you could be make a suggestion to your DH too! Have a good weekend - I will keep you updated! twinstwice -
Friday, 15 August So I have had way less contractions yesterday and today - now back to normal (whatever that is at this stage) and wondering if the end is in sight. I don't know. I do know that if I get contractions that bad again I don't know how long I will last.
I can't believe it - 36 weeks today.
Let me know how your scan goes - mine isn't until next Wednesday. twinstwice -
Thursday, 14 August I am having a better day but the evenings and nights have been the worst lately. I did get out and buy my nursing bras today! So I don't think there is much left to do except little things here and there to make my life easier later. And my SIL will continue to cook for the freezer until the babes come and then she has to take care of my girls.
Have you been still spotting? twinstwice -
Wednesday, 13 August The rest of my plug came yesterday. And my contractions are completely debilitating. I don't think I should drive anymore now that they are that painful. They are so bad I just want to go in and get an epidural!!! There is no way that I can live like this for three weeks! My DH hopes now that I can just make one more week. The mornings are always better so I am in a good mood right now.
My doc was just joking that if we offered him enough $$$ that he could induce me whenever I wanted.
I have been sort of nesting too - my SIL and I have been baking and storing things in the freezer for later.
Gotta go - my kids are going crazy! twinstwice -
Wednesday, 13 August Soooo - I swear I was going into labour last night - especially after loosing the plug! I was having very painful contractions every 10 minutes. I told my DH to go to bed to get some rest and hoped that I could make it through the night so that he could get some sleep (he had just worked 2 graveyard shifts and was all messed up with his sleep). Well, I went to bed and actually fell asleep and my contractions totally slowed down and this am they pretty much stopped. We had my appt this afternoon and he didn't seem too worried - in fact he didn't do much at all (no internal exam either!) The usual routine stuff - scheduled an US for a week from tomorrow and said to come back in two weeks!!! I will be 37+5!!! Though he did say if I offered him enough he would do something earlier - haha!
My BHC are still extremely painful when they come - and to the point now that I have to stop all that I am doing and just focus on my breathing. How are you doing?
Thanks for the email address - I will you add you to my address book so you get an email when we have the girls. mumsie26 -

Tuesday, 12 August Thanks so much for providing your insight! I was really starting to worry. I will bring it up at my next Dr. Appt. :-) twinstwice -
Tuesday, 12 August Ohhhh - so I am pretty sure that I have started loosing my plug - crazy. So from what I have read - i could go into labour soon or not for another couple weeks!!! I have my appointment tomorrow so I am pretty sure the doc will check me to see if I am dilating now (in addition to my painful BHC). I will let you know tomorrow. Send me your email as I will send out info initially through just my email (I may get my husband to send out announcements). Oh - and still not much heartburn today. shockedandamazed -
Monday, 11 August
LOL Your belly button sticks out like mine. I keep bumping it on things and it actually hurts. I keep hoping it doesn't burst or anything. :o) Good Luck to you! mumsie26 -
Monday, 11 August yes i can imagine they do look a nice size, and thats nice to know they are gonna be alovely size.
ppl can be rude mind,, and bet they don`t help you neither, i struggle through doorways and ppl walk through rather help..grrr. i can see you having the twins b 4 your induction.. they look so tightly packed in your tum , but you do look good lucky you..
well i am resting now as been so busy baking and cleaning today and pains uncomfy ,i don`t know what he`s upto in there.lol..anyway take care and good luck we`ll hjave to see what happens now.. xx smile twinstwice -
Monday, 11 August Sounds like you are nesting... it is supposed to be a sign that labour is about to start. But I was nesting like crazy a week ago and nothing! My DH had his last shift last night so now they can come anytime without any worries about work for him.
I had my girls at 37 weeks (I was induced at 34 +6 and had them the next day). But the reason was because my little one wasn't growing anymore (they shared a placenta) so these babes will probably be bigger and will stay in longer!
I think my babes have dropped now. My little girl was going up and down but I think they are down to stay. Good for the heartburn! mumsie26 -
Monday, 11 August i bet its uncomfy when they move i know with this one baby and lots of room its sore but twins in a very stretched tummy "ouch" you don`t have twin to twin i guess, my friend had twin girls and had that they are both well tho ..nearly 3 now they are so hard to tell apart..lol.
ah bless i was doing under my arms last night (hair remover) and know i can`t see below anywhere and told hubby i can`t do anything and he laughed and told me i should ask him.lol..i did get to paint my nails but you know it was like hold the brush steady adn paint job as i couldn`t reach like normal, but it looked fine in the end,i don`t think the men quite get it right when it comes to womens stuff like that..lol.
oh gosh you got crutches,i could have done with them with my first son as i couldn`t walk i had sciatica and it was awful, but twins can be heavy on you, at least your going in earlier unless it starts natural? i agree with them staying put as i always say 37+wks adn they are full term so safer then, with twins hto they may be lighter saying htat i would say yours must be agood size looking at your bump, well good luck i can`t believe its neraly time, take care i`ll be looking out for birth stories soon... xx eka -
Monday, 11 August
wow big belly ! :) twinstwice -
Monday, 11 August You look great on your belly pics! I should probably take one to remember what I looked like!
Last night I had heaps of painful BHC that kept waking me up. By 5:30 in the morning I realized I hadn't had any heartburn - then i started wondering if the baby dropped (thus eliminating the heartburn) - uhhhh - was I going into labour??? But one of my triggers for BHC is a full bladder - and even though I didn't have to go that bad - I felt way better after and have had way less contractions today - thank goodness.
I have a doc appt on Tuesday - we'll see what she says! prego22 -
Sunday, 10 August I hope you get the natural child birth you want! If you have a doctor that believes natural is best than I am sure it will happen that way
Congratulations on having a boy and girl. I dont think it gets much better than that!!! prego22 -
Sunday, 10 August I agree with you...I want my body back too!!! I am so uncomfortable and I feel so fat. This is my third pregnancy and with my first two I gained 60 pounds! This time I have gained about 50. A little better but I cant wait to start taking it off. I actually miss excersising :)
Are you having a c-section? or was your due date bumped up because of twins? mumsie26 -
Sunday, 10 August lovely bump but i wander if you feel sore, any idea how long you have left as twins are normally earlier too, i have 4 weeks i sometimes think it will be sooner then i change my mind. i feel pretty uncomfy some days and can`t wait but would like to be another week at least especially as i am having a homebirth.. well you look like you`ll have your figure back pretty much like before lucky you.. good luck.. wub
