buninoven - Tuesday, 8 July
Hey there! I was having trouble with this site this weekend. Any way, Yes I am getting ready for this to be finished too. If they came tomarrow I wouldn't feel cheated in any way. Of course its too soon for them, but I would be fine!

I tried that support belt but having something on my tummy made it itch like crazy.

I loved that story about the tub and being stuck! I can just imagine!! I hope Tony had a good giggle. :)

We had a good weekend my boy gets hiccups all of the time. Its pretty cute.

The skin on my tummy is so tight is is starting to feel numb. Is that happening to you too?

It is supposed to be 101 degrees tomarrow and the next day Yuck! Thank goodness for air conditioning!

Is it very much harder this time around with twins than it was with your daughter? I keep thinking that peope with one baby have it pretty easy now. Just wondering?? Take care have a great week!!~~ :)

hopeful2008 - Monday, 7 July
Hi,
thanks for the message!
They put me on ferous sulphate, thats whats making me so sick,
having said that ive just been reading about Spatone, its apparently a natural spa water in a sachet that is naturally high in iron and they reccomend 2 sachets daily, ive read reviews on it and they say that none of them suffer any ill side effects. i gota see the midwife on thursday so might ask her about that, in the mean time im persivering with the tablets and trying to eat.
Trouble is have to have them cos my bloods came back with a low Hb! not cool hu, never mind.
Good luck woth your twins - wow that must be great having 2 little bundles to look forward too,
Take care and thanks again xxx

buninoven - Sunday, 6 July
WoW!!! I can't believe that you are in week 30!!!!! WoW! This is really going fast now!

They won't induce me before 38 weeks bummer. Sept 8th is my scheduled induction/ c-section date. Whatever the kids want to do! I am still determined to get them out the last week of august. It is still in a super healthy age range for them. It is just so weird to think next month we will be real moms. When does it all sink in?? :)

Do you have much swelling at all? I am cankle sausage fingers queen! My blood pressure is still fine. I would worry if it came and went but no, its all of the time!!

Ok, I just did the math and CRAP! I have gained 50pounds!!!!!! Big MAMA!! I am counting a bunch of it on all of the puffiness and then just at birth maybe 20lbs gone instantly. But still!!! Yuck!! My Dr said my gain is perfect and the babies are thriving. I can't wait to go on a diet!!! Hopefully breast feeding will be part of the magic fix!

Have a great weekend!!! :)

twinstwice - Saturday, 5 July
How did your glucose test go? You probably won't get the results until next week I imagine? It hasn't been a problem controlling my sugars with my diet since I eat every two hours anyways (too big to put too much in at one time) and I have even been able to eat some foods I thought would be questionable. So no shots yet, but they say it may get worse with time so I have to continue to watch.

No date yet for me. I want to go as long as possible, even if I am uncomfortable. My husband is off from about week 35 until the end of Sept and we have family help with the girls from July 15 on so I can take it super easy!

How was your class?

buninoven - Thursday, 3 July
Hey there!! Do you just have one class or is it a series? I feel like a graduate of baby university, now I just need the babies. They said if mine were born before the 34 weeks they have to go to a hospital that is an hour and a half away in Portland, that has the baby intensive care unit. Luckily, my hubbys uncle is a neonatologist, baby dr. at that hospital. He specializes in high risk pregnancies and sick babies. He said they delivered one baby that was the weight of a can of soda and it lived. I would have had him be my Dr but the distance and having him look at my "everything" would be awkward at christmas dinner. So we are staying with our local dr. unless they come early.

I feel really good so far. Just heavy. I don't have any back problems yet. I keep waiting for it to start hurting. Its just kinda difficult to sleep sometimes, trying to find a comfortable spot & heartburn. Other than that I just lay around and nap when I am at home. I can't complain too much just yet. I just hate it when I walk and all the pressure on my bladder feels like I will wet my pants sometimes. Like I have to pee every 5 minutes, but if I am sitting or laying down I don't notice it. Wich I do most of the time anyway.

buninoven - Thursday, 3 July
I think being the lady of leisure sounds great!! I am beginning to think I will be home before 36 weeks. These kids are getting heavy in there.

The scan went great, 3pounds 8 ounces & 3 pounds 11 ounces. I can't believe I have 7 pounds of baby I am running around with! I found out why I don't feel my boy move as much, the placenta is right next to my belly button and the girls placenta is on my side, so I feel her more. The heart rates were 147 & 150. We couldn't see their faces because they were both facing my spine. We did get to see that the girl has lots of hair, it looks like a floaty white fuzz on the scan. That was pretty cool!!

It is so hot here i think I am going to melt! I am scarfing popsicles like crazy!! I can't get enough of them!!

I went maternity clothes shopping my belly is hanging out of the bottoms of all of my shirts. I look like I really can't stop the beer! I got some really cute ones.

I can't believe next month we will have 2 kids!!!!!! Its just so unreal!!! :)

her babies are still in the hospital. she had them at 34 weeks. she said they should be able to come home in two weeks. maybe sooner. but she said they are doing fine..just wishes they could come home already.

babytaisha4u - Wednesday, 2 July
Thank you, well im down to 10 weeks and 3 days and rite now im hoping time fly by but im sure i won't be when im in labor.. Are u giving birth naturally or csection

b4bybl00m - Wednesday, 2 July
We do have one set of twins in my family but I wouldn't say it's common. You made me laugh about the go carting!! I went on safari when I was 20 weeks pregnant, 8 hours being bounced around in a landrover, thought I was gonna give birth early, maybe I'll try that next time I'm trying to conceive

buninoven - Wednesday, 2 July
Hi! The iron I take is called ferrous sulfate 325mg and I take one at bedtime. They said to wait at least 3 hours after you take your prenantal to take it. So far I don't notice any tummy issues. The Dr said I wasn't anemic but I will lose a lot of blood during the birth so this will help me build up stores of iron to bounce back more quickly from the loss of blood. Works for me!

Sorry, not to be gross, but are your BB's leaking yet? On the main page it seems like everyone is already. Nothing here yet. I guess there will be plenty of that later. I just wonder if mine are behind in progress.

I am still working, kind of, I go to work and sit and giggle with the girls I work with. I don't really do anything. In an 8 hour day I think I am up and around about an hour. I sit to do my job during all of the surgerys and exams, then I sit around more just chatting & snacking. I am super spoiled at work. I have this week off to just lay around for the holiday, 4th of july, Independace day. When the Dr I work for is gone on holiday we are off too. Gotta love that!! I don't work again until monday. Yayyyy!

The renovation should be finished in about 3 months, so right around the time I go back to work. It looks like a war zone, but in a good way. I have to remind myself that it is progress towards what I really want, a finished house. The inside construction of the house part should be done in about a month, so I will have a house complete when the babies are here. I don't want noises and construction dust ect. around my babies. The huge garage construction will take longer but that won't effect me.

Were the braxtons painful? WoW! Exciting! Good luck at your appt tomarrow. I have my scan tomarrow morning too. I can't wait to see them. I have their dresser full of their little clothes and a months worth of diapers & wipes ready. Have you hear of the nurse EZ twins nursing pillow? I hear it is a must have for twin breast feeding. I just need that and I think I am set with the basics!

Ok, sappy hormone moment....Thanks so much for obsessing with me through all of this. I can't believe we are getting so close to the end, at least with the pregnancy part of all of this. Awww! :)

Z.Q.Jackson - Wednesday, 2 July
yeah. it was hot here too. UK weather is so unpredictable!! Never know what the day brings. my bump seems like its getting lower & lower each week! how are you doing with mood swings? i have them really bad lately..i think im just getting so anxious.

TWINSX2 - Wednesday, 2 July
Hi, we are doing pretty good! My back has been acting up lately, but I have had the PSD with my last two pregnancies so I figured at somepoint it would flare up this time also!
How are you doing? You are entering the last stages! are you thrilled and ready? I can't wait to deliver these babies! I want to carry them until atleast 36 weeks but am anxiously awaiting! They are bigger than my last set at this point, so I guess thats why my back is already bothering me;)
Hope all is well with you.Take care.

b4bybl00m - Wednesday, 2 July
I would still like twins, but I think the chances of that happening are slim, and it means I would only have to go through pregnancy one more time .....bonus! I'm starting to get a bit nervous about the birth, I've only just started thinking about it recently, more a fear of the unknown I guess as I have no idea what to expect!! Good for you for trying to go natural. I heard once the first one is out the second comes easy, that might be completely wrong of course!! Where are you in the UK?

babytaisha4u - Tuesday, 1 July
Hi, congrats on ur pregnancy .. Good luck

b4bybl00m - Tuesday, 1 July
The heat is unbearable, I keep passing out and feel like crap most of the time because my head is all over the place. In the first trimester I used to say to my boyfriend that next time I hope we have twins (as we plan on having 3 and this is our first) so i don't have to go through pregnancy 3 times. I kinda still think that now but when i think what you may be going through .....maybe not!! Are you scheduled a c section, and do you plan on going as full term as you can?

Z.Q.Jackson - Tuesday, 1 July
same thing happened to me too at 29 weeks. i had to stay in the hospital for 3 nights because it kept coming back...& would get stronger & longer..but eventually they tapered off in the night. now when they come i just sit it out...& breathe. im pretty sure ill know when its the REAL thing.

i need to be organized too..i try to be...but im definately not lol.

we were in a two bedroom also...we moved into a 3..& its okay. i miss our old house though. i was thinkin we shouldve just had them room in with us..but i guess the move was kind of necessary for the extra room.

b4bybl00m - Tuesday, 1 July
You feeling the heat too, I'm going insane. How the hell you're managing to carry twins I have no idea ....hats off to you girl!!

charlotte74 - Tuesday, 1 July
Fingers crossed changing your diet will helpout ....... but i'm sure you eat healthy anyway.

Nope no date all they have said is that they aim to delivery the twins at 37 weeks and everytime i go to see my consultant i always ask again and he says yes! so 7 weeks 4 days to go i can't wait..... mind you i thought they were coming last night i was having really strong braxton hicks think i need to start washing all their babygrows and get their bag packed!!!

Let me know if they give you a date... i have probably asked before but are opting for a c section?

I am not looking forward to the next few weeks but trying to forget about it i am also starting to get nervous about the delivery we start twins antenatel tomorrow night so hopefully that will answer alot of my questions!!!

xxx

kerri - Tuesday, 1 July
Thanks, I found the website. are you in the US? It looks like this stroller is only available in the UK. It reminds me of the Bugaboo, which is the stroller I have for my son. Obviously, this won't work for the new babies.

buninoven - Tuesday, 1 July
Oh yuck, my Dr just put me on the iron suppliments too! She said I wasn't anemic from my blood tests but it may help with the dizziness. Sometimes I feel so dizzy I feel like I have been drinking, but of course I hadn't. I get out of breath easily too. I am starting to look more forward to the end of the next 8 weeks! :)

My hubby and I were stocking up on diapers and we did the math, if they go through 8 diapers each a day, in a month we will have changed 448 diapers!!!!! We went on diapers.com and stocked up. They are fairly reasonable, cheaper than in the store, and if you spend over $50 you get free shipping. With twins that was easy to do! I hear that they go through 8-10 diapers a day! That seems like a lot of poo!

Your little girl is already a lady and not showing off her stuff. One less thing to worry about! :)

The renovation starts any day now! yayyy!! Good luck with the closing of your house!! Its so exciting! I am so happy for you! :)

Z.Q.Jackson - Tuesday, 1 July
i had my appointment today..still didnt talk to me about an induction date...i was planning to ask..but i really didnt want to talk about it..& talk about a date..itll only make time slow down for me. lol. but it wasnt my regular doctor that saw me today...so even if i did ask ill get two different informations..my doc told me i could deliver there at 35 weeks..this doc says 36 weeks or else they would refer me to the other hospital i get seen at..because it has a nicu...& the one here doesnt.

but nope! i still havent packed my bags..! bad i know! i always find myself to be a last minute person...i didnt pack my bags with my first until i went into labor...my water broke..& i was like oh shoot! i dont have our bag packed! lol. all their stuff is washed though.

ive been having a "dont bother me" past few days. ive been walkin around the house mad at the world. haha. i havent cleaned a thing these last two days..ive just been tired..so tonight & tomorrow ill start my cleaning...& finish up the twins room. do you have their room done already?

twinstwice - Monday, 30 June
Hey, I had my appointment today and all I have to do this week is monitor my sugars at home and watch my diet - no real drastic changes to what I have been eating already. I just have to avoid those sugar cravings! They have been way better now than the first trimester so I should be ok. If I can't monitor my sugar levels with diet then I will probably be put on medication. I hope you don't have to do this - just a pain to keep track of everything.

Did you get a date that you will be induced? I have my next doc appointment on Wednesday so we will see how things are going (it will have been four weeks since my last one).

I am getting out of breath too. I guess just normal with the more space they take up. I don't think these last weeks are going to be much fun.
