12.2 hours ago Thanks for the comment on the the vitamins. I was going to try them at night but I decided to try them out once more in the morning and for the past two days it hasn't been that bad. I guess I just had to get it into my system. Hope your feeling fine and have a great weekend.

Wednesday, 23 July Oh, that sound so nice! I'd love to have a baby shower! It's just not fair!! Do people buy gifts when the baby is born or is that it? x *babylicious* -
Tuesday, 22 July I am not sure about Canada, but here in the UK there are definately no baby showers!
It is just unheard of here. If I was to tell my friends and family I wanted a baby shower, I would feel awkward expecting them to buy me baby things. And I think that secretly they would think I just wanted it to get all the baby stuff and they'd propably think it was cheeky of me to ask.!
In the USA, do friends and family normally buy stuff for the baby once it is born? What kind of things get bought at a baby shower? Is it just things that other people choose or do you give them a list of stuff to choose from?
It's custom here, to buy the baby a gift as soon as it is born. People normally buy clothes or a teddy, something like that. But nobody ever buys gifts before. xx jobird -
Tuesday, 22 July Cher - the measurement is not as accurate as we'd all like it to be! My doc says that as long as its about 2 inches above or below your week number, it's fine. I'll be 40 weeks on Wed and I'm measuring at 41cms right now. But was always a consistent 4 to 5 cms above where I should have been.

Monday, 21 July Measurements dont really mean much I got a friend had her baby and a few days before that she was measuring 34 weeks but she was 37 weeks. Its all about how the baby is laying and stuff. I was measuring like 39 weeks when i was only 37 weeks and i had a 7lbs 1.2oz baby so it doesnt mean your baby is small or big. They just do it to make sure your growing not really to see how far along you are. soon2bmommyG -
Monday, 21 July I don't think the measurements mean too much. I have measured exactly on track the whole time and I'm now overdue. One of my ultrasounds actually estimated an even earlier due date than what I measured. It's all just estimates. jennmlam -
Monday, 21 July i always measured 1cm behind with my first baby and delivered right on time! knockduppp -
Monday, 21 July YES! i have measured small all along, and now I'm overdue! jenndmamma -
Monday, 21 July Yes, definitely dont worry about it. My baby was measuring small at 32 weeks but I think she has tipped the scales now that she has been incubating for 41.2 weeks. the baby will come when he is ready. Dont worry about it hon.

Monday, 21 July Don't worry AT ALL about the belly measurements! Mine have been way off! At about 6 months, I was measuring big, so we had an ultrasound only to find out that the baby was average sized. Then a month later I was measuring small and had another ultrasound to find out, yet again, that he was average! It seems that how you carry the baby determines the size of your belly. Hope this helps!

Monday, 21 July My Doctor always says that it's give or take 3 cm. So, you're fine. Sweet Baby -
Monday, 21 July Hi. I saw your post in week 40. My mom always measured small with all 8 of us, but everyone came on the due date. So I don't think that it should make that much of a difference, but then again, I'm not a doctor. God bless! Sarah bambina2come -
Monday, 21 July It's completley normal to measure a week or two ahead or behind. I have always measured a week behind. This week I'm measuring two weeks ahead, don't worry. U will stick with the original due date that the dr. gave u at ur first appointment, unless they tell ya else wise, good luck.

Monday, 21 July i always measured smaller than i was, and my daughter was 2 days early so don't worry:) pregoteacherorlando -
Monday, 21 July Congrats on the pregnancy!! I always measured small. Today's my due date and my baby isn't here yet.
I don't know if the measurement has anything to do with when you are due, but I know that when your baby is ready to come... he will come. The waiting and anticipation is definitely the hardest part. You'll get through it though, and you'll have the greatest gift on earth when it's all over. These next few months will fly by, and then when you're 38 weeks it will feel never ending. Believe me! Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

Wednesday, 16 July So glad to know it is not just me. I think he tires but he is from a family that does not show there love and emotions so Somedays I feel like I am fighting two battles. ferma -
Tuesday, 15 July Me too... I feel bad saying this but it will be nice when it is just me calling the shots again. What have you found for different types of protein, I am up for suggestions. If that will curb my eating I will try it. ferma -
Tuesday, 15 July I will give it a shot on the protein. I like chicken so i guess I could fill up on that. However, I don't think it is possible that I drink more water. I don't drink anything but water and Milk. I drink almost a gallon of water a day. You wouldn't believe how many trips to the bathroom that equals.
