lol Thanks you a mess! yeah he is kind of big I think its all head though cause his daddy got a huge dome lol. But either October or November Im going to be ready to rock and roll lock and load... Im now ready to start shopping and I would love to start his room but Im getting ready to get my house done over so I cant do anything kind of mad about that but it can wait. As soon as I told my family what I was having they were all out shopping. Im like dont forget mommy needs too lol.

Sure, I am 39 so mine may be a little different from yours but here's how mine went!! First I had genetic councelsing..she just asked a bunch of questions about family history of downs etc. That took about 20 minutes. Then I had the ultrasound...same as any other it just took longer and got to see the baby for about 45 minutes. They look at the heart to make sure all the chambers are there and working properly, they check the brain and look for downs. He did a real good job of explaining it all as he went a long and he was telling me as it went that everything looked good. Then he showed all the pics to the Dr and talked to her then she came in and told me everything looked great and answered any questions. Like I said yours may not last as long because you are younger but basically it's just a longer ultrasound where they take a lot of measurements to make sure everything is forming right and that the baby measures to match your due date. So, in other words...you get to see the baby for a longer time and the quality of the ultrasound is a little bit better than in my Dr.'s office. I had to go to a specialist because of my age. my Dr said they would do it at her office if under 35. Hope this helps and good luck...let me know how it all goes!

Hey Hun! great to hear ur doing well!, haha yes of course its a boy! he's been bouncing around in me he's a heavy kicker!.. im not gaining so much weight yet, everything goes straight to the baby! hehe... im going to have my next U/S on the 25th, hopefully will have some good pics to post!

I got today YAYYYYY!!!!!! Im so happy. I will let you know exactly what they do the tech told me that its just an hour long U/S they just do measurements I guess so pray that all is well for me and I find out Im having a healthy one.

It did hurt but thank god it went really fast. I was only able to have the gas. It worked for a bit until I realized how much pain I was in, then I would calm down for a bit then I would freak out again! But after you hold your little one in your arms that pain mysteriously goes away!

Im going thru that same thing I know in the pic you can tell but when you see my in person its not noticeable. Although for the first time someone I didnt know asked me if I were pregnant and i had mixed feelings about it like EXCUSE ME! do i look fat or something LOL but then again I was happy like wow again another reality check for me because im in denial with this.

Just a suggestion for the headache....try witch hazel. I know it sounds hokey...but one of the girls on here suggested it to me because I am getting severe frequent headaches and so I tried it and honestly I have only had 1 of many that it hasn't at least relieved....even my REALLY skeptical husband tried it last week and admitted it worked for him too!!! You can usually get it at the pharmacy right by the rubbing alcohol...put it on a cotton ball and rub it up and down the sides of your spine and neck....just a thought....hope you feel better soon :)

Thanks for your reply in regards to home/water birth. I know that all will be well with you and I am praying God Blesses you in every way. This is baby number two for me and I was pushed into a lot of things with my first. I just think that having my little one at home seems more natural to me. They closed down the birthing center here where I am and the closest one is almost three hours away. I will just see what happens. I am meeting with a midwife on next week and I will see if I can get my questions answered then. Thanks again and have a Blessed Pregnancy

I would love to come and visit, my brother totally loves it there and from all he has told me its very similar to here. We havea lot of rentals with no A/C because landlords are too tight to put them in so ocassionally we have a heat wave and a lot of deaths (generally the elderly)

OH I know. I'm actually from Texas...born and raised up until 2002. Seems whenever I go home it's always in the summer lol. Last year I was there for 2 weeks in July...UGH! I just don't miss the heat. But my brother has an inground pool...I know where i'll be all day!! Working on may tan for Hawaii lol!!

no, we didn't want to know, but just the reaction she gave makes us think that it is a boy, but I don't know. It might be just as easy to see that it is a girl!
