vipbaby68123 - Tuesday, 27 May
We will make our own little pregnancy club! hows that?

jenysalt - Tuesday, 27 May
I often feel a poke too, its the baby!

nikki37 - Tuesday, 27 May
I'll be 17 weeks tomorrow, and I have felt my baby move. =) Was it a sharp pain, or just like a dull poking?? If it was just poking a bit, I'm sure it was the baby moving! Mine feels like there's a fish flopping around in my belly. =) I also get sharp pains. Some days I get them every couple minutes but they only last a few seconds. My doctor said that's round ligament pain..basically the uterus is growing. But either way it's a good sign!! =)

I say choose your date according to the way your pregnancy is going, i.e. how you are feeling and think you would be feeling then... Four to 6 weeks before your due date is typically a good time to have your shower, but some women have it a bit earlier because they know that they would not be up to it to do it late. If your pregnancy is going anything like mine went, if you had it Oct, you would still have enough time to shop around for the things you didn't receive at your shower. I had my shower on April 12th, was due May 20th....had my baby May 4th! :

superbowlbaby - Monday, 26 May
That funny that you say that because my 12 year olds birthday is in September as well....I already told my friends to plan for the very end of August for the shower so she can have the month to herself!

mommychantz - Monday, 26 May
Thank you!

Hey thank god I am not the only one with a magic show belly! I don't really mind that I am not showing a great deal but I would rather have a slow weight gain so that I don't end up with too many stretchies. I was just nervous that the baby was ok in there as well, but I get regular flutters and a really strong nudge last night that makes me feel better about everything. Thankyou, dallas :)

godsgift - Saturday, 24 May
i would go with september, not august or oct meet in the middle

Lilpeapod - Friday, 23 May
I think August is a better month. This way you will have time to buy some stuff that you didn't get from your shower. Congratulations! Take care!!

*babylicious* - Friday, 23 May
I'm fine thanks! Couldn't find out the sex at last scan, but think I might wait and have a suprise now!! How exciting!! xx

Baby Helly - Friday, 23 May
I think August would be the better time for your shower. Good luck with your pregnancy!

peanutontheway - Friday, 23 May
I would have it in august! I am not having my baby shower until this saturday and I will be 36 weeks (9 months) prego. I am so tired all the time and feel like I don't have anything ready yet for our little girl if she were to come early. At 7 months you should still have some energy and will be able to spread out buying anything you did not get at your shower. I on the other hand am going to have to buy everything I did not get at my shower at the same time, might be kinda costly.

oneafteranother - Friday, 23 May
You should have your shower in August! It looks like this is your first so you have alot of things you need to get for your little one. That way you have a couple of months to buy what you didn't get at your shower. That is what I did for my first and it worked great. Plus it was nice to have the room ready with clothes and everything so your totally prepared!

mumjac - Friday, 23 May
7 months definately!! You are just so tired, big, sore, cranky, emotional, fatiged, and had enough by 9 months. It is good to use those last 6 -8 weeks slowly winding down, so there isn't as much pressure on you once the baby is there (tell everyone you will be writing of the month they are born).
I may be hard to imagine, it was for me, but it is quite exhausting. 7 months, your showing, you have energy, the babies kicks can be felt by all. Good month for it.

Rebekahs-mama - Friday, 23 May
I would have your shower sooner rather than later. By the time I was 7 months along I wanted to know what I was getting from other people and what I would still need to buy myself. If you wait too long then you might be scrambling to pick up a lot of last minute things (but hopefully not...hopefully you'll get all you need!) It's just a thought! Good luck and God bless!

samberandbaby - Friday, 23 May
wow you are sixteen weeks and already know it is a boy!!! I am having my first but the doctors said i had to wait until 20 weeks. how did you find out so early?

superbowlbaby - Friday, 23 May
I would say August but is September not an option? Just curious....

missyny - Friday, 23 May
You should have the baby shower in August! My shower is being held when I will be 33 weeks pregnant. I wonder how that's going to be, never mind how HUGE I will look in the pics.lol! Have fun! :)

isabell21 - Thursday, 22 May
You should have it in August for sure. If you wait too long you won't be able decorate at easily or you could go before the shower and that would be a bummer.

ChristineA - Thursday, 22 May
Definately go for August...I'm having mine this weekend at 32 weeks ...this nesting instinct is kicking in and I'm soooooo anxious to get everything together. Plus I get this overwhelming sense of not having enough time to get everything ready....and what if the baby comes early?? Or bedrest?? I'll never get it all done!!

maggiemoo - Thursday, 22 May
I would do it in August. With my first we had it in my 7 month and good thing!! She came 5 weeks early...Besides it's nice outside and everyone can enjoy the weather including u!!

Amy18andpregnant - Thursday, 22 May
If the shower is at the start of Oct, then you should have nothing to worry about. You'll be in your 9th month, but you won't be even close to a full 9th month. Having the baby shower in August is way too early in my opinion. I think showers should be 1 to 1.5 months before the birth. And that late into the pregnancy, you'll be used to the discomfort. You should still be able to have fun though. I've already been to 2 while I was in my 8th month, and I had a blast. Besides, you're preggo! Lol! People will cater to your every single need. It might even get a little annoying. :)

pitterpatters - Thursday, 22 May
I would do it in August if I were you! You don't want to be so uncomfortable and not enjoy your shower :)

tangerina - Thursday, 22 May
Have it in August :)
i had mine at 31 weeks and it was great, i could move, eat, hang out and have fun...

I've finished the nursery, returned and exchanged everything i've needed to, and now i can just relax and rest for the remainder of my pregnancy.. I did not want to wait until so close to the end because you never know when the baby will be ready, and then you wait so long that you're not ready!

You want to give yourself time to change stuff around, wash baby clothes and all kinds of other things that need to be done before the baby comes :) And most importantly, you want to rest those last few weeks so you can have energy for the birth :)

shilah - Thursday, 22 May
AUG! That way you have time to get things you may still need. Im having mine saturday and ill be 30 weeks :)
