Hello!! My name is April and this is my first child. My husband and I are so excited!! We have known eachother for almost 10 years now and just recently got married last April and moved to the Dallas area. We just bought a house and now pregnant! I have always wanted a family, everything just seems to be falling into place. It's great. I would like a little girl and of course he wants a boy, either way we will be very happy though.
Dec. 18th
Now in week 14! The first 3 months were really hard. No more morning (or I should say all day) sickness though. My energy is up again and I feel great! I can't wait to find out if it's a boy or girl. Just a few more weeks till we find out. It will be so much fun buying stuff for the little baby. Still thinking of name ideas, right now I can only think of girl names I really like. :-)

I am feeling great today. It's my day off so running errands is a must. I'm trying to get everything for Christmas ready. I can't beleive it's here!! Time just keeps flying. I'm sure the next 6 months will go by so fast. I hope so. I can't wait to meet my little one. My next Dr. apt is Jan 7th. I am going to find out if it's a little boy or girl. There are so many cute things out there for little girls to buy, but I just want a healthy happy child.

Happy New Year's!!! I can't beleive it's 2008. I have no idea where Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas went. Time is just flying by. Things are going good with little Baby Maszy. I am starting to feel little flutters, it's pretty exciting. My tummy is starting to show. My regular pants don't fit anymore, but that's okay I love my maternity pants. They are so comfy!!!! Next Monday we will find out if we are having a boy or girl. At first I really wanted a girl, but I am just so excited now it really doesn't matter. I can't wait to start decorating the baby room.

We found out today we are having a baby girl!!! Everything looks great. Today we went baby furniture shopping. We found a few things we like. There is so much cute stuff out there. We also went to the mall today and I saw the cuttest little princess baby socks, just had to buy them!

Well up to this point I have gained 5 whole pounds 
Its feels like more though. So I guess with the average of 25-30 pounds that my Dr. said I should gain, I guess I have 20-30 to go, yikes! 
I feel good though, I'm starving all the time! I try to snack on healthy things like fruit a lot, instead of munching on potato chips all the time. Sometimes though, ya just have to munch on the chips.

Yesterday Tony and I got our little baby doppler heart monitor in the mail. It's just like the one the Dr. uses. We can listen to her heart beat! It's great!! It kind of sounds like galoping horses. Very cool.

We ordered the baby furniture! It's great. The crib converts to a toddler bed and then to a full size bed. They had the crib in stock but the dresser & mirror had to be special ordered. Tony put the crib together last night in our room. I love it!! I can't wait till the rest of it gets here. Tony also went and picked out paint swatches. I guess it's time to pick a color. Any suggestions???

Well this week I had the flu. Not fun!!! I started feeling kind of crappy on Monday and just thought, "great bring on the morning sickness again...", but no lucky me it was the flu. Had to stay home from work for 2 days and sit in bed. I'm feeling much better now and back to work. Other than that things are good. I'm feeling her kick and punch now. It kind of stops me in my tracks.

I had my Dr. apointment yesturyday. Everything is going great!!! Babies heart sounds good and I'm growing like I should :-) I've gained about 10lbs or so. Things are looking good. I'm feeling pretty good. I have most of my energy back, which is great! Going to start working out with my trainer this weekend and I start a prenatal yoga class at the hospital at the end of this month. Pretty excited about that, I've never taken yoga. It will be fun to meet more mommies in the area too I think. I do find it hard to sleep sometimes. I woke up this morning at 3 AM and could not go back to sleep for the life of me. I was wide awake. Not so much fun! We decided on a name, Elizabeth Marie. Elizabeth is a famly name on my side that goes back to the 1600's. It's also my mom's name and my great grandmas name. Sometimes little Elizabeth likes to jump up and down on my bladder!!! Yikes!!!

I am moving into my 6th month now, I can't beleive it! It was a pretty busy day for me. Today all the little baby bedding came in the mail. It's so cute!!! We went to Home Depot to get all the paint for the baby room. Going with the Disney Princess Theme, lots of pink and blue. We also got some flowers and pots for outside. I can't wait to have my own flower gardern! Started up some tomato seeds too. Also got a baby swing today too and put that together. I also had my 1st apt. with my personal trainer. I havn't been to the gym for 5 months!!!! She created a whole new "pregnancy" workout for me, it was great. I'm sure I'll be sore tomorrow though. All in all a good day

I made it to week 24, woo hoo!!! So far I have gained 13lbs and everything seems to be right on track. It's getting hard to sleep at night though. I get excited if I sleep for a whole 3 hrs. before waking up b/c I have to go to the bathroom or my back gets all jacked up. Not to mention I have this really bad cold. I am soooooooo stuffed up!!! That is making it hard to sleep too. I basically have to sleep sitting up so I can breath. I hope it goes away soon!!!

My cold is gone. Thank god!!!! I can breath. My back hurts though, only on the left side. The only thing that helps is if I sit in a warm bath. YOUCH!!

Well my cold is gone which is good, but I still feel stuffy. I'm so grumpy all the time and I hate it!!! I just don't want to do anything anymore. Starting to get sleepy again and the left side of my back hurts A LOT!!! Starting to feel big too. It doesnt help that everyone at work keeps telling me how big I am and when I tell them when I'm due there eyes bug out of their head. One guy at work keeps telling me my face is filling out. Well thanks!!! ??? The moron, I dont want to hear that stuff. On a good side, I do feel Elizabeth kick and punch more now. She was kicking up a storm last night, I loved it!!! It's a good feeling to know she's growing strong in my belly. Next week is my next Dr. apt.

Wow 3 months to go! So exciting!! I had my glucose test last week. Wasn't bad. It tasted like fruit punch Gatorade. So we'll see what the results are. Getting tired and feeling big! 3 more months I can make it!

I just checked the car seat. The stroller is fine. They just make you fold it up and put it through the scanner. When you get to your gate, ask the person behind the desk for a tag so you can put it under the plane. You'll take the stroller all the way down to the plane and right before you get on the plane, you'll see a door, probably to your right and that's where you'll leave the stroller. Did you get your baby her own seat or is she sitting with you? Because if she's sitting with you then you won't need the car seat and if I were you I would probably just check it with the luggage.

It is easier to travel on a plane with a baby than it is with a toddler! In 3wks I'm flying my my 3yr old and Cayden will be 2 months then. That should be fun! Haha. Anyway, really all I have to say is that during take off and landing, give your little one a bottle or pacifier to suck on. The sucking helps to keep their ears from popping. Anyway, good luck!!!

WELL I HAVE TRAVELED SEVERAL TIMES WITH THE BABIES. THE FIRST TIME WAS WHEN MY JOEY WAS 6 WEEKS OLD AND ALL I DID WAS MAKE SURE THAT HE WAS SUCKING ON SOMETHING WHEN WE WENT UP IN THE AIR. TRY AND KEEP HER AWAKE FOR A BIT BEFORE THE TRIP THEN WHEN SHE DRINKS FOR TAKE OFF SHE WILL SLEEP FOR AWHILE. JUST RECENTLY I TRAVELED WITH BOTH BABIES FOR THE FIRST TIME. (JOEY AND I TRAVELED ALOT CUZ IT WAS JUST THE TWO OF US NOW WE ARE THREE)WE TRAVELED BY CAR FOR 12 HOURS AND THEY WERE BOTH GREAT. WHEN WE CAME BACK WE TRAVELED BY TRAIN AND IT WAS A 17 HOUR TRIP AND NEITHER ONE CRIED OR EVEN WHINED NO ONE COULD BELIEVE THAT I HAD A 3 YEAR OLD AND A 7 MONTH OLD WITH ME. (I THINK GOD WAS WITH ME THAT DAY) SO ANYWAY THATS MY ADVICE I WISH YOU LUCK.....

Will Bailee and I are doing very will. Still real sore form c-section and have some bruising cause they had to take her so quick. Daddy is great. I have a hard time getting her away from him. He is doing so will with helping me out and changing diapers. How are you doing with your little one. I miss not being pregnant it is crazy but now I think she is 3 days old already. I try to take in every minute I can with her. will have good night

I just had it done at Claires at the mall. They were really sterile and careful. I had my other daughters ears done there 6 years ago and never had a problem with them. It kind of broke my heart to hear her cry, but all us girls know "beauty is pain." ha ha - no really she only cried for a short bit - by the time we got to the register to pay she was fine and they have not bothered her all day. Good luck and let me know if you get them done!!!

Hi there:) I am breast feeding and supplementing...I started out more breast at first just giving him formula at night but now I go every other feeding because I'm in the process of weening. I put him on the formula that the hospital uses.

My mom has throid issues.. I cant remember if she has hypo of hyper tho. That stinks but atleast you know now and will have it under control with meds.
See my theory with talking to a therapist is... I know i have anxiety so if i needs meds for that then so be it, but i dont need it for any sort of depression, i guess its just easy for them to say well you just had a baby and are in therapy so your depressed. But I am looking around for a new therapist.
My god... I feel like every day I get more and more tired. I wish I could find a routine and get used to it but it seems like everyday is different!!!
and oh my how alexa has changed even in the last few days its crazy.. My husband was talking about when she is older and all this stuff and i literally freaked out and told him not to talk about that because he rushes things and i want to enjpy her while she is small lol.. how are you guys doing?

Similac Isomil Advance w/ Soy works best for my daughter. I usually try to mix half breastmilk with half formula if I have to supplement and if I have to, I'll give her an entire bottle of formula. I chose that formula because on the bottle it reads, easy to digest, good for fussiness and gas. I started trying to supplement her with the Similac Advance in the blue can and she threw it all up. I think it was just too thick and heavy for her little tummy. So the easy to digest was definitely an eye opener for me and I'd also asked a number of my girlfriends who were breastfeeding and supplementing and they use the Similac Isomil Advance as well and it works for their babies. Kamryn just sucked it right up and I've never had a problem with it. Hopefully that help! Good Luck!

Will Baliee is here she is 8 pounds 11 oz 19 in long... She is short and fat. She was born by emergency c-section. I was scared we thought we lost her. I got dialated all the way to ten and started pushing and we lost her heart beat. I was in labor for a long time but aftr my water was broke we progressed great and things were good and went very quick. I started to push and from there it was crazy my doctor was pushing me on my left side then my right and then i herd him say if heart rate does not increase we are doing a c-section. The las thing was get room two ready now we lost heart beat and he had me get on all fours to take pressure of the cord. I was freaking out becuase he was going to knock me out completly and fianlly her heart rate was back and they got the epidural in my back and I had to be wheeled to the operating room on the bed on all fours I could not lay on my back until they were ready to cut. Fianlly after it felt like a life time they rolled me over real quick got my husband in there and not more than couple min Bailee was out and herd her cry and were we so happy. I was cying and could not stop but I never got to see her and my husband left my side to be with her. What happend was when she descended into the birth cananl the cord was on her forhead and when I pushed her down she became wedge between my pubic bone and forhead. She was face up. My daughter was scared to death but I am so glad she ok. I will put picks up soon.

Im doing pretty well. Had the apt on thursday., I will not go back to that lady she was a whack job!!!!
I will find someone else who can help me more than that!! Plus she wanted to put me on meds after talking to me for 45 mins, and because i said i have had anxiety for years and because i have cried since i gave birth that i get diagnosed to ppd... umm yea im not depressed i just have anxiety and need help with that.. i may need meds for my anxiety but dont just label me with ppd because you can lol.. Omg i was sooo mad when i left there and felt as though it was a big waste of my time and i was trying not to fall asleep as she was talking to me!!! Have you ever seen office space?? well if you have and you know his boss in the movie that is how this lady talked lol.. ok im done venting now!!
how have you been? did you have a good week and able to get out anymore or take some walks? it helps so much that i have a lot of apts and have to leave or i would probably be stuck and miserable with myself..... hope all is well:)

how are you doing?? have not talk to you in awhile but I am still pregnant and I am being induced tomorrow and I am scared to death about the induction. I am only 1 cm still and labor just does not want to start for me. Will have a great 4th and I will have my lab top with me so hopefully I can get on the internet so I can keep you all updated. I am so happy to finally beable to meat my little one but I am so nervous as will.

thanks! i ordered the peanut shell from target - hopefully i'll get it before the weekend! is your baby girl still eating non-stop every hour or 2? finn had 2 days where he laid off the boob for a bit and actually slept for a good 3 hours at a time, but he's back to his old routine. ah well - the joys of motherhood!! how long until it stopped hurting when she latched on?? i'm still having a little pain...sometimes a lot.
