My name is Trina and my husband is David and we've been married 7 years now. We decided to wait to extend our family around Aug 2007... We wanted to enjoy one another and build a solid foundation with one another according to the word of God! We've been blessed to have been able to travel around the world and see many different places. We cherish every moment we've had with one another and now it's time to have another blessing join the family so we have more moments to cherish. God is truly amazing and we give our time and energy into serving HIM. As a family we've kept HIM number one in our life and he's blessed us tremendously! God is amazing and we thank him for our special gift little Kaden (God knew him before he was in his mother's womb) God truly gets the Glory!!! December 5th We went to our 3rd doctors appt yesterday (including u/s appt) Doc said everything looks good -- Blood pressure, protein intake, sugar intake... Everything's on track like it should be. We even got to hear our little guy's heart beat again. That's always a beautiful thing to hear!! Pregnancy is actually going pretty well, no more nausea,,,, only thing is after eating a meal I don't feel so hot...... Stomach gets pains and I just have to lay down. Feels like I just ate too much and really I'm not overdoing it... I hate the feeling but it's better than being nauseous! Oh and last thing, i'm so proud of myself!!! I went to the gym today and did some cardio---- this is the second time this week. If I can only be discipline enough to do 3-4 days a week------It sure would make me feel better and help create more energy for me to get through the day! Januaury 7th I haven't updated in a while so lots going on... Pregnancy is still going very well. The holidays were wonderful! It's always the greatest thing to me to be able to spend time with the family!!! We were blessed to get a video camera for Christmas so you know I'll be taping the baby's every move. (Poor child) Other than that I didn't overload on food which was a good thing... I'm starting to feel more heavy but still pretty good at hiding my pouch. I had a doctors appt last week and regular routine, heard heart beat took blood pressure. I fell in love with the nurse practioner we got... She was so knowledgable about health and nutrition! The only real symtoms I'm getting right now is heart burn and headaches. The heartburn I can deal with even though I wouldn't choose to,,,,, but headaches..YUCK-- especially because I don't want to take anything for it. So I go for so long in agony and give in to 1 tylenol. Oh one important thing I left out, my hubby and I will be getting the U/S Feb 5th so we'll know the sex of the baby within the next 3 weeks! Whoo hoo! January 29th Well things are still progressing pretty well. Today's the 6th day for me without a migraine headache. (Thank God for that) those were really getting to me. The heart burn has even slowed down! The only big changes I'm having is tossing and turning all night trying to get comfortable. It feels that when I turned 18 weeks on Jan. 25th the stomach just grew over night. My husband has told me he's taken a look at some of the things in my book--What to expect while expecting and has told me he apologizes for the discomfort and all the things I'm going through. I thank him for his sympathy and say hey-- We'll reap the rewards of this miracle in another 5 months! It's truly a blessing from God! Now the 9 months of suffering --Not sure if that's a gift. (: FEB. 5TH 2008 GOD IS SO GOOD! WE HAD U/S TODAY AND WE WERE BLESSED TO FIND OUT WERE HAVING A BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY! DAVE AND I WERE SO EXCITED! Everything is looking good so far, they did mention they want to do another u/s at the end of the month to see if my placenta has moved. As of right now it's blocking my cervix-- which could call for a c-section if it doesn't move. ): Other than that we are happy to know it's a boy so we can start confessing God's Word over his life! His name is Kaden Casey---- His middle name was destined a little over a year ago after we lost our favorite brother Casey. We will make sure Kaden knows all the wonderful things about his uncle and all the great memories we have of him! Well please keep Kaden in your prayers---- We believe he is going to be an Awesome man of God and live his life for the Lord! (God tells us in His word to train up a child in the way he should go) The way he should go is Believing the Word of God and doing it! Knowing who he is in Christ and living the lifestyle God has given him! Happy Mommy to be---Trina Michele FEB. 29TH Ok a few updates, had my doctors appt. today and everything is looking good so far! They gave me another u/s and said I do not have placenta previa (which is truly a blessing) they did mention I have a low line placenta and they really want to keep an eye on it. So I'm scheduled for another u/s march 31st. They said I need to continue to keep it easy, (no strenuous activity) ): I haven't done any cardio in a month and I think I'm going to go crazy! Anyways tomorrow is March 1st and myself my mom and 2 sisters and their child each are going to Hawaii. It's sort of a girls trip. My little sister turns 24 Monday so this will be a great birthday for her! I love Hawaii but I would love to have my hubby there with me! ): Oh well there will be more trips..... Oh when I get back from Hawaii in 5 days I get one day of rest and then were leaving for Rocky Point Mexico---me m y hubby and his parents.. That should be fun! Hey more time by the beach--can't complain. Well everything is going well with the pregnancy so far, I do get leg cramps while sleeping every other night-- and that is some excruciating pain! The good news is Kaden's a mover and a shaker,,, it seems like he kicks me all thru out the day! The doctor took 5 min today trying to find his heart beat cause he was in there doing flips or something.. He was going from one side to the other within seconds! Other than that things are blessed..... Oh and when I get back from Hawaii my hubby will have Kaden's room floor done.... Him and his step dad are going to rip out the carpet and put wood flooring in the baby's room.. (I can't wait to see that) Well be blessed and ck back for more updates in a couple of weeks. Trina March 15th Pregnancy is going well. Had a great time in Hawaii and Mexico, got extra golden from the sun! The only thing that was difficult was not being able to do my normal things in Hawaii--like wake up at 5am which is 8am in Az and go run the beach. I also really really want to take surfing lessons but of course this is not a good time to do that..lol........... Hopefully in December we can get back over to Hawaii so I can do some surfing. Kaden will be 6 months.. So hopefully we can bring someone along with us to Hawaii so they can watch him.. (: Oh and Mexico was a ton of fun... ((Very kick back and relaxing! ((Dave and I really needed that)) Spending time with Dave's mom and step dad was so much fun! We've got some awesome memories to cherish!!!! Baby Kaden is doing well--- he kicks a little more than I think is usual-- but hey what do I know? He's growing like a champ in there. He listens to a lot of the bible on c.d--so don't be surprised if he's born spitting out scriptures! lol He didn't do a lot of kicking when I was on vacation--- I think he figured he was on vacation aswell... next doctors appt. is March 31st and of course they have to ck the placenta--so there will be another ultrasound. ((Fun fun)) oh one last thing that's pretty exciting is Kadens room floor is done, so now he has beatiful wood floors in his room. Kaden say's "Thanks Daddy, Grandpa and Grandma" April 17th Well everything is going well with the pregnancy, health wise! Doc said my placenta is shifting and looks like it's starting to move out of the way of the birth canal. (Thank You Jesus) I'm getting a little more tired when I walk. I've gained a total of 30 pounds so far ): I'm really hoping I don't go over 40 pounds... I wish I was one of the lucky ones that only gained a total of 25 pounds during my pregnancy! Oh well as long as Kaden's healthy,,, that's what's important! Our little guy is growing well,,, when we went to our doctors appt in the beginning of April, Kaden was weighing 2 pounds 4 oz. My next doctors appt. is April 28th, and i'll need to get another u/s. They're still keeping an eye out on the moving of my placenta. My doctors visits are every two weeks now. It seems like the pregnancy is going really fast. We just started painting Kaden's room. My sisters boyfriend helped Dave the first day and today my mom came over to help him. It's still going to be some time before it's finished. June 3rd Today is a special day cause it's the hubby and my 7th year anniversary! Wow time fly's when your having fun! Kaden's doing well in the belly.... We had our last ultra sound yesterday and it went very well! They said the placenta has moved and a vaginal birth should be no problem. (To God be the Glory) Kaden is weighing approximately 5 pounds and 8 oz. Everything is looking good! He's already starting to position himself to come out. The Ultra Sound pictures weren't that great because he doesn't have too much room in the belly. We did get a face picture of him throwing up the fingers I love you. You can see the picture on this site. Other than that mommy's doing good... She's taking her Vemma everyday so were staying healthy and having great energy. I usually don't start getting tired till towards the evening around 7pm and it's probably because I stay so active during the day, with all the running around, and working. My feet get a little swollen at night and I get the wonderful braxton hicks evey now and then. I think the worst thing is trying to sleep at night with this big belly. ((SO UNCOMFORTABLE)) I also get wonderful lower back pains at night. I just throw my heated pillow on the back with ice on the feet and I 'm good to go. God is truly amazing! We truly count our blessings each and every day! June 19th Today is Thursday and I worked from 8-2pm and not just getting my normal pains,,,, definitely contractions! I started getting them around 9am this morning and they have been lasting all day.. They are only lasting between 30-35 seconds so nothing to run to the hospital for. All this time i've been asking people what are all these different kinds of pains i've been feeling and after today I know what a true contraction feels like. (NOT FUN) Anyways baby's getting ready to enter this crazy world! So we'll see what happens over the next few days. I'll keep you posted
