My name is Christa, but sometimes I go by Christabell. I'm 19 and had my baby girl, Stella Rose, on July 1, 2008. She is beautiful!!! I have a great boyfriend who I will one day marry. His name is Tyler and he is the perfect guy. I love him very much and I know he's just excited as I am.
I had to quit my job because of this pregnancy as it was too physical to do while pregnant. I am now a stay at home soon-to-be mom. Hopefully I can get to go to school for nursing after the baby comes. I'm very into art and photography is my passion. Some of my work can be viewed in my blog or on my myspace page.

My gyni said that the baby is about 7.5 pounds at the moment so unless she comes out in two weeks she shouldn't be a buddha! Good luck!

I sure can understand your concerns. I NEVER want to have a csec either unless there's just NO other option. If it makes you feel better.....I"m 5'2" and vaginally gave birth to a 10lb boy. Wouldn't say it was easy, but definitely doable. Some docs are just so impatient and want to put ppl on a schedule. Just remember that he is working for YOU and getting paid for it. I feel you have a right to demand what you want.

aaah i hate the heat! but guess what!! my fiance wanted me to go to the hospital cuz i was havin contractions and i was like..umm there like 20 mins apart im fine..hes like just go please..im like ok sure! so we go..
well i figured out im dialated 1cm! yea not much but something! yay!lol ever since then ive been walking swimming exercising like CRAZY!!
my feet have been killing me but i tell them they have to deal with it!!

I'm due on the 23rd too and weighed almost 10 pounds when I was born. I'm freaking out that my little lady will be huge too. My gyni does an ultrasound every month. Why won't they do one for you? I don't think you're being irrational. I have an appointment in a couple of hours... Hope she's not too much of a fatty!! Good luck.. p.s Love her name!! Sally

Hi, they did a quick test when he was first born and it came back negative. Then they did some other type of culture that took 48 hours to get the results back and that was negative too. I honestly havent had time to worry about it and they made me feel like it really wasnt a big deal. I will do some research based on what you have said... The part I was pissed about was that the doc didnt even tell me I was positive or I am sure they would have kept me the first time I was there and got the meds in sooner... GOOD LUCK!

I would say try talkin to your doctor again...really express your feelings. Also I think it is great you want to have her naturally, I am hoping for the same! And just to maybe make you feel a bit better (if you end up with a 10 pounder), i have a family friend who had a 10 pounder vaginally :)

You are lucky... My baby's dad has other kids born from 10-13 pounds!!!! Now THAT scares me! Thankfully my dr said we can have ultrasounds closer to and up to the due date so I do not go through all the labor only to find out the baby is too big for me to give birth to and to end up having a c-section..... However, the ultrasound can be off as much as 15% which can actually be almost a pound, ya know? Anyway, good luck. I am sure you will be just fine.

Yeah,It's crazy..Both my boys were conceived in Sept,they're both born in the year of the presidential Election,the olympics AND leap year!!
It'd be crazy if they had the same birthday!!

Yes I did. I had her on Friday. My dad told me she was the best Fathers day gift he's ever got.

Yeah,with my first baby I went into labor on my due date and I only had Demerol (which by the way doesn't do too much and they were putting in my IV still when I started pushing!) but I know that I can do it without drugs.
I also am not a fan of 'fixing something that isn't broken'..I mean the baby and I are both fine and it's not like he's measuring big...I'mokay with giving it more time.

Those were my thoughts on my little girl.. lol.. Stubborn like her dad..lol. Yeah luckly they put a gym in my apt complex..which is free and a/c which helps out heaps.. I got nothing! Im so depressed..
