I find out the sex of my baby on Monday October 8th. Hubby and I are so excited. He has been saying since the day I found out I was pregnant that it is a girl, we both want a girl so bad so we shall see. A boy will be wonderful too. A healthy baby is the most important thing. This will be our first baby. I had a m/c 2 years ago and we were devastated. This baby is a blessing.
Today is October 8th and we found out were having a little GIRL!!!!! YAY!!!
WOW has lots of time passed since I have written anything here!! It is now June 10th 2008, I had Emma Grace on February 12, 2008, she was 5 pounds 4 ounces 18 inches long. My labor and delivery was great, I was in labor for 6 hours, pushed of 30 minutes when she was born. SHe will be 4 months old in 2 days. She is growing like crazy, she has changed so much, she is no longer a scrawny lil chick, she is filling out into a chunky monkey!!
June 12 2008. Emma turned 4 months old today. She went to the pediatrician for her 4 month well visit. She now weighs 14lbs 8oz and is 23 1/2 inches long. She had her second round of vaccinations and unlike the 1st round at 2 mos old, this time she ran a fever of 100.9 and was just not her self. She was very lethargic and uninterested in her usual daily activities, my poor baby girl :( I hope tomorrow is a better day.
July 9, 2008. I passed my RN State Boards!! WHEW!!!!! I cant believe im and RN!! Its so awesome! I carried Emma pretty much thew my last 2 semesters of Nursing school and I had her in February, missed 3 classes and went right back to class. It was hard to leave her to go back to school right away but I did it! YAY!!
July 12, 2008- Emma Grace turned 5 months old today. She is growing up so fast! Too fast!! UGH I wish they could just stay little!! She is such a good baby! She still sleeps through the night, and she makes all kinds of noises and funny faces and she blows bubbles with her mouth, she is just too cute!!

hey hey hey mamas and babies and mamas to be!!!! howdy doo all!!! hope you are all well, and happy babies and sleepy heads at nite., well as some of you already know iam heading out to africa next friday to visit me mom. and i may get on rarely when i get the damn net. but if not then you all have a great remainder of summer, i have to pack the suitcases on sunday and the kids started their malaria meds today, and again every week for almost 8 wks, poor lil roman he made the most sour face i ever seen on a baby when he tatsed the meds, they are bitter and most kids dont take it too well but my boys downed the stuff well enuff after a heavy dinner. i start mine 2 days before we leave. so mamas wish us luck we come back safe and disease free( we better after all them damn shots me and the boys have taken) shit better work!!!
iam gonna miss ya all my cyber babies and their babies. we will be back on the 13th august and Godwilling if we are still alive we will holla at ya all that week and post some pics. goodluck to all of you in all of your endevours. you all know who you all are, okay rommy rome is out.

Hey mommies and soon to be mommies! I have some news bout my job. Im going to be going to day shift well 9am to 530pm starting on monday. So the ones i usually talk to i want b able to talk to only through messages on here or myspace. Im very excited because im am currently workn 3-11pm and i dont get to have my evening time with my girl! So its exciting to be able to do all the evening stuff ya know...bath time all the fun stuff.

Hey everyone, just a quicky update. Olivia has an appt yesterday with the Physio Dept at the hospital. we got a new brace or her that we can take on and off as we please which is great. her feet will be normal soon. we had the option of leaving well alone but i didnt want to take the risk of her not being able to walk properly, there would be a chance that she would walk on the side of her foot instead of flat footed. as mothers, we dont want there to be any reason for them to be picked on so we chose to use the brace. i havent uploaded a pic of the new one yet as i havent been feeling well. depression is setting in along with the anxiety. somedays it all seems too much!! Anyhow, we go back to the Physio on the 21st and to teh Audiology for more hearing tests on the 24th. wish us lucky. take care all!! love amanda

Hope everyone had a great 4th wkend! Mine was good. Friday was busy but it was a slow day. We had a cook out and all that fun stuff. WE took daisy to the fair yesterday. It was fun. Just walked around and stuff. Got a plaque for the house with Adam, Loraina & Daisy wrote on it. I took a pic so when i get time to go to moms ill put it up. its so purdy! Daisy is doing well sleeping all night purdy much now. A few nights shes had to wake up for her nose, and maybe one bottle! But im loving it because im sleeping better at times. It just feels like i dont get slp because i wake up and check up on her all through the night! She had a lil trouble getting down last night. So she finally fell asleep at 12ish and woke up round 6 for a bottle and went back to bed round 8! Anyways...i have talked enough. Hope all is well with all you mommies and soon to be mommies. Hey Guys,
Just wanted to tell you guys about McKenzie! She's doing great, she's saying dada, calls me dama, and baba. She had her first fireworks display last night and she loved every second of it because we where right by where Pittsburgh sets them off, except a few gangbangers decided to have a major fight in the middle of the display. She's official 16lb5oz and 26.5in long. She's crawling like a maniac, trying to stand on her own, which is funny because she's not trying to use any help. She's trying to walk also. She ate a lot yesterday, she had 2 fillets of mallot fish, a banana popsicle, string cheese, and pineapple none of it was baby food either. She was just a eating machine. Talk to you guys later and good luck with your kids, babies to be or making the little ones!

Well my internet has been playing up i havent been able to update you all on Olivias situation. Its finally working so i will update you all now. her hearing test has to be redone on the 24th july but so far we know that she has low-moderate loss in her left ear and moderate loss of hearing in her right ear, also her left ear drum isnt working. they said there seems to be a problem in her middle ear. will let you all know how the next test goes.
As for her feet, she got fitted with this awful brace thing..will upload a pic... to straighten out her feet, although last night she was crying uncontrollably that brad and i decided to take it off. it was heartbreaking...we were both in tears. we go back to the physio dept next monday to get another brace that just goes on at night. so there you have it friends.... we are going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment, hopefully will be smooth sailing soon...Amanda xoxoxo

just adorable xtina how are you and school and family life? hope you are doing well and able to juggle it all with no glitches. we are cool roman trying to stand with anything around him. today he decided formula smells better than shampoo and decided to go on a spilling formula all over his head rampage, i guess its too hot roman decided to keep cool with formula lol. keep well and i love emma she is absolutely beautiful. |
