I find out the sex of my baby on Monday October 8th. Hubby and I are so excited. He has been saying since the day I found out I was pregnant that it is a girl, we both want a girl so bad so we shall see. A boy will be wonderful too. A healthy baby is the most important thing. This will be our first baby. I had a m/c 2 years ago and we were devastated. This baby is a blessing.

Today is October 8th 2007 and we found out were having a little GIRL!!!!! YAY!!!

WOW has lots of time passed since I have written anything here!! It is now June 10th 2008, I had Emma Grace on February 12, 2008, she was 5 pounds 4 ounces 18 inches long. My labor and delivery was great, I was in labor for 6 hours, pushed of 30 minutes when she was born. SHe will be 4 months old in 2 days. She is growing like crazy, she has changed so much, she is no longer a scrawny lil chick, she is filling out into a chunky monkey!!

June 12 2008. Emma turned 4 months old today. She went to the pediatrician for her 4 month well visit. She now weighs 14lbs 8oz and is 23 1/2 inches long. She had her second round of vaccinations and unlike the 1st round at 2 mos old, this time she ran a fever of 100.9 and was just not her self. She was very lethargic and uninterested in her usual daily activities, my poor baby girl :( I hope tomorrow is a better day.

July 9, 2008. I passed my RN State Boards!! WHEW!!!!! I cant believe im and RN!! Its so awesome! I carried Emma pretty much thew my last 2 semesters of Nursing school and I had her in February, missed 3 classes and went right back to class. It was hard to leave her to go back to school right away but I did it! YAY!!

July 12, 2008- Emma Grace turned 5 months old today. She is growing up so fast! Too fast!! UGH I wish they could just stay little!! She is such a good baby! She still sleeps through the night, and she makes all kinds of noises and funny faces and she blows bubbles with her mouth, she is just too cute!!

Emma Grace is 7 months old now!! She eats like a champ, she rolls over, she says mama, dada and baba. She can sit up unsupported now, she has 2 little toofers on the bottom. She is just a great baby, a beautiful baby!!!!

I turn Sierra over. I read that SIDS is a minimal risk once Baby can roll over but if you want to be more careful than not, roll baby onto her back. At first, Sierra rolled over all night but it wore off. She was just very, very excited and proud of herself. I hope the same for you! Jeni and Sierra.

Hey ........yeah just turn her over when you notice it but then don't worry too much. With Caitlin she HATES any lights on when she goes to bed. If it is during the day she will turn her head to the side and shove it in anything........her blanket....a toy..whatever. So when I put her down for a nap I just make sure no toys are in the crib and the only thing she has is her receiving blanket. Caitlin did that when she was in the womb too. Always had to have her head stuffed somewhere LOL. It freaked me out but when I find her little face covered or shoved into her blanket I just take it off and reposition it on her and let her be. Keep your eyes open but don't stress too much..... :)

If she can turn herself over and back i wouldnt worry about it Chris, she is just getting herself comfortable. Its normal at her age. my girls used to sleep one their tummies with their bums in the air at the same age. take care. amnda xoxox

NOT STUPID.......at that stage ALL you can do is EXACTLY what you did. You can roll them over if you catch it but once they are on the move its just something you can't control. You are doing great mama!!!!!!!

KalebsMommy - Thursday, 7 August
I was told by my doctor to not worry about turning them back over if they turn on there tummys on their own. That once they can turn over the risk of SIDS goes way down.

Also Buy a positioner it will keep the baby in place while she sleeps. I did that with Nathan and it worked really good. I think the one that is flat thats supported by the bed not by its on pillow I find that works better. With my second I bought one risen by the head and the support was a pillow and she was uncomfortable. But One of those are good.

at her age all is well..nothing to really worry abot...just keep things outta her crib that she might "smother" in....toys, blankets, pillows...but shes at the age where they do that...lol...try not to worry too much

hey chris my emma started doing this aswell when she learned to roll over....she still sleeps on her tummy yet. does emma have god head control?? lift it well etc etc? if so then th erisk is lessoned greatly:) if not then id persever some more with her...but dont get hell bent on doing t youll worry yourself sick:) my emma prefers her tummy now and ive learned to live with it but if you are worried there are sleep positioners to help keep her on her back :)))
