I have recently found out I am pregnant with my second child. I had my first Dr. appt today and the baby is doing great. I even got to see it's heartbeat. I am really excited but scared at the same time. This is the third time I have been pregnant. I had a miscarriage the first time. I delivered a beautiful little boy 20in long 9lbs 2ounces the second time, and hoping for the best again this time. I have been lucky so far and I have already had two ultrasounds and I even get to have anouther one in two weeks. I can't wait until my second trimester so that I could be less worried and more excited.

August 16th 2007

I went to the doctor yesterday and I got to hear the heartbeat. It as normal was right around 158. My doctor mentioned the wifes tail about telling if it is a boy or girl by the heartbeat. She said it is high enough according to the saying it would be a girl. But my son's heartbeat started out around the same rate and later slowed down into the 140's. So I suppose I still have to wait for my u/s in 6 weeks. I go back in 3 weeks for the bloodtest to check for any problems such as down syndrome. Then it will only be 3 more weeks until I find out if we are having a boy or a girl. Oh and I also found out I have gained 3 pounds. It's not that noticeable in the morning but as the night comes it seems to be more and more noticeable.

I haven `t got to update in a while so I figured I would add something while I could. I am now 34 1/2 weeks. I have gained 13 lbs total and I don `t know how much my little man weighs right now. My son can `t wait to be a big brother he is always kissing and loving on my belly. I just hope he isn `t confused once the belly is gone and baby is here. I am totally stressing right now though. We bought a new place a little before christmas and it needs alot of work. We had planned on doing most of it a little at a time but then decided it would be easier to do it and then move in and that may have been a mistake. We ripped out all the walls and hung new drywall and are now in the mudding process. Witch seems to be taking forever because we dont have any utilities on there yet. So without heat it dries slow and without electricity we can `t work very late. We still have to paint fix some spots on the roof replace some siding lay the flooring put in the new cabinets light fixtures hang the closet shelves and all the doors throughout the house. Plus of course then we have to move. I really thought we would have more done by now but hopefully since we get our gas and electric turned on this week things will start to speed up. I know it will be much harder for me to help once little man comes. It `s been hard enough having someone watch B for me all the time so I can work on the house. I just feel like I miss out on so much when he isn `t with me. Even if it `s just a few hours here and there. Anyhow though if baby doesn `t come early then hopefully we can be finished before his arrival. The boys are going to have to share a room but I think at their age it will be a good thing. B loves his little brother so much already my only worry is that the poor baby won `t ever get any sleep for B loving on him. lol I think they will be best friends oneday though and I `m so glad they will be close together. Anyhow my next dr. appt is on Friday the 11th I think so I `ll see what they say I think they will check me for the first time that day. I had already thinned 25% by now with my first so I `ll see where I am this time. I `ll keep you posted.
