January 28, 2008 - Week 15 - So far I've been extremely lucky, besides being tired and intestinally challenged in my first trimester, I've had no other symptoms at all! Although this pregnancy was planned it is still very difficult for me to imagine that in July we will be parents!

February 7, 2008 - Week 16 - Started getting frequent nose bleeds and heartburn. I `m anxious to feel the baby move! Ultrasound is scheduled for February 22. Can `t wait! Had a mishap two nights ago...going to the bathroom in the middle of the night in the dark. I ran into the wall and hit my nose, I heard a crunch and it started bleeding. Now two days later I still have a red bump on my nose!

March 3, 2008 - Week 20 - Still feeling great! I started to feel the baby last week! Went for an ultrasound on the 22 of February and found out it was a girl! It was so cute we saw her take a big stretch! She weighed 9 oz. at the time of the ultrasound.

March 25, 2008 - Week 23 - Things are progressing great up until now! She `s starting to dance much more in there. My bellybutton is turning into an outie. This week I `m away visiting my mom so I won `t see my bf for 12 days...he `s going to notice a big difference in my size when I get back! I bought baby sunglasses today, they are little sixties style sunglasses sooo cute! My mom and are going to go shopping in another city at the end of this vacation so I can `t wait to go treasure hunting!

April 17, 2008 - Week 26 + 7 - Wow, week 27 tomorrow already, whew! Time flies...but on the other hand it still feels like I have a ways to go. Our little girl is doing well as far as I know...she has her active days and then others she's more relaxed. We found a doula to assist our birth and my bf is really happy that we will both have the support we need for the birth. I think he was a little scared to be my only support person, he said it would be hard for him to see me in pain and not know exactly he can do about it. I'm definately emotional lately...I saw a duck on the side of the highway this morning just standing there watching traffic go by and my bf was like oh, she's probably waiting to cross her little chicks across the road and I started crying...I thought it was so sad...they probably wouldn't all make it. :( Anyways, yup that's the way my day started!

Yeah I was thinking the same about my aunt, I haven't heard from her in a while so I'm not sure what's happening with the flooding on her end. Pregnancy has been going pretty well. I've had morning sickness straight through but thankfully the diclectin works well for me! We *think* we're having a girl. We got lucky and had an ultrasound tech who would tell us the gender if we told her we were going to Calgary. Unfortunately the umbilical cord was between the baby's legs so we couldn't tell for sure! Oh well, works out better this way for my boyfriend anyway - he wanted it to be a surprise. How about you?

Hey there, I just moved to Cranbrook last summer actually, I love it though, can't imagine ever going back to Ontario. Now that I've had a taste of the mountains, I can't go back! How do you like NB? My aunt is in Fredericton. I visited her once and actually really enjoyed the east-coast atmosphere.

ahh nesting! It's gotten worse for me this week! But it's fun though. It -does- make me feel more in control. I wrote out a 47 item to do list a couple mornings ago! I couldn't sleep so I writing it all down helped me feel much better. Now I've got to actually get some of it done! Have a great week:)

I know what you mean about the name thing. We are not telling anyone either for that same reason. I just tell people yes, we have some names in mind but we are keeping it a surprise. If the push I am not so shy so I tell them that were not telling because everybody has an opinion and we are really not interested in hearing all of the conflicting opinions about what we should name OUR baby. You could also be a bit more delicate than I am and tell them that since the sex is not a secret you are saving this last surprise until the end.

hi christine - good to hear from you.. since my u/s were so detailed and she didn't have any prob i went ahead & got nearly everything she needs. as for the big stuff that is coming from my bf's family. they decided to get me all the big things. (so sweet) i am a veteran at this..i have 3 other kids, but my last baby is nearly 6 yrs old, so its not true when they say pregnancy is like riding a bike..

That's so exciting!! HOpefully your sister has a baby near your time so that the two of you can experience it together!! I spent the weekend painting my new place with my parents. Getting it ready for the big move in a couple of weeks. I can't wait to get everything done and set up!! Cole is super active now too...loves to kick...but I do ahve to give him credit...he sleeps well through the night and doesn't kick then...usually around the noon hour and 8:00pm while i'm watching TV. How was your weekend? Did you guys get any of that huge snowstorm?

How's it going beautiful?? How is your little daughter doing? I'm doing great...still buying things. Cole now has his first pair of little elather shoes with the cutest turtles on them. They're Robeez. They were on sale!! LOL. Tomight i'm goin gto get the first stuff for his nursery. I have possession of my new apt. so I can drop it off theere already on my way home. I'm excited. I can't wait to get to a poin twhere I feel like i ahve at the ver least the basics and i'm prepared. Are we ever really prepared though?? hrmmmm.....

Congrats by the way, your due date is close to mine, and this is also our first, its a wonderful yet anxious scary feeling, isn't it? Being parents.. Hey!! Sorry i've been a bit MIA but i've been busy and not on the computer that much. SUPER NEWS!!! Ultrasound was today and my prayers have come true!! IT'S A BOY!! So cute!! I'll upload the photos soon...I even have shots of his little feet!! His heart rate was 130 BPM. I really can't wait to meet him now! My little Cole ......xoxoxoxo

Hi Christine, thanks for your message! I read your blog - hope your nose is feeling better!! I've been getting alot of nose bleeds too (minor) but sleeping with a vapourizer at night has helped them a lot!! I have days where I have uncontrollable anger...where I jsut need to be by myself...and not to worry...I have panic attacks too thinking that I can't possibly do this....but we're both going to be awesome!! keep in touch!! xoxo
