Finally Pregnant!
After a few months of trying we were finally sucessfull! First time pregnancy! We are very excited and can't wait to meet this new person! I am 34 and do have some concerns about being this age and just now having my first pregnancy, however I am looking for any and all encouragement I can get from this site. I look forward to hearing from you all and feel free to post any information you think a first timer can use, it would be greatly appreciated!

Finally had my first u/s on March 14th! Everything looks good and the baby was really active, moving around a lot. It was truly amazing to see that and made me realize how truly blessed we all are to be able to experience this. We are so looking forward to September and can't wait to meet this little person.

Hey, and thanks for the message that you left on my page! Yes, I'm due 1 day before you. I'm feeling pretty good lately. I'm getting my energy back (somewhat, lol). How are you feeling? I have an ultrasound on Wednesday, so hopefully we'll find out the sex! I am so excited! I see you are an Account Manager, so am I. I work for a printing company. Are you going to keep working after the baby? I went back after 8 weeks with my first baby, and I'll do the same this time... it's so hard, I wish I didn't have to. Anyways, keep in touch! - Melissa

Hi, I'm in the US, in the northeast. Not far from Canada. I've lost my appetite too in the 2nd trimester. My BF has been supportive even though we don't live in the same state. He says he is moving here, don't know yet. He will fly in on May 1st for my U/S.
How r u feeling? I have been sick with a sinus infection and a low grade fever. I feel better today, a little weak, but better.
how do u feel in WEEK 16? YAY!! soon we will be holding our little ones. LOL

hi, My husband helps me around the house but I think I am more protective than he is. I am really carefull most of the time but some times even I forget that I am pregnant and push myself to do things I shouldn't. I started showing now so this weekend I must get some maternity tops. I am feeling ok but I have itchy legs today, not sure why.Have you started planning for baby showers, are you going to have one? MY friends telling me to do it but I don't want to do it when I am really big so Nnt when is the best time for it. lol take care

Hi, how are you? I will have my U/S on May 2nd to find out the gender, I'm hoping for a girl. I haven't been feeling so good, my nose is stuffy and I'v had nose bleeds - the doc says that is common. How r u feeling in week 15 almost 16? can u believe we are 4 month pregnant? WOW time flies:-)

Hi, I am feeling much better thx. I think it's oldwifes tales, it doesn't make any difference in babys sex if baby is high or low, At my work last year we had two girls pregnant with very close due dates and they both had very different shape of bump with one high and other low and one pointy and other rounded, guess what they both had baby boys. I hope you have a healthy boy. lol

hi, I am feeling ok after being so ill last weekend. I like to know what you are going to have, what does it feel like, girl or boy? some woman say they know what they are having before they find out. I can't wait to start buying baby stuff, I know it's too early yet but just window shopping at the moment. every one was really happy for me. I am feeling ok today just little bloted and started eating alot as well, hope i won't put too much weight on, may be hard to loose afterwards. My boobs are soo big girls already made comments at work about it.

I bought some maternity clothes. motherhood maternity is a good place to shop, I will be going to mimi's maternity, but I hear that's expensive. by the way, do you want to know what ur having? I think my u/s is clear because my bladder was full of water I was bursting to go to ladies during scanning, they say full bladder push baby out so it's easier to see with scan. Like you I feel very tired some days and full of energy the next.Today I told my boss and lucky she was happy for me.Tomorrow I will have to announce to the rest of the team in the meeting.I had my 1st midwife appointment friday and I heard my babys heart beats and yes I did drive her crazy, my next midwife app is on 8th april. x

seeing my baby was amazing, I nearly cried, now I beleive I am pregnant, baby was very active shame I can't feel it yet. I have added my babys scan pic on to my photos, I am seeing midwife 1st time this friday, I have lot of questions to ask, I am sure I'll drive her crazy. let me know how your scaning goes. take care x

today at work I suspected that they already know about my pregnancy, I think it's the way I have started dressing now loose long tops covering my belly , soon I have to tell them anyway so it doesn't matter. have already started thinking how to arrange babys room , i think mostly will be in yellow cos i will not ask for the babys sex as i want it to be surprise and it really doesn't matter. what about you? would you like girl or boy? will place my scan pic on to my page so you can see , take care x

Hello again, I had my first U/S. It's amazing to see the baby moving and hear the heart beating. You will be so excited and happy to receive the first picture of your baby. I was!:) I am also planning on doing a 3 D U/S to see the baby closely. Let me know how it goes. HAPPY PREGNANCY:)

my mom had a VERY healthy baby girl in June 2006 at the age of 42. She also had a VERY healthy girl at 33. I have two beautiful little sisters that my mom had naturally with no complications at all...you'll be fine!! And congrats to you, also. Just enjoy everything you've been waiting for!! :)

Hey, you're just a baby at 34 to me!! I was 42, out of shape, smoking and not trying to get pregnant when I conceived our bonus baby last year. I changed my habits immediately, but nevertheless, if there were betting doctors on what mommy would have problems -- it should have been me. So please try not to worry. I know that's easier said than done, but you have a lot of people pulling and praying for you!

Here's what I have to say about it...the age thing! I'm 38 years old and had my first back in December. And he is PERFECT! He was 8 pounds even when he was born and 21 inches long. The nurses told me he was the prettiest and most non wrinkled newborn they had seen in awhile! LOL I refused all those 'old lady' tests because I KNEW G-d had EVERYTHING under control! Go read my story on my page and see what I'm talking about. I also have fibroids and knew those could cause problems....they didn't! Just relax and enjoy your pregnancy. You'll NEVER be pregnant for just the first time again. Be blessed and keep us posted.
