My little one measured 5lbs. 6 oz. today, almost the same as yours! And, he has fluid in both his kidneys too. It's so weird...we are even naming them such similar names (Caden Joseph). Weird!

question for you... I saw your post that said your little one is 5lbs 5oz..... I had an ultrasound today and my daughter is weighing 5pounds. I am currently 34weeks and the doc said she is measuring a bit small. Like a week behind. Did your dr say that 5.5 pds is a big size or right on target? Only because at the top of the week pages the weight they have listed is right on track for me. Thanks a bunch :0)

Thank you so much for your message! I'm so glad things were ok with your son. I've been so nervous about counting kicks now. This is my first so I really don't know what I'm supposed to be feeling or not feeling. One of the things my doc told me to be on the lookout for is increased fetal movement. Well, that's just making me so paranoid! If my baby moves a lot for a short time I keep thinking I need to go to the hospital. Ugh, this is going to be a long couple of months. Can I just fast forward? We had our doppler out all weekend listening to his little heart beat just for reassurance. It does make me feel better to hear stories from other people where everything turned out ok. How are you feeling?

Doing pretty good. I have had 2 nights of really good sleep after getting up consistently throughout the night!! Yeah, whenever I take my shirt off, my hubby tells me that I need to work on my beer gut!! He's been making jokes from the beginning...about my food tooth...and fourth meal....sixth meal......he makes me laugh. I know that if he did think I was getting too big....he would just come out and say it. And it would not be funny! I have gained about 25 lbs already...and am kinda worried. Want it to slow down and not go over 30. We shall see. I've been walking lately...but the feets are swollen, more and more. WE'll see. How are YOU??!?!?

I think you are right. I was pretty sensitive yesterday. NOt sleeping well and extra hormones will do that. But I am sure my mom was just surprised and she'll come around to love our names as much as we do. Thank you.

Have you looked into the Wic program for the baby? They determine eligibility by your household income. It's worth a look into. I have never been able to qualify because I have worked, but I have many friends that get Wic and get all of the formula for free from the state. Since you are planning on waiting to go back to work (which I am very happy for you for that..I wish that I could) but you might be able to qualify. I know I am anxious about having another mouth to feed....but I am sure that we will make it through!!!!

I understand exactly how you feel. Im doing everything around my house too; cooking, cleaning, and running errands. Sometimes I feel okay because I have the energy, but sometimes I dont. I have snapped at my Mom, fiance', and sister. Hopefully we will feel better soon!

Yes, time seems to go sooo slow at the time, but I think it has been going by fast, I mean it seems not too long ago that I found out I was pregnant. dear christy33--give yourself some credit..I'm only 19 wks with a 9 & 10 yr old boy and girl. YOur kids know you love them, your hubby doesn't know what's going on inside you. Tell them you love them, but you're patience isn't what it used to be. I often feel like a monster mom when I lose my patience. period! It'll almost over for you and then nothing but joy will fill your new family;))

Went to the hospital last night. They said I'm not drinking enough liquids. I am supposed to down 8 to 12 glasses a day. Uh yeah right. I didn't drink that much before I got pregnant. I will make the effort though.

Awesome! very glad to hear that you are happy with your Dr! It is such a relief isn't it? My Dr. is awesome as well, he has been delivering babies for 20+ years and around town he is known as "the best" It is such a blessing to have a good Dr.

I also have an appt on May 1st, but my ultrasound isn't until the 14th of april, he wants to wait until I am 34 weeks... : (.

hey, i see you want to be induced i dont blame you that is how i felt at the end I just thought its so much easier to go in when you know so you can sort boys out! we dropped our boys at school and went in.. i hoped to have rudy out before end of school but because i didnt let them give me the drip til lunchtime as i was hoping the breaking of my waters would induce labour i didnt actually have him till 4.30pm - i thought damn if id let them put me on the drip at 9am like theyd wanted i could have had him and then iain could have picked boys up from school and come straight back to hospital!! are you feeling good?x

What is a mucus plug? What does that mean? Do you know what they look like? With my son I spotted for a few weeks before I was sent to the hospital for two weeks. I'm hoping it's not the same thing but it was a weird lavender color. It was really strange.

OH, good! I thought that maybe after the 2nd 3 hr ggt that you would have to have insulin shots or something, if it had come back bad. So, do you have gest. diabetes, or r they just checking you often to ensure you don't? Just curious. Don't have an appt till first full week in May/34 weeks. Hope you are feeling good and have a great week! :)

I don't think it was a mucus plug. It didn't hurt, didn't have an odor, nor did it happen again. It was just that one time. If it happens again I'll call the doc but for right now everything seems fine. She's still kicking and punching and doing gymnastics routines.
