I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

hey ladies! just had to hop on here real quick, i know i havent been on in a while but i just wanted to let you all know i had my baby!!! she was born Sept. 22nd at 8:10 am via C/S. sex is safe as long as your water hasnt broken or if your dr tells you not to. Sex helps speed up the dilating process! Sperm helps soften the cervix.

hey the I got two other opinions... due to my contractions the baby will not turn and I am too small for it to turn not enough room.. the cord thing he said it is a very slim chance and he didn't want it to happen or have any complications and that is why he would take it early..my contractions are 3 to 4 min. apart and it sucks!!!! thank you so much for the advice and I hope everything goes well with you....

yeah i HATE days like that. i had a day where one night i was just SOBBING, and i dont even remember what set me off in the first place, but i was just in bed crying for like 2 hours, and he was so worried, but i honestly didnt have a reason, i just couldnt stop crying! it was so weird. and i felt so bad bc i could tell it was upsetting the baby bc she was jumping and kicking like crazy, and the thought of me upsetting her made me feel WORSE so i'd cry even HARDER!! it as a vicious cycle!

yeah it was a total drag, and it sucked bc when HE was ready to stop being mean and difficult, i was all worked up and my hormones and emotions were going nuts so i couldnt stop crying, and i just couldnt shake it, you know? it was awful.
i think what your mom said is something i'll have to remember. i have a very short temper as it is, so when i get mad i see RED! i'll definetely have to remember to just walk away so i dont harm the father of my child! lol

it was ok thanks! it was so wonderful seeing my family but me and DH fought the entire time, so that made it a bit miserable. i'm already dreading going out there for the holidays with the baby bc if we fought that bad with it just being us two to divide our time between families i can only IMAGINE how its gonna be with the new baby that everyone wants to see!
yeah i hear you, i cant wait to finally go into labor. i mean dont get me wrong i love being pregnant, and its been so easy for me, but i'm just ready to see her already!

hi, i read your message on the cpc forum. I was wondering how things are for you?? I was just told that my baby has a cpc too! they found it on my 20 wk scan but just told me at my last appt so i am 24 wks and going crazy till my 28th wk scan to see if it has cleared. I hope to hear that your baby is safe and healthy!

You need salt. The problem lies with not drinking enought water to carry the sodium out. See my page under my blogs for more information about swelling. Water is really the key. I cannot stress it enough.

Thanks for the message. It's helpful to hear happy outcomes for these babies and their families. I'm doing better having had a few weeks to get used to the news. I usually don't worry too much until something sets me off thinking again, like my visit to the doc did yesterday. We just moved and this new doc didn't do much to reassure me about the cysts, so needless to say I'm looking for yet another new doc. I will go for the followup scan so keep your fingers crossed for my little buddy!

i couldnt WAIT to get the walls pink! i thought i was having a boy, well i figured i would have a boy since i wanted a girl so badly! but once i found out she's a girl, i all of a sudden just cant get enough pink!! and the funny thing is when i was younger i said i'd NEVER dress my daughter in pink because i hate the color, too girly, and now i LOVE it since i'm having a little girl! lol

Hi, thank you for your help it is so nice to know that all is ok and normal. We will see how things go as I have another appointment with the midwife in 3 weeks time and we will see if I need to have another scan. MY GTT come back and all is ok so it is not as if I am diabetic I just think I am having a really big baby. I will keep you posted x
