we're both doing wonderfully, thanks for asking! she is just kickin' away, i love it. i guess now its just time to "nest" and wait for the day she comes!
i'm so excited to get her room set up. do you have your little one's room started?

*Baby-Mine* - Tuesday, 17 June
lol, that is so funny! do you have any stretch marks at all? i think as long as you dont get marks all over it, it would be fine (??) we'll see!
how's pregnancy going so far for you?

*Baby-Mine* - Tuesday, 17 June
i wish i didnt have stretchmarks! i wouldnt care, but i have them all around the front of my belly...it sucks, i wonder if your butterfly will stay the same once your belly goes back to normal? it still looks good, so maybe!

Hi. I was told 5 weeks ago at my 20 week scan that my baby has a cyst too. I dont remember a thing after those words and i walked out of there a mess and cried for a week until i sw my doctor. He assured me not to worry and said i would be wating my money if i went back for another ultrasound because they always go away. I dont think i could handle another ultrasound anyway but it's good to hear others who have stories of them disappearing. Aparrantly it's just a build up of fluid that cant flow thru the artery because baby's arteries are not big enough to cope with the flow just yet but as they grow it flows through. That would hae been a nicer way to put it instead of cyst on brain too!! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!!!!!!!

raechelle - Tuesday, 10 June

Hi,
I read you question on the week 23 board about the birthing class. My boyfriend and I took the class when I was pregnant with #1 (now preggo with #2) and it was a good learning experience. You may think you know everything about giving birth but the birthing class introduces your significant other to a lot more too. My boyfriend learned A LOT! It's good to tour the hospital and see the room you might be in and the process of everything that is going to happen once you arrive at the hospital and some even let you pre-register so you don't have to do all that while you're in labor. I'm going on and on here... lol... it is a good experience.
How are things going for you?
Shannon

I know what you mean, i had one name before and everyone was dead against it, so i changed it and now only told close family. Dont want people to put me off it... xx

MummyBecky - Sunday, 1 June

Beccawithboy - Saturday, 31 May
Hi, my dr. also found the cysts (multiple ones!!) on the brain...sent me to a specialist and all looked perfect. Don't worry. Both my Dr. and the specialist made me feel much better....They say that people have been having these for years with no other problem linked to it. It just sounds so bad...I know.

mama moosie - Saturday, 31 May
That's wonderful!! I'm so glad your little one is doing well!!

MummyBecky - Saturday, 31 May
Hi, yeah i had my u/s on Thursday, and got the all clear! I am over the moon!! Having a beautiful baby boy too! I just want to meet the little lump now, causing me all this worry! lol Glad everything is ok for you both! Really happy for you xx

Shan - Saturday, 31 May
Wonderful news! Glad all is well with your babe!!!

livinjoy - Sunday, 25 May
She seems to be doing great...no markers for anything but they will check the heart again in 3rd trimester. My grandson had a small cyst on his brain about halfway thru the pregnancy. The docs told them it was common and usually goes away and it did. I will be praying for you and your little bean that everything is healthy and normal. Keep me up to date!

Thank you so much for your message. Ive always been a worrier, i guess thats just me, and how i deal with things, but your right, no matter how much i worry things arent going to change, so i just have to hope and pray that everything is going to be ok. My baby is going to be special no matter what. So sorry to hear about the troubles you are going through, i'll pray for us both and both of our special babies! Keep in touch and let me know how things get on xx

*Baby-Mine* - Friday, 23 May
yeah you're right that is scary. just try to keep your head up and while you wait be sure to keep that baby healthy. they told my cousin her baby ran the risk of having downs because of that cyst, and she was thinking of aborting him. thank goodness she didnt because like i said, he was born completely healthy and normal.
good luck, and i'll keep you in my prayers! keep me posted

*Baby-Mine* - Thursday, 22 May
hi sweetie, just saw your post on week 21 and wanted to tell you that my cousin's baby had a brain cyst also. idk if it was the same kind, idk if there are even DIFFERENT kinds, but as the baby kept growing the cyst got smaller and smaller until eventually it was gone and he was born perfectly healthy, full term, and without the cyst.
the scariest part of the whole thing was just knowing he had something on his brain, like you said BRAIN and CYST just dont go together!!
stay strong, and stick with your docs advice, im sure if he's not worried, you have no reason to be either. i hope this helps! take care and good luck!

My first son had 2 cpc's on his brain one measured 3mm and the other was 6mm. I didn't have any other abnormalities and the dr's told me not to worry 1% of babies are born with them. Since it was my first pregnancy my husband and I were scared, but everything turned out just fine. My second son also had 1 cpc and it measured 4mm and also no other abnormalities, and he is fine. When I went for the u/s for this pregnancy I was waiting to hear that the baby had a cpc, if so I was gonna go buy a lottery ticket...what are the odds of that happening. This baby doesn't have any cpc's but it does have a thickening of the heart muscle around the valve, the dr. told me they see alot of them but it is an indication of down's syndrome, but since there were no other indications of down's syndorme on the u/s and the measurement ratios came back good not to worry. YEAH RIGHT... It was the longest three hours of my life waiting to get my triple screen results. I came back saying I only had 1 in 751 chances so with the heart it is 1 in 375 chances of having down's syndrome. Another issue that will not affect the baby's health what so ever but is scary to hear. Once you get the level 3 ultrasound it will put you at ease, and since there were no other abnormalities don't stress out too much :o)

mama moosie - Tuesday, 20 May
That is such a BEAUTIFUL name! We've decided the first name will be Sam, Samuel for a boy and Samantha for a girl. We're still very much debating the middle name... :)
