I have battled with Endometriosis for many years. Doctors told me the only way to treat it & to fall pregnant, is to have it burned out, and I have to fall pregnant within 6 months otherwise it will have grown back by then. Or I go on hormone supressing drugs for 6 months, and then try and fall pregnant quickly!! I had it burned out once by laparoscopy (6 holes in my abdoment!). It was rather painful!! I did not fall pregnant within 6 months, so I resigned myself to battling with this for the rest of my life. After the first laparoscopy experience I decided to rather explore other treatment options, as I was not going through that again! After trying various natural treatments, I ended up seeing a homeopath, who did acupuncture, light and lazor therapy. I had tablets to take, and was placed on a strict no wheat no sugar diet. I was also found to have an underactive thyroid (eventhough I do not and have never had a weight problem??!!). Well, 6 months later to my shock and surprise I was pregnant!!!!! After 4plus years of battling! I feel blessed every day, to have come this far, and to be given this opportunity to become a mom(!) to my own flesh and blood. My husband and I are extactic and are enjoying every moment as it comes! We thank God for this blessing!!!

I am now going into my 4th month and have started to show a little tummy in the last week or 2 :-) . Just haven't felt it move yet. Going for a scan in 2 days. Am really excited.
