Its another BOY!

Was born 1/21/2008 @ 4:51am. He was 7lbs 13oz and 20 inches long. I was in labor for 4 hours pushed twice and out he came. I drank 4oz of castor oil the night before at around 6pm, so I am a STRONG believer that this works. He is beautiful and healthy. He has a birthmark covering one side of his head and part of his face. Its called a port wine stain. He also was born with a broken collarbone but the doctor says it should be completely healed by the time he is 3 weeks old. Everthing is going SO wonderful so far. I couldnt be happier. I have a 2 year old son and my pregnancy with him was so much different. I was so sick in the beginning with him and I had no morning sickness with this one. I felt really pregnant with him and I forget Im pregnant with this one. I am really big for only being 25 weeks and the doctors tell me I am measuring about 2 weeks ahead of schedule so that could be a good thing or a bad thing.

I just have trouble sleeping thats about my only pregnancy symptom. I just cant get comfortable at night.

We are having another little boy and his name will be Brensin. We havent decided on a middle name yet but atleast he finally has a first name because we just decided on that one last week. We arent telling our family that he has a name, we want it to be a surprise so we are playing it out like just cant agree.

Well I dont have much else to say right now so I guess Ill post some pictures up of my belly and Ill try and keep everyone updated on whats going on! Please feel free to leave me comments and Ill return the favor! Happy healthy pregnancy to all!

October 31st 2007

Well I went to the doctor today for my 27 week appointment and things are still looking good. The last time I went to the doctor I was measuring about 2-3 weeks ahead and this time Im only about 1-2 weeks so they said Im evening out but they just want to keep an eye on it. The big problem is that I went to the doctor last week for pressure and stuff and since then I have gained 5lbs. 5lbs in 1 week So the doctor said just to watch what Im eating so that I dont gain too much.....So that brings my total weight gain so far to 13lbs. I also went and had my glucose test done today....which wasnt too bad, its not really the taste that is horrible its more that you have to drink it in 5 minutes! Thats a lot to drink in 5 minutes. Umm lets see, the babies heartrate was about 140 and my blood pressure was 100/70 which is kind of low for me but not bad. And I guess thats about it. Now I start my every 2 weeks appt. so thats exciting. Makes ya feel like you are getting somewhere finally LOL

So I went for my 29 week check up...nothing too exciting but thought I would share.

Well I gained another 5lbs...that brings me to a total of 18lbs
My blood pressure was 120/70
Im still measuring about 2 weeks ahead
Brensin's heartrate was about 145
I was having contractions while she was doing my tummy check (because I have been having them all of the time) and she asked me if I could feel it and I told her yes...she asked me how often I have been having them and I told her a whole lot of times a day but never a lot in an hour or anything. She says that with me measuring early and with all of BH contractions she would be surprised to see me make it past 38 weeks. Now obviously there are no guarantees but man that would be nice. I love being pregnant but Im ready for the baby part now.

Well here I am at 31 weeks. I went to the doctor today and here is my update

I gained 2 more lbs I think that puts me at 20lbs
My blood pressure was 120/68 ---good for me
The babies heartrate was around 145----as usual

Now here is the kicker. I am measuring at 34-35 weeks. So they are sending me tomorrow to get another sonogram done. They have to check the weight of the baby and make sure that he isnt getting too big so that I can deliver him and not have to have a c-section. So doc says we may have a christmas/new years baby on our hands .......I am so excited I get to see my little man again tomorrow. He will actually look more like a baby this time since Im 31 weeks Im so anxious! Ill have pics up of my belly soon too. Oh yeah speaking of my belly, with Cohen my belly button didnt even come close to popping out and now with this one its almost out......its so weird.....sorry just had to share

Well I went and got my sonogram today.....and the sono person said that at 31 weeks the baby should weigh about 3-3.5 pounds and my little guy weighs 4lbs 8oz. So I wont really know anything else until I go back to the doc on 12/10 but the sono lady said that from the measurements the baby looks due around 1/12 so like I said we will see. His head is down and he is still a boy.... I couldnt see his face though because his face was facing my back Well just wanted to update you ladies

Well I went to the doctor on Tuesday and i was 2cm and 80% effaced. The doctor also stripped my membranes. I lost my mucus plug the same day but here I am still sitting here waiting. I guess he will get here when he is ready! I cant wait.....Im getting SO anxious!
