24 weeks and 2 days along. It has been a LONG time since I have written! I am feeling great and loving being pregnant!! It is such a precious miracle. We are not finding out what we are having. Most people guess girl. I am very anxious so meet our little one! I feel the little kung fu fighter all the time. The kicks are getting stronger every day. I can already see my tummy bounce when the baby is very active.
February 16th, 2008
15 weeks and 2 days today! My belly is looking more pregnant than cubby now! :D We heard the heartbeat on Valentine's Day- a healthy 160 bpm. I was such a beautiful sound. I go for the triple test in about 2 weeks and then for the biggie ultrasound on March 19th. I'm very excited to see our little one again!
January 21st, 2008
I am 11 weeks, 4 days pregnant toady and feeling quite good. I have not been queasy all day! :) I am really looking forward to having a baby bump and actually looking pregnant. Right now I just feel thick around the middle. I think I am going to look at the maternity stores/sections today because all my clothes are feeling uncomfortably tight! I'm a first timer so I hope the clerks in the stores are helpful!!

I don't think teaching (especially this time of year) is the best fit with pregnancy. I teach 5th grade, and they keep me on my toes. We don't get out until June 19th (and I dont have AC....so it's going to be a long few weeks left) Other symptoms...occasional heart burn, other than that I'm good. I really have had it easy so far. Hope your doing well!

I'm having the lower back pain...occasional ankle swelling as well. I'm going to try and do some stretches, maybe a heating pad for the back. And the ankles, I'm just going to put them up when I get home from work (I have a long work day on my feet) I'm also going to try and have the hubby rub them when he can. How exciting only another 15 weeks till you find out!!!!!! I'm guessing a girl as you are carrying like me!!!!!! There is no way in hell i could have waited till birth to find out!!!! hey... i was having the same problem with my fiancee jeffery... i would feel my little guy kicking like crazy so i'd tell him to put his hand where mine was and the baby would stop. i figured something out though... my hand weighs much less than jeffery's does... and i think the baby can feel the difference in pressure when its my hand vs. his. have your man lighty put his hand, or just a couple of fingers where you feel the kicks... see if that helps him feel it. i hope this helps. good luck!

One of my good friends had a false positive. It came back 30& chance of Downs and she had a healthy baby girl. Try not to worry. I know easier said than done. Can you have your doctor paged?

I wouldnt worry too much about your triple screening test results. My dr told me that false positives are so common that he actually tells all of his patients not to worry if they come back that way. It just means that further tests need to be done and the likely hood of anything actually being wrong is very slim.

Ya no kiddin, im tired of just looking like im chunky and actually look prego. Its more noticeable when I wear tight clothes. When I wear baggy stuff it still looks like im just chunky in my tummy but i bet in about a month i will look prego in baggy clothes. CANT WAIT to have this baby...! Good luck to you too!!!! :)

Hello :) I am feeling pretty good. Some smells still trigger a little nausea, and my clothes are getting snug! It is cool we share the same date! Its my first baby as well! Congrats! Hope you are feeling ok :)
