Thursday, 13 November Thats what I said to him last night as well. How am I going to go to school, work two jobs, take care of my baby girl, homework, try to run a house AND have time for a guy. I dont know if Im even able to do sqeeze all the jobs into my school schedule. Ill get it in a month or so.I made him promise he wasnt going to " wait" on me because he'd probably be waiting a long time. Like I said unless prince charming comes riding up on a white horse Ill be waiting until Riley can ask where her daddy is, so we can find one together. flgrl -

Wednesday, 12 November Is he really eating for 60-80 minutes in a day? Or is he sucking for part of that time? Claire is actively eating for about 3-5 minutes at a time. Although at night it tends to be a bit longer for 2 feedings because she sleeps for longer chunks of time and I imagine she is hungrier. Claire won't take a bottle either. I know that they become VERY efficient at getting milk out at this age. I don't think that they get the same amount each time though. I think it fluctuates. Does your milk let down immediately? Mine usually takes about a minute... I think 50 oz. is a lot and he probably doesn't get that much in a day. With breastfed babies, it's not that important the amount of ounces they get (as compared to bottle fed babies) because breastmilk changes in composition to what babies actually need for their development. I think you are doing the right thing in feeding him on demand. Have you ever pumped any milk? They say that a baby usually gets 1-2 oz. more of out of your breast than you are able to pump. But it might not be like that for everyone. At this point I would keep focusing on feeding him breastmilk first and adding solids in to supplement it. How has his weight been since the UTI has been treated? When do you see the doc. next? kbpc3949 -
Tuesday, 11 November Gerber or beachnut. I think they both make them. kbpc3949 -
Tuesday, 11 November I know and then we get screamed at for more food and then he just pukes! Also, we tried chicken noodle dinner the other day and he LOVES it. That and turkey tettrezini(sp). That is higher in fat than all the others. Just fyi. kbpc3949 -
Tuesday, 11 November He kept throwing it up. I am guessing we were overfeeding him. He is like fish, he will keep eating b/c he likes it! Then being the generous child that he is, he will give it all back to you! Maybe mix the yogurt with some applesauce? mommykris -
Tuesday, 11 November i am glad i'm not the only one dealing with the separation anxiety! how long is it suppose to last? mom2boy -
Tuesday, 11 November No, he took antibiotics for the original UTI but that was it. They are doing the VCUG to make sure he doesn't have reflux because I guess babies shouldn't be getting UTIs especially boys. It is possible it is just a one time deal but they want to make sure. If he has reflux they will give him low level antibiotics until he grows out of it. I hope it is nothing, I feel like it is nothing but I guess we will just have to wait and see. I hate that I have to wait 2 1/2 months to find out. If he hasn't had any more issues before his appointment I might call his DR and ask if we can skip the VCUG since he isn't having reacurrent ones. Why are they doing it with Edwin? Just one UTI is all he has had right? It just seems so dramatic for just one little UTI but I am no doctor so what do I know? mom2boy -
Monday, 10 November Remember Jamison's UTI well they want to do a VCUG where they catheter him and put dye in his bladder and watch what it does as well as an u/s sound on his kidneys. Poor guy. Isn't that Edwin had done? Was it hard? Tell me all about it? We can't get in until mid January. BethSilva -
Monday, 10 November UPDATE ON OUR DOG:Thanks so much to everyone that commented on Pulver our dog. We had a lot of possible buyers, and or takers. However with every text or phone call that I got, Brandans heart would break a little more. He was soooo incredibly sad, I mean he seemed like a different person! So Saturday we went to his moms house after going to the block of Orange to walk around and ponder what to do. He went out back to spend time with Pulver, and his dad fallowed. About 15 minutes later his dad walked in and said “Nan, your son doesn’t want to get rid of his dog.” She says… “I know, but I don’t want to be responsible if he falls and drowns in the pool.” He says… “I don’t want to get rid of him eather.” So after a little scuffle back and forth, Brandan got what he wanted! He gets to keep Pulver.
I’m so glad that he didn’t have to go through the pain of losing him. I know what it feels like I had to give up my American Bull dog. THE BEST DOG IN THE WORLD. And to this day it’s still hard for me. If I ever found her I would snatch her from her owners! Ha ha. (Turned out that the person I GAVE her to sold her for $500.
00 to some crack head! UGH sucks)
SO thanks again! I REALLY Appreciate it!

Sunday, 9 November I so hope that everything with his kidneys is ok. Have you had him weighed again lately? Poor little guy :( I have the same problem with Madelyn.. she does really good some days and not to good other days. For the last 2 days she decided that she didn't want to eat her cereal or vegetables or nurse very much , then today she gobbled a huge bowl or carrots.. I don't think we will ever figure them out! Please keep me updated. I hope it will be nothing for his and your sake. britt.b. -
Saturday, 8 November at the top go to profile, then edit profile. then on the options at the top, go to privacy, then profile viewable by, then select my friends. there are some more options you can play around with on the privacy thing. you can choose if you want people to know you are online or not, if you want your birthday shown....ect. also if you want a background, if you go to coolchaser.com if you look through their backgrounds, and you see one you want, follow the instructions and type in your e mail and password to your myspace and it will do it for you. if you use a different website, you will have to mess with HTML codes. jessicadarling -
