Hello, I am 23 years old, Im a hairstylist. I have been trying to conceive since January of 2009! I have been told I do not ovulate at all! Not the best news to know when your trying to have a family. Not too many people will take me seriously since I am young and so is my husband. We are married and this is the next step I would like to do..Still waiting to conceive!!

Congrats! I was really questioning the doctors opinion, because generally you can't see anything BUT a sack for I think the first 6 weeks... I am really happy for you! You deserve it!!! YOUR PREGO!!! YAY!!!!

Hey, you!Sorry I haven't responded earlier! Thanks for the well wishes! I've been wondering how you are, too! Your first post made me smile -- It seems like all you think about is babies, ovulation, timing, testing, and all that stuff, I know! It's so frustrating! I don't drink, just because I don't like the taste of stuff, but I totally understand wanting to just let go and go crazy for a night! I would think one night of being crazy and having fun and getting your mind off everything would do your body more good than harm at this point, you know? If nothing else, it'll make you feel better! We went to Orlando for two weeks in December, and I didn't think (much) about getting pregnant b/c I was having my period then. I think all the fun and relaxation worked wonders, because we conceived February 5. I think my body just needed to de-stress. How many rounds of Clomid have you tried? Just wondering, b/c I tried nine with no success, then they switched me to Femara, which isn't really a fertility drug per-se, but a breast cancer drug that just happens to stimulate ovulation, and it worked the second time! I'm assuming you have PCOS b/c you're on Metformin? I have lots of girlfriends with it that haven't responded to Clomid but that have used Femara and conceived within three cycles. It's worth asking your doc, for sure! And it didn't make me a crazy hormonal mess like the Clomid, either! :) I'm hoping to be holding a bundle of joy soon! It's now six days past my due date, and seems like there's no end in sight. I'm planning to do an all-natural birth, so I definitely don't want to be induced. We go to the doc on Friday, though, for an ultrasound and a non-stress test. Then we have to discuss induction. I need to get this baby out before Friday! :) Take care of you! If you decide to go out, have a GREAT time! :) If you decide not to, at least go get a massage or a pedicure or something! :) *Hugs!*

I was on my third round of clomid, after trying for a year. I went out with the girls one night and got trashed.. A week later I got pregnant!! The only reason why I went out is because I KNEW I wasnt pregnant. If I had any question, I wouldnt have done it. Sometimes, you need to just go have fun and stop stressing about baby making! lol!! So go have some fun!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe that letting losse is the best thing I took clomid 50 mg and drank 3 beers and bam pregnant! My friend was ttc for years she told me she just wanted to have fun drank and 4 weeks later pregnant she is being induced in 3 days! Have some fun and relax, I wish you all the luck in the world
