Kaylee Isabelle was born on 02/04/08 @ 3:27am.
The labor was torture!! I was in labor for 24 hours after all the pain the doctors decided to deliver Kaylee via c-section. She weight 6 pounds 15 ouncez and was 19.50 inches long.

Friday, 6 June Get Ucerin Original Formula. It is the best. It is thick and unscented so it does not irritate the skin. It is a little pricey but it is worth it!!!! KateOhm -
Friday, 6 June Aveeno baby lotion and baby wash is the best for eczema, it's actually much more gentle than Johnson's. My 4 year old and my 4 month old both have it. If it is severe enough there are prescribtion medicines that you're doctor can precribe but sometimes they won't do that until the baby is a year or so. Until than try the Aveeno and also you can put Hydrocortizone cream (anti-itch cream) on it. jenmarie82 -
Friday, 6 June also, taylor used to have a bad rash..wasn't eczema, but i quit using any kind of soap on her for a while and used just water and it went away. maybe something you're using is irritating it and making it worse? iamdesiree -
Friday, 6 June Addyson has really bad exzema and so do I. All of my children have had it but she has it the worst. MY oldest and son grew out of it. Unfourtunatley I never did. I still get it very bad in spring and fall. I put A&D oinment on Addysons arms and legs it helps. It sticks like hell but it locks the moisture in. I put it on only when she is going to bed., I use Ucerin and Aquaphor during the day. The key to exzema is to keep it moist. That is really all you can do until they are old enough to use a steroid cream. You may be able to use a 1% cortizone cream but I would not suggest using it on her face. jenmarie82 -
Friday, 6 June have you tried soaps or lotions for specific skin problem? i've heard of soaps that are specifically for problem skin.

Wednesday, 21 May oh, thank you! btw, i read your post about your dog and i wanted to tell you how sorry i am. our dog went to the happy hunting ground right before beckett was born and MAN that was terribly hard. our furry family members really do mean a lot :) good luck getting a new dog, too -- i think it's so important to have a family pet! jenmarie82 -

Tuesday, 20 May I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your doggie. I posted this in the 3 month thread but I'll paste it here in case you don't see it (a lot of activity over there!)
I have 4 dogs and they are just wonderful with the baby. They all reacted to her differently, it was so funny... our eldest dog was scared of her LOL, the youngest dog totally ignored her, and the middle two dogs decided they wanted to be her best friends! A lot of people I know were 'warning' me about my dogs, telling me that I didn't have enough time and love to go around or that they wouldn't like the baby.... but nothing could be further from the truth. I can't imagine life without a dog. mizzsnazzy -
