Hi...My name is Lauren and I found out that I was pregnant on August 19th after taking a home pregnancy test at my future Mother-in-laws house. It was a huge shock to both of us. We have decided to keep it a secret until I am far enough along that the chances of having a miscarriage have slimmed down significantly. The reason why?...... About a little over 3 years ago I met a wonderful man named Joey that after about 4 months I knew I would some day marry. At our 6 month point of dating I found out that I was pregnant. My mom told Joey that if I have an abortion that nobody would ever have to know. After I musterd up the courage to tell everyone in my family, I had a miscarriage. My family was completly unsupportive. They let me know how happy they were that I would not be tainting our family name and making them look bad. Weeks followed of pure depression until Joey helped me thruogh it. About 1 year later like clock work I once again found out that I was pregnant. We keep this one a conplete secret and again I had a miscarriage in week 5. So like clock work 1 year later here I am, pregnant again.

1st trimester: July 17, 2007 to October 15, 2007. (0 - 12 weeks) Yeah, I am so happy this part is over!!!!!
Your 2nd trimester: October 16, 2007 to January 28, 2008. (13 - 27 weeks) This is going by extremely fast : )
Your 3rd trimester: January 29, 2008 to April 22, 2008. (28 - 40 weeks)

I don't know why but I'm a gosh darn sucker for all of these tickers. I think it is because it keeps reminding me of how soon I get to hold my little one.

I am 14 weeks along as of this moment. I do not know what happened but all of a sudden yesturday this whole thing hit me like a ton of bricks. I will be honest with you, I was not looking forward to this pregnancy, not even a little. I guess it was because the tought of having another miscarriage was devistating. I kept saying how much I hated being pregnant, I wished it had never happened, and that I was not ready for such a commitment in my life. But the other day when I was driving in my car on the way home and I just broke down. Thinking how much this baby means to me and how completly sad I would be if anything where to go wrong AGAIN. Am I a horrible person for thinking all those negative things about my unborn blessing?

On November 8th we had our first doctors appointment. I was so excited, we got to hear the heart beating and it was 150 which she said was normal. I almost cried like a little punk, it took all I had to hold it back. We have never made it this far. I looked over at Joey and he didn't say a thing, he just had a big smile from ear to ear. I think that he gets it a little more than he did before. My next doctors appointment is on November 21st. We are going to find out what we are having. They made it a little early because they think that I have a cyst on my ovary and they want to check it out. Cross your fingers that it is nothing.
