Febuary 13/2008

I get another ultrasound tomorrow to check on my cervix. Since last time the tech said it appeared to be "slightly" opened. My mother and sister both had incompetent cervixes and very early babies, so hopefully this isnt the case with me. I am just SO excited to see my little man again tomorrow though. I cant believe how much I love him when I even just see him on that teeny screen. What an awesome valentines day present! Who needs romance? lol If they give me more pictures I will be posting them as soon as possible.. Sooo excited!

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Thanks for message. Sounds like you've had your share of complications-or at least a scare or 2. Good luck. Hope you & baby make it to the finish line! The countdown begins! :)

KavinsMommy - Monday, 11 Feb
I feel sore down there and it feels like alot of pressure too. So ready for this pregnancy to end. :)

mitzumama - Monday, 11 Feb
Not too much information...
Its really normal to feel sore. Is it a sore, irritated feeling, like inside, or is it a swollen achy feeling like your walking around with a big purple football between your legs. Itchy sore may be extra yeast... drink cranberry juice and eat lot of yogurt and it should go away. If it doesn't, talk to you doctor. The achy kind of sore is caused by all the pressure that the baby is putting on the blood vessels in the area. Everything just swells up and aches. I am dealing with that big time. My baby is low and seriously pressing against my pelvic area. Its hard to ignore and there isn't much we can do about it.... but it is normal.
Hope that helps!

mama32 - Monday, 11 Feb
Yes, actually I just arrived here at work from my Dr's appt. I asked him about the pain I've been experiencing, he said it's normal at this stage..and really nothing can be done about it. I explained that it's a sharp intense hurtful pain, he said this is all normal. Hope this helps :)

snowidawn - Monday, 11 Feb
Oh yes! I have had that sore/achy weird feeling for about a week at least. I guess it must be some sort of pressure thing....

FIRST-TIME-MOMMY-TO-B - Monday, 11 Feb
You may check with your Dr...but mine said it was perfectly normal to be feeling soar down there. He said that you may even feel some pressure like the baby is going to fall out at times and it just means that the baby is sitting low on that day. Hope that helps you out! :)
