My name is Courtney and I am eighteen years old. I live in Mountain View, Arkansas and I am married to Josh Halpain. I am a first time mom and I had my daughter Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 1:06 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs 15.3 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. I love being a mother and I am so lucky to have such a beautiful daughter!!!

I know what you mean about some dogs, my pit just let her walk all over him it was too cute!! She pulled on him and crawled over him and hit him and he just took it, of course his head was as hard as a cement wall so that could explain it a little, lol! And so great to have around when baby is starting solids and what not, lol, the floor around the high chair and the high chair itself were always so clean, lol!!
ANd I so meant to check out your pics this weekend and I totally forgot! It was so nice over here yesterday I just had the motivation to clean some things up around the house, I'm so proud of myself, lol!

We had a pitbull when my daughter was born, he was not too hyper, had a problem with tall people and black people, I don't understand it, lol, but when the baby came home he was all about her! He put his paws up on her changing table(her pad was big and he never got them near her) when she was crying cause he wanted to know who was doing what to her, and when our friends came over to hold her he was right there in front of her watching her at all times! He was such a great dog, I hope our Boston Terrier is good like that when this one comes home, I think he will, his previous owner had just had a new baby when we got him so I think he'll be ok, but he is a licker too so this should be interesting!
