My name is Cristy, I am 31 years old and work as an insurance agent and also teach dance. My husband Ken is also 31 and is a physical therapist. We were married on May 25, 2002. Last year we decided it was time to bring a baby into our little family (well, Ken was ready much sooner than I was!) and started trying. After 11 months, I finally got my BFP on 4/30/07! We were so happy and shared our news with our parents two weeks later on Mother's Day. Unfortunately, I m/c on 6/3/07. We were completely devastated. It has been difficult to deal with but we are hoping to try again soon.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________

1/3/2008- Today is my birthday. Blah! It is very depressing since I would have been due next week if I hadn't had the m/c. It doesn't help that I am still not pregnant again. Right now I am waiting for the cyst I have on my ovary from the Clomid I took last cycle to go away before we can move on to a new drug. I am trying to be hopeful about the new year!

1/14/2008- I am now on to another cycle, this time taking letrozole (femara). I really hope this is what works! The pharmacist was a little reluctant to give it to me at first because it isn't actually to treat infertility, but I know of many, many women who have used it this way. After explaining why I am taking this instead of the clomid again, he understood the reason for it, handed it over and wished me luck. I go back to the RE on Saturday to get monitored to see how the follies are progressing.

2/4/2008- BFN. *sigh* I figured as much. I'm not sure what we are going to do now.

2/11/2008- We are doing one more cycle of letrozole and then... well, I don't know. Fingers crossed!

3/7/2008- BFN. Yet again. No surprise, really. We are on a break for an indefinate amount of time.

5/28/2008- I had another m/c today. I was 7w6d along. I cannot believe this happened again. I don't think we are ever going to have a baby.

7/20/2008- We recently got the results back from the genetic testing and all the blood work I had done. All came back normal. We have no answers for anything. But we are back to trying, sort of, for now...

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

School is going well...Ilike the group of kids this year. No one is really out of hand...YET! It's just been very busy for me and hard for us to get in a routine at home. Both boys are playing soccer and of course practice on different days. I'm very glad I'm not doing cheerleading this year. There would absolutely be no time for it.

I can't imagine having that many girls in one ballet class, although it will probably get a little easier as the year goes on. I'm sure that keeps you busy though. I'm going to see NKOTB next Friday....I'll definately let you know how it goes. I'll try to get a good pic of Joey for ya......isn't that who you liked?

Hi! I browsed you from Carly's page....I am sorry to hear about your m/c. Yes, there is no answer, but I am glad to hear that genetic testing came back good. I had to take Femara when I was TTC, too! We had to do the whole Dr. thing....have you had an HSG done? Sorry to pry, just am interested. Stay positive and it will happen when it's right.

Hey.....What's going on? Can't believe summer is coming to an end....it went way too fast! How are you doing? BTW....No more stones (at least as of now)

Randi lives in Greensburg with Dean and her two boys, and Kim lives in Philidelphia with a daughter whose 6 and a son who's 11 months. Her daughter is on an all star cheerleading squad which competes. Both seem to be doing good. It was so good to hear from them. Doug and I are meeting Randi and Dean on the 16th....I'm looking forward to seeing her.

Hey...I've had 2 terrible colds this summer, and I never get colds in the summer. I had to get an IVP done today...He thought he might have seen another on the last xray. HOPEFULLY HE'S WONG! Kim and Randi have both asked about you.

How are you????? I haven't heard from you in a while. I think Dylan is going to go to the reunion Sat. for a little while with my dad. He wants to see Derick (Denise's son). They're in the same class and play on the same t-ball team. I doubt I'm going since it won't be for long, but you never know.

I know, I know.,..it's 4:00am, but she's up so I figured I might as well do something useful. Wed. I was nauseated and vomiting all day, so they ordered me compazine to stop that....well, I find out Thurs.I'm allergic to compazine.....my legs became all tingly, numb and just feeling totally undescribable. So, went in to ER on Thurs. They had to give me shots of benadryl through the IV to make those feeling in my legs go away. I hope I'm done for the summer....it's been a rough one so far between my foot and these stupid stones. Anyway and more importantly, how are you?......

teresa - Thursday, 10 July
I haven't been on here because my phone line has been down, and I was back in the hospital for the other stone.....had the lithotripsy on Tuesday morn and was sick to my stomach all day Wed. I hope that's the last of them! I 'm glad to hear you enjoyed your vacation....i'm going to miss the beach this year, and in a way I 'm glad to hear the doc didn't find much. At least there isn't anything major causing you not to become pregnant. Most miscarriages are unexplainable, which I know doesn't help you. So, you can and will become pregnant on your own. YOu sound like you're giving up and I hate when I hear that from you.....I've read too many stories (especially on this site) of repeat miscarriages, and then going on to have healthy babies. If you need me for anything, don't hesitate...............love ya!

teresa - Sunday, 6 July
I'm glad to hear your vacation was nice! I had a nice vacation in the hospital with kidney stones.....it's been 10 years since I had those stupid things. Anyway, in a way it's a good thing the doc didn't find anything.....at least there isn't anything preventing you from having a baby. My 2 miscarriages were unexplainable as well.......you are going to get pregnant, Cristy. Did he say you could start trying again? I know it's frustrating, but hang in there. It is so easy to lose hope and wonder why this is happening to you......I've been there. Keep me posted.

teresa - Friday, 4 July
Hey! How was your vacation? Hopefully you had a nice time and did some relaxing. I'm really going to miss going to the beach this year! Have you heard anything from the doctor yet?
