Monday, 7 April okay, I will just stay here for now. Let me know if you go over so we can just go over together. I want to be here to congratulate those that were in our group! As for the odor, I don't think it is good. Did you tear or have stitches? You may want to call your ob because infection may be setting in. I am still sore down there also, but it has been only 3 days. I can understand the depression because you are tired and in pain along with bleeding out. Something has got to give. It says to call the doctor immediately when you start feeling depressed per my doctor so call them tomorrow and let me know. momoffive -
Monday, 7 April Are you able to get any help when your husband is at work? I am feeling quite overwhelmed with my kids this weekend. My husband wants attention, each of the kids wants attention and the baby needs constant attention. I havn't even completed a single thought for myself. I can't even so much as daydream without being needed for something. I am just going to trudge thru as long as I can and pray it doesn't get bad. At this point I don't even have time to get help if I needed it. If it is available to you I suggest you get some. Even just a girlfriend to come over and keep you company during the day. I know that helps me. My neighbors have been keeping me busy during the week, it's just the weekends that are getting hard. flavourishous -
Sunday, 6 April Depression is tough to get through, I've been pretty stressed and depressed myself during the entire pregnancy, and I find I have no patience for my other children right now, I feel like even though I need this time to heal from my surgery, I cannot enjoy my little one the way I want to because of all the other distractions. I don't begin to imagine a perfect life or a perfect world, but I try and look into the positive and enjoy the moments that are good. I would definitely talk to the doctor and see if you can come up with a solution to the way you're feeling. The only way a person can get help is to accept that they need it, but I"m sure as time goes by you'll feel a lot better and will keep on doing your best! God Bless you and your Children :). I wish you all the best, if you need to talk I'm here :). momoffive -
Sunday, 6 April I went to talking babies but didn't see anyone familiar from pregnancy so I've mostly just been on the pregnancy site. I havn't looked at the talking babies site much. One of these evenings when I get a chance I will have to look at it and play around with stuff a little more. Have you been on there much? sickasadog -
Sunday, 6 April want to go on talking babies but not understanding how. it does not seem to want to accept my user id and password. do i have to register again or something? sickasadog -
Sunday, 6 April what healing is not going so well? did you tear? I have a 2nd degree tear. It is the only other area outside of sore breasts that are uncomfortable right now. healing is why i did not want a c section. flavourishous -
Sunday, 6 April Hey you! I usually do get the weepies ( crying fits) after I have given birth. It usually lasts around 6 weeks and then I tend to get "normal" again. Post partum is normal as our bodies are trying to readjust and everything is so overwhelming and hits us all at once, however, if you feel like you want to hurt yourself or your children, definitely seek help, otherwise crying is a normal part of womanhood :). Stay strong and you'll be fine! taking care of 2 kids isn't as bad especially when you have a helpful husband. Once a mom always a mom and i"m sure both of your children will know how blessed they are with a momma who loves them and is doing her best! sickasadog -
Sunday, 6 April whoa bre, that sounds very scary! because of having 2 scares out of the 3 kids I have now, I just can't do it again. I am done. Saturday, 5 April I have not read your page yet as I am just in for a moment and saw your post. I can't wait to read it though. You know, I was in labor on March 30, but it stopped. Now we know it is because he was stuck. I will try to post and read your post tomorrow. I cannot believe your baby is almost a week old already. Congrats and I am proud of how strong you were. sickasadog -
Saturday, 5 April Congratulations on your baby! I think she definitely belongs to the both of you. ha ha ha... Girl, my delivery was really scary and stressful. I thank God we made it with good health and just made it. ha ha ha anyway, i had my baby! he is too cute, but daxn, he kicked my butt getting here. The doc started to induce me at 6am on april 2nd. i got stuck at 5-6cm dilated at 7pm. We negotiated a compromise on what positions we would try and what time we would just go to an emergency c sect, which would be around 1:30am on april 3rd if no change. It was back labor, he was posterior, and stuck in my canal. His heartrate dipped and even disappeared so was very stressful. The epi ran out at 6cm and I found myself laboring and pushing with no meds! I yelled as I pushed that I would never do this shxt again!!! I felt much better once he was out and am thankful my doc allowed me time to try to get him out vaginally. Will talk later. HappyFLMommy -
Saturday, 5 April Yeah I am sure I will miss being pregnant once she is out but I just want it over! I go to the doctor on Tuesday and hopefully they will have some news for me! Thats if I make it til then! Hopefully it will be sometime soon if he plans it! flavourishous -

Friday, 4 April I'm ok - just ready to get this over! I go back to the doctor this week and he will talk to us about inducing. I am no longer working so now I will be thinking about it all the time. I am starting to tell my self that she is just not coming out! A friend of mine was talking about neat birthdays and she said "I like 8-8-08" not thinking that was in August! I think she heard that and won't come til then now! momoffive -
Friday, 4 April Ya, the jaundice thing can be scarey. Sam was on the billiblanket in the hospital. He had blood draws every day his first week home, his little feet looked like pin cushions. It just kept going up higher and higher but by easter had started coming down slowly. He is nice and pink now :-) Hang in there. Ice cubes on the feet works well, lots of sunlight (I'm in Oregon it's almost non exsistant) and a little formula is heavier than breastmilk and can rinse the billiroubin thru faster. Those were the tips from my dr. they seemed to help. jenn1022 -

Thursday, 3 April OH Congratulations!!!!!!! I havn't been able to check in in a while and the first thing I did when i got to the site was look to see if you had your little girl. What a chunk she is ! I love those chubby little cheeks...She's sooo sweet! What does Jade think of her? What did your husband think of the whole childbirth part of parenting ( pregnancy aside )? I am so happy for you! When you have a chance and are feeling good I'd love to read the birth story. I missed any updates you posted on the main page. How big was she? Did the labor go well once it kicked into gear? Did they end up inducing or did your body finally go on its own? Can't wait to read all of the details....and Congratulations agian :-) jenn1022 -
