I have been getting cramps all day. Like period cramps. I also feel alot of pressure down there. Yeah my due date was now yesterday. I go today to the dr at 1:15. As of last week I was only thinning out and not dilating yet. But he says that is common in first pregnancies. We are going to be talking about inducing this apt also. Hopefully I will have some good news this afternoon bcause I am so ready!!!

Don't worry, things will all settle down soon and you will establish a routine, then everything wont seem so hectic. I think it will be easier as they get a little bigger and not so dependent and when we can get some good sleep! crossing my fingers that it will be soon!

Hey I am wondering if you can help me. I am wondering what the very start of labor feels like. Is it just the contractions or did you have anything before that. I am starting to cramp a little bit and wondering if maybe that is the start seeing today is my due date!

I'm glad that your mom and mom in law are able to help you. My parents don't help us with the kids much. My sister has some responsibility issues to put it nicely and they help her with her girls which ticks me off but the thought of taking my kids seems to overwhelm them. My mother in law would like to help but she is a little goofy mentaly. She's great with my kids but I wouldn't leave them alone with her. She does help in a lot of other ways though. She gave us extra cash for gas when we were driving the baby back and forth and money for fast food so I wouldn't have to cook which was really sweet. She came over to play with the kids so I could rest but she drives me a bit crazy. I am greatful for her intentions though. Have you talked with your husband about how you've been feeling? I know for me it spiraled very quickly. I felt my feelings were totally justified. My husband is the one that made me see the dr. and get some help. It's easy to say you'll call when it gets worse but sometimes hard to see it getting worse and can be tough for your hubby to lovingly tell you when you crossed that line. I am really trying to stay up beat but the sleep thing is really getting to me. I did give Sam formula last night and he slept for 4 hours at the beggining of the night. It helped a little...then today my neighbors were here keeping me company. I am determined NOT to get sad this time! I don't have time for therapy or the help available for the kids for me to even get an apointment. when my low moments start outnumbering my high moments I am going to have to figure something out though. The first time was so frightening for me I don't know what we will do if we go thru it again.

Sometimes medication can help. I wasn't a big fan of it. The first two medications the dr tried made me totally numb. Not only did I want to leave my family but I didn't care or think about consiquences it was awful and way worse than dealing with it on my own. She told me we would just keep trying and it could take up to a year to find the right med! I said absolutly not it will be over in a year and I won't need medication! I really didn't care for that dr at all. The most helpful thing is your husband understanding it and helping you thru. When we went to the christian therapist last time he worked with BOTH of us to help my husband understand it and help me communicate to him how I was feeling. I really think that eductaion and getting help with the kids and company to remind you it's not as overwhelming as it seems if you just take it minute by minute will help. I really totally understand how your feeling. Sam has been really fussy just at night lately. Every second that ticks by I am looking at the clock thinking please go to sleep we have to get up in a couple of hours! then it's we have to get up in AN hour then is please be quite so we can stay in bed without waking up your brother and sisters....Then I feel like a zombee all day and count down the minutes till bedtime each night. I was woken up by the kids running thru the house and yelling at each other yesterday after my hubby got up with them and spent the day crying because I couln't fall back asleep. I'm hoping today is a better day for me and you :-)

I am sure they will be able to do something; especially if they think ppd is starting to set in. hang in there and tell the doc everything. i went for my son's appt last time. they saw me once and sent me upstairs to my doc while they checked the baby. i was engorged and just in bad shape.

I have a little. I think it is really important to take breaks and get out of the house so you don't get to stir crazy. I was in the house for two weeks straight and started getting really bad and I finally got out today for a couple of hours and I felt so much better! I hope you can find something that helps if nothing then I would talk to your doctor and get help before it gets worse! Try to hang in there and just know that there are others out there going through the same thing.

okay, I will just stay here for now. Let me know if you go over so we can just go over together. I want to be here to congratulate those that were in our group! As for the odor, I don't think it is good. Did you tear or have stitches? You may want to call your ob because infection may be setting in. I am still sore down there also, but it has been only 3 days. I can understand the depression because you are tired and in pain along with bleeding out. Something has got to give. It says to call the doctor immediately when you start feeling depressed per my doctor so call them tomorrow and let me know.

Are you able to get any help when your husband is at work? I am feeling quite overwhelmed with my kids this weekend. My husband wants attention, each of the kids wants attention and the baby needs constant attention. I havn't even completed a single thought for myself. I can't even so much as daydream without being needed for something. I am just going to trudge thru as long as I can and pray it doesn't get bad. At this point I don't even have time to get help if I needed it. If it is available to you I suggest you get some. Even just a girlfriend to come over and keep you company during the day. I know that helps me. My neighbors have been keeping me busy during the week, it's just the weekends that are getting hard.
