I am 23 years old and currently pregnant with my first baby. My husband and I have been married for 2 years now. We are so excited and nervous about this new little life.

We found out at our 18 week ultrasound that we are having a baby BOY. Looking forward to buying all kinds of stuff for him and planning the nursery. Can't wait til I can hold him in my arms :)

I am so glad that I happened upon this website. It is just what I need to keep me connected to others who are going through the same things as I am.

I gained 15lbs and I lost 15lbs after delivery. I am back down to my normal weight. I also was losing weight in the beginning also. I dunno how I am my regular weight because I have all this stomach flab still

I didnt try breastfeeding, but now, I think I am going to try. Im wondering if it makes the baby less fussy. I know it is not too late for me to start being that he is only like 1 week old. Im going to ask the ped. tomorrow when we go for his first check up. Ive heard mixed things about how hard it can be to breastfeed at first. If for some reason it doesnt work for you, just know you are not a bad mother or anything because of it. :)

Thank you! Remember how I was so nervous about my dog and the baby? Well, he is doing well. I was nervous at first because the dog was so hyper, but now hes chilled out and acts like he doesnt even see the baby! :)

Just an update, My baby ticker says that at 29 weeks baby should be nearly 3 lbs. Ha ha. I had my appointment two weeks ago and my baby girl weighed in at 2 lbs 4 oz. 11-12-08 she is weighing in at 3 lbs 4 oz, :)

The doc says at this rate she could be a
7 1/2 - 8 lb baby... Wish me luck ladies.

Beautiful pictures. As for your pump questions: I would not go with the playtex...the motor has bad reviews! The lansinoh is a good pump. It is the exact same pump as the Ameda Purely Yours, but just a different brand name for stores like Target and Walmart.
The problem is, the lansinoh is 150, but comes with almost no accessories, so you will have to buy a bag, cooler, etc, to carry back and forth to work. For about $50 more, you can get the Ameda Purely Yours (again, the same exact pump) with all the accessories included!
